For me ETH is preferable, let me explain my opinion. On the ETH platform are built much more projects than on EOS platform, I read in some article that the number goes to 1500 projects. In the ETH mining invested much more money than in ETH mining, accordingly the value of the first one on the market will be higher. Therefore I choose ETH, although EOS is very perspective too
I assume that the two Crypto-currencies in the future will have a great growth potential, based on this investment in them - a very good choice. The current market will still be in a state of decline. I'm guessing that this is the best result for investing in them. At a time when the next bull market comes, I believe that the profit will be huge. 
I think that both these coins are good, but I would prefer to invest in EOS now, because according to my expectations, it should grow very much in price.
I personally prefer Ethereum more. Ethereum did so well in such a little time. If you want to also invest in EOS, I would suggest you to make an investment of 70% on Ethereum and 30% on EOS.

I believe we need to see so much more from eos to consider it as real ethereum competitor. Currently ethereum is single best altcoin which everyone agrees and its going to be very hard to drop this giant down.

I would suggest sharing the 50/50 Deposit and buy Eth and Eos. So, you can insure yourself. Because Eth is more reliable, and Eos is a promising coin that has all chances fly to the moon.
ETH all day ! I will prefer ethereum every single time. Ethereum these days are very famous among the altcoins in the market. I believe that Ethereum has the potential to become one of the best coin in cryptocurrency. I noticed also that there is a huge amount of people who believes on it. Having a large community that supports it, makes ethereum as one of the best. So i will choose Ethereum.
No one knows who will show a greater increase in the price of Ethereum or EOS.I advise you to invest 50% in Ethereum and 50% in IOS.Both projects will grow by 100%, but who else does not know)
Probably EOS has a better chance of growing big in a short time. As they launch their MainNet, price can rise very fast. Although it is a good idea to buy both coins.

BTC and ETH also have the ability to create a user-friendly username in the protocol, but this process is often too confusing for the townsfolk. "Block.one" intends to make the EOS system as simple and friendly as possible. For whatever reason I would still recommend Eth to be your top choice. In the future Eth will become a coin that can compete with Bitcoin. If you want to get big profit then follow my suggestion. Select Eth and hold for a long time. Time will answer it. And another reason I choose Eth is I've been too in love with Eth.
I would not say that eth is losing popularity, it is the largest platform for ico at the moment, although there are scalability problems, but I think they will be solved soon
Judging by what is happening with the Ethereum and EOS, I see that the EOS shows good growth, while Ethereum very slowly, but is losing popularity. Now the Etherium is closer by volatility to bitcoin than to EOS.
