Twente finished the regular season better than Sparta Rotterdam in terms of the number of points collected and the number of goals scored/conceded. But when it comes to the Europa Conference League playoffs it was quite close between two sides. Twente were able to beat them anyway by 2-1 on aggregate. Congrats to them on this nice win!

Ajax were nearly joining this playoff area if there were more weeks to be played in the regular season. It was a pretty bad season in general for them for certain. This must be a sign to a big change to them but we will see. They have already taken a risk by selling some important players but this has affected them in a really bad way in not only the Eredivisie but also the Europa League.
Twente outperformed Sparta Rotterdam during the regular season as seen by their superior amount of points and goals. But in the Europa Conference League playoffs there was a tight race between the two groups. In the end Twente was able to triumph with a 2-1 overall score. We congratulate them on their remarkable victory and their subsequent advancement in the competition.
Ajax on the other hand had a disappointing season and came just short of making the playoffs. It has been a difficult time for them indicating the necessity for significant team adjustments. Selling important players was a hazardous move and it hurt their Europa League campaign as well as their performance in the Eredivisie. How Ajax resolves these problems and reorganises for the following seasons is still unknown.

They have great chances to solve everything at, home, while for Sparta it will be very difficult.
agree, two play-off matches yesterday (Ere and Serie B for Serie A) and almost same outcomes, host lead up to last minutes, extratime, and than conceived to look at 1:1 draw for re-match

Twente is certainly favorite to secure European spot next season, Sparta had overall great season, much better than usual, but still Twente is better team, and it would be a surprise to see them failing to secure a win at home, odds favoring them big time @1.45, so no great value, but good enough to bet on that
In this season we have few surprising performances from few teams like Sparta and few top teams which create good entertainment with new champions and now Twente is going to play Conference cup with AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord is at the top and PSV which will play qualifications for the Champions League things looking tricky because this could be not easy season for the Feyenoord they need to maintain momentum and keep things high at their spot as well.

After having equalizer against Sparta in first leg match Twente was in better position and in this game they have no problem to secure their position and have UEFA event chance which is surely good today I have good day with betting as well because both teams were on target for me and give me good return of my investment.

Twente won 1:0, but it was far from easy, nevertheless, it secures them place in Conference league next season

AFAIK, Ajax is still looking for new coach, didn't saw that they appointed anyone still, not sure who is that young-one that they are gambling with
hopefully, Feyenoord will have some money boost from CL, and next season could be as interesting as this one

As far as I am concerned, it is right that Twente is now going to play European football. Sparta had suddenly gone from relegation candidate to the sub-top of the Dutch league in recent years. Would also have to do with the trainer, of which it is still uncertain whether he will stay on. I am especially curious how Feyenoord will do, expectations will be high, but on the other hand, PSV has probably brought in a very experienced trainer with Bosz. And Aja is playing with fire by appointing a very inexperienced trainer. is that wise?
As expected, Twente won game at home and goes to Conference league. But it wasn't that easy and their win was just 1:0, despite dominance on pitch. After all, they most deserved this spot as from all playoff teams, they ended in highest place in regular season.
After Van Nistelrooy left, Bosz looks like not bad replacement. And if I haven't missed anything, Ajax is still looking for new manager.

Feyenoord was indeed much too good this season. But Ajax and PSV have brought this on themselves by appointing 2 inexperienced trainers who have not achieved anything anywhere. When Heintinga was appointed, it was already too late to make anything of it. But the gameplay hasn't gotten any better either. For Feyenoord, of course, it is a great relief that Arne Slot has stayed, and thanks to City's win in the CL, Feyenoord is now also lucky that it has ended up in tube 1 as a team. Together with Ajax, they are the favorite for the title next season.

Sparta and Twente are playing play-off today, and currently Sparta is in the lead 1:0, somewhere unexpected for me, but they have two matches to play, and Twente chances are still better to win this play-off for European spot
nervous match, Twente controlled match till penalty for Sparta, and now is down, will be interesting to see if they can make something in last 30 minutes, if there is no second match, I would put something on them to win, but as there is re-match, maybe just play on more goals tonight
Game ended 1:1 and final minutes were really painful for Sparta. They were so close to go with minimal advantage to second leg, but Twente scored on 93rd minute. Sparta goalkeeper actions weren't confident in that moment - when you go out for such ball, you must take it.
Twente were favorites, but 1:1 isn't bad result for them too. They have great chances to solve everything at, home, while for Sparta it will be very difficult.

The biggest victory for Feyenoord is that the trainer will stay. He could still go Spurs but then you don't play CL. How good is Feyenorod if they play in the CL? I think they might be the favorites to win the new title in the league, but who will straighten things out at Ajax next season? A difficult task for any trainer. There are not many people who can help Ajax out in this position. In any case, Heitinga is leaving.

Normally Ajax always has a much stronger selection than Feyenoord and also than PSV. The trainers made the difference. But not only Ajax's trainer is gone, VanNistelrooy has also resigned himself 1 round before the end of the competition. I don't think it's really a good time to hand in your resignation. Fred Rutten will not stay on as coach, but both Ajax and PSV both suddenly have to look for a new trainer. Peter Bosz has often been taken and now that Edwin van der Sar is gone, the way seems to be clear for Bosz to go to Ajax, right?

It's normal for Ajax as a club to find themselves in a difficult position. They were very poor at the beginning of the season but they got better latter on. It happens to every team, it doesn't mean they wont bounce back. All they need to do is go back to their drawing board, get the right coach and players and they will be good.
Feyenoord wont be able to win the champions league. I feel they might make it to the round of 16 if they are lucky. I'm just happy the league would be competitive next season because all the team will be ready.

Today Playoff final 1st leg for spot in Conference league between Sparta and Twente will be played. Twente didn't had any problems against Heerenveen and today they're significant favorites, even despite that they're playing away. I wouldn't understimate Sparta much and I doubt that Twente will manage to solve things in 1st leg already.

Twente does have a better record against Sparta Rotterdam as a whole, but overall, if we look at their H2H this season, Sparta Rotterdam was able to provide resistance to Twente with 2 draws, the first 1 - 1 and the second is 3 - 3. From these results, it looks like we will also see an even match between Sparta Rotterdam and Twente, moreover this is a play-off match, the two teams will of course be more serious in their game.

Yes but i dont think they can hold this so much more, Twente its clearly a much better team than Sparta, and in a two games leg, Twente its gonna prevail.

Xavi Simons has saved PSV to a certain extent this season. It also didn't matter much if PSV had just finished 3rd this season and then you would have also missed out on the placement for the CL. I also don't think PSV has the opportunity to keep Simons. Arsenal have already signed up and other clubs will undoubtedly follow soon. And then? Then PSV is called a big problem. Think the choice to appoint van Nistelrooij as head coach of the first team was a wrong choice. An icon for the club as a footballer does not mean that you are also a good trainer. A big name will have to come to Ajax as a trainer, otherwise you will have another dramatic season.

There is no doubt about Ajax failure in this season and their worst performance in last 14 years as well but here we need to check few ground realities as well which will give us better view about this result with hopefully things will be better in future even now situation is very tough because Feyenoord will keep this momentum and PSV and Ajax have to increase their quality if they want to have better results.

Ajax lost coach and few top quality players to Manchester United in early weeks of this season and from here things gone in wrong way even they have done good, but this was surely not as par fans were expecting now they have enough funds which can allow them for having better results and good coach as well which can bring better things in future.

The departures in the winter at Ajax were too much, as you write, key players and coache. Somehow I had the feeling that the Ajax management was sure they could easily get through it, they were a bit arrogant and thought Ajax could easily compensate, but then it wasn't so. Of course they earned over 100 million, but the Champions League start with > 20 million has not been achieved.

Twente made serious step in first leg beating Heerenveen away 1:2. It should be painful for Heerenveen to concede goal 93rd minute, now their task becomes very difficult.
While Sparta made little upset by beating Utrecht away, also 1:2. They were even leading 0:2 and Utrecht scored their goal only in 2nd half. IMO, result don't reflect game much, Utrecht had more chances today. But taking whole season picture, Sparta had very solid season and it would be interesting if they would get chance to play in Conference league.
2nd leg games will be played very soon, on Saturday already.

We did not get the expected performance from Ajax in this match. Ajax has scored a lot of goals this season as in previous seasons. And they don't concede too many goals. However, Ajax have won just 20 of their 34 matches this season. Ajax have scored 86 goals this season. League champions Feyenoord scored 81 goals. Ajax should balance their performance.

Next season Ajax will definitely be playing for the title. PSV, Alkmaar and Feyenoord will also be looking to win the title. So far we have only seen the dominance of Ajax in the Eredivisie. But several teams will be aiming for the league title next season. It won't be easy for Ajax to become champions.
Ajax were simply not as dominant as in previous years and conceded too many goals, especially in the crucial games, such as against PSV. They conceded twice as many goals as last season, you can't win the championship like that, especially Feyenoord having a great season.

Things are happening at Ajax and they know they need to strengthen their defence and they will invest in that i think. Next season could be another three-way battle for the title, but can Feyenoord produce a second outstanding season?
There is no doubt about Ajax failure in this season and their worst performance in last 14 years as well but here we need to check few ground realities as well which will give us better view about this result with hopefully things will be better in future even now situation is very tough because Feyenoord will keep this momentum and PSV and Ajax have to increase their quality if they want to have better results.

Now in near future, we will have improvement in few other teams as well as AZ Alkmaar which is also trying their best for better results and surely now with this challenge could be tough and competition is not going to easy for them as well.
