Game ended 1:1 and final minutes were really painful for Sparta. They were so close to go with minimal advantage to second leg, but Twente scored on 93rd minute. Sparta goalkeeper actions weren't confident in that moment - when you go out for such ball, you must take it.
Twente were favorites, but 1:1 isn't bad result for them too. They have great chances to solve everything at, home, while for Sparta it will be very difficult.

It's normal for Ajax as a club to find themselves in a difficult position. They were very poor at the beginning of the season but they got better latter on. It happens to every team, it doesn't mean they wont bounce back. All they need to do is go back to their drawing board, get the right coach and players and they will be good.
Feyenoord wont be able to win the champions league. I feel they might make it to the round of 16 if they are lucky. I'm just happy the league would be competitive next season because all the team will be ready.

Yes but i dont think they can hold this so much more, Twente its clearly a much better team than Sparta, and in a two games leg, Twente its gonna prevail.

Twente does have a better record against Sparta Rotterdam as a whole, but overall, if we look at their H2H this season, Sparta Rotterdam was able to provide resistance to Twente with 2 draws, the first 1 - 1 and the second is 3 - 3. From these results, it looks like we will also see an even match between Sparta Rotterdam and Twente, moreover this is a play-off match, the two teams will of course be more serious in their game.

Today Playoff final 1st leg for spot in Conference league between Sparta and Twente will be played. There is no doubt about Ajax failure in this season and their worst performance in last 14 years as well but here we need to check few ground realities as well which will give us better view about this result with hopefully things will be better in future even now situation is very tough because Feyenoord will keep this momentum and PSV and Ajax have to increase their quality if they want to have better results.

Ajax lost coach and few top quality players to Manchester United in early weeks of this season and from here things gone in wrong way even they have done good, but this was surely not as par fans were expecting now they have enough funds which can allow them for having better results and good coach as well which can bring better things in future.

Now in near future, we will have improvement in few other teams as well as AZ Alkmaar which is also trying their best for better results and surely now with this challenge could be tough and competition is not going to easy for them as well.

Ajax and PSV have been somewhat weaker this season than in previous seasons. Their performance was quite erratic. The start of the season saw Ajax drop points in several matches and fall far behind. And Feyenoord's performance was very consistent. Feyenoord have been able to win the title thanks to their consistent performance. However, the Eredivisie league is expected to be more competitive in the coming season. Along with Ajax and PSV, Feyenoord will also fight for the title. And so the possibility of Ajax's dominance in the next season seems less likely to me.

Ajax were simply not as dominant as in previous years and conceded too many goals, especially in the crucial games, such as against PSV. They conceded twice as many goals as last season, you can't win the championship like that, especially Feyenoord having a great season.

Things are happening at Ajax and they know they need to strengthen their defence and they will invest in that i think. Next season could be another three-way battle for the title, but can Feyenoord produce a second outstanding season?

We did not get the expected performance from Ajax in this match. Ajax has scored a lot of goals this season as in previous seasons. And they don't concede too many goals. However, Ajax have won just 20 of their 34 matches this season. Ajax have scored 86 goals this season. League champions Feyenoord scored 81 goals. Ajax should balance their performance.

Next season Ajax will definitely be playing for the title. PSV, Alkmaar and Feyenoord will also be looking to win the title. So far we have only seen the dominance of Ajax in the Eredivisie. But several teams will be aiming for the league title next season. It won't be easy for Ajax to become champions.

This is a major risk for the smaller leagues in particular. I think with Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven they are still well represented, but for a club like Ajax to not have the possibility to present themselves in the Champions League is a big disadvantage especially since they bring out a lot of young talents who then could quickly decide against staying with Ajax.

They also have much less money to offer if they only play in the Europa League. It is about 1/4th if you compare Europa League to the Champions League prize money and that is quite significant for Ajax. Maybe we are seeing a shit in the Eredivisie now and Feyenoord and PSV will take the lead in the future as well.

it's a fact that ajax won't go to the champions league, i even at the beginning thought it wasn't necessary to make much drama about this very sad event, but it's hard not to make a lot of drama about it when even in the last one ajax just went humiliatingly defeated, if the fans were already trying to forget that ajax did not do well this season they were forced to have to remember that because ajax lost in their last game and it was a game in which they conceded 3 goals and only managed score only one goal

clearly this poor performance has affected everyone in the team, but the question now is to think about correcting the mistakes next season, ajax need to hire some good coach and players if they want to get back to being as strong as they were in the past, and honestly that will not be a task easy, I say that because ajax had already built an image in people of being a team that constantly scored a lot of goals, ajax was like bayern in the bundesliga, these teams hardly played and the bookmakers put odds of @ 1.40 on the market over 2.5 goals, so any coach who is in charge of ajax feels pressure, because if he is not able to bring good results

Nothing changed in the last round, neither Ajax nor AZ could win. I wouldn't have expected such a poor performance from Ajax, but even the win wouldn't have changed anything, as PSV also won. All in all, a disappointing season for Ajax.

Ajax have to change a lot for the next season.

Ajax is the most popular Dutch team among football fans all over the world. Losing out on their pursuit to finish the season in the top two position of the Dutch League means they won't be playing I nthe UEFA Champions League and that I think will sure affect some of their players decision to stay and play for the badge of the club or leave to clubs that'll offer champions league football.
Whatever happens in the summer, Ajax will surely bounce back to where they belong come next season and that only will be possible if they sort out the main issues that stopped the club from winning a major trophy this season and fix them
