PSV and Ajax are both not having a great season. But it all seemed to work out for PSV because they managed to win the cup and would be no less than 5 points ahead of Ajax. That difference has been reduced to 3 points after today, and those 3 points could still get PSV into trouble next week when they visit AZ. PSV still has the best chances to reach the CL, but let's not forget that AZ can still qualify for the EL, and that way Ajax can still be relegated to the Conference League. All scenarios are therefore still possible at the moment.
after 3 successive seasons Ajax controlled the Eredivisie but this season Feyenoord managed to break that domination, it's true this was not a good season for Ajax and PSV but besides that it must be admitted that Feyenoord this season was extraordinary, they made the longest team record ever undefeated this season, Feyenoord had to wait 6 long years to finally win again this season, a 3-goal victory over Go Ahead Eagles confirmed Feyenoord as Eredivisie champions this season because it was impossible for their points to be overtaken by PSV and also Ajax.

in one last game all possibilities are possible because Ajax and AZ are only 2 points different, but I don't think that Ajax will fail in their last match.

In any case, PSV managed to achieve an important draw against Heerenveen. But the fact that you are behind 1-3 at home against Heerenveen does indicate that something is structurally wrong at PSV. Otherwise you should be able to win easily in your own stadium normally. Next week we will have an exciting denouement, isn't that what we all want in the competition? Feyenoord was very good. But under a new trainer it will fall like a house of cards. So don't appoint Dirk Kuyt

PSV was lucky for the draw and the penalty in the 85th minute, for PSV it will be a difficult game against AZ, AZ wants or needs to win to catch Ajax, for PSV a draw would be enough. Of course, Ajax have to win their game first.

I agree, Ajax and PSV have an average season, both teams have an average of 10 points less than in the last seasons, only Feyenoord is above the 80 points and therefore deserved to be champions.

Unexpectedly, we still get an exciting final round in the battle for places 2, 3 and 4. It could be that Ajax will still play conference League and PSV is lucky that it still managed a 3-3 draw to obtain. So the cards have not yet been shuffled for the next round, the final game. PSV does have a tough opponent in the form of AZ, which was eliminated this week in the conference league. Ajax to the conference league, that would be a big failure for the club and the end for van der Sar as general manager?

If PSV lose to AZ and Ajax win, Ajax could even finish second, but Ajax could also finish fourth if AZ win and Ajax lose. So a very exciting last round in the Eredivisie. Nobody expected that in the last round so much is possible, Ajax from second to fourth place everything is possible.

Conferece league would be a disappointment for Ajax in any case, even if the chances to win it would be high.

It's going to be a strange ending indeed. Nobody is sure of a certain competition, except Feyenoord. If PSV misses the CL next week, they will have missed it against Heerenveen today. And it is a conceivable scenario, because when you visit AZ you can easily run into a defeat. Then you go play the EL. Ajax has a huge budget, I think that with the right trainer they can play a significant role in the CL next season. PSV does not belong there. Only Feyenoord was really mega good this season and won convincingly in the end. Not a great last game, but who cares if you're already champion anyway?

Feyenoord are already champion, but a win for PSV today will secure them the runners-up spot and a place in the Champions League qualifiers.

Ajax will have a tougher game than AZ today, with a win for AZ possibly overtake them if Ajax lose or draw.

This would be really bad for Ajax if they even miss the Europa League qualification games. The Conference League isn't enough for them. It could lead to several players leaving the club or deciding against joining Ajax. Especially the young talents that usually choose Ajax as a first step on their way to a big international career could then decide against it because they need the European stages to present themselves. But the Conference League isn't quite the competition where you want to show to others what you are able to do as a player.

So Ajax have to step up a gear after the abandonment of the match and now at the new staging against the relegated team, currently 1:1 at half time, this is clearly too little if they want to be third in the league.

PSV and AZ won their matches at the weekend easy.

Ajax being third is not a success for them, just because AZ went ahead for a bit that they may have to win a game or they will be fourth type of situation they are in, doesn't mean that getting back on third will be anything good, it is going to hurt everyone anyway. Ajax needs to recover quickly, this isn't a good look for them, not a team with this much history and wide spread scouting network neither, they need to be a lot better.

I personally believe that Feyenoord will keep the streak going and win another one next season, because Ajax do not have a clear roadmap to become better, need a better manager and need to replace the players with better ones, that is not a single season thing and it will take at least another season for them to get better.

congrats to Feyenoord, way to go to get title, they have winning strike and confirmed as Champions two rounds before the end

PSV is close to secure position two, and Ajax will have to fight AZ till the end
what happened in Groningen is a real shame for Ere divisie, and it is not isolated incident this season, they should do something about that
Feyenoord have really looked extraordinary this season, even up to matchday 33/34 they have only lost 1 time, they really deserve to be champions. Gimenez has played quite well in almost every match that Feyenoord has played, he has managed to collect 15 goals so far. What's interesting for me to see is the battle for position 3, it seems that the chance for Ajax to shift Alkmaar, who is currently in position 3, is quite large.

Feyenoord, on the other hand, has now officially declared its championship.Although the point difference between its rivals has closed in the last weeks, Feyenoord, which did not allow it to close this difference by winning the matches with its rivals, definitely deserved the championship by playing good football since the beginning of the season. They should be congratulated. In a league with teams like Ajax, PSV, on top of that, AZ Alkmaar also reached the championship by beating these teams despite being in form this year. Ajax started to experience low form after selling their players one by one.It will take time to replace the players they sold because their infrastructure is a good team and they train good players every year.Let's see next year, I think we will watch a more competitive league here.Congratulations again to Feyenoord who became the champion 2 weeks before the end of the league.

It is actually nice to see some different champions after a domination by one team for many years. It has been a solid performance by Feyenoord side throughout the season really. They have lost only once so far. PSV also had a superb form in the recent times but it wasn't enough to keep up with Feyenoord. And Feyenoord concentrated on the league title completely after being eliminated by Roma in the Europa League. Otherwise maybe they could have had more problems on balancing both of them.

And of course Ajax have been the most disappointing team of the season indeed. They made big changes in the squad and it looks like this affected them negatively.

Congrats to Feyenoord for winning Eeredivisie for the first time since 2016/17. Fully deserved it, despite that throughout the season many people were quite sceptical about their chances. Today's game against Go Ahead Eagles looked like celebration party.
Groningen -Ajax game was abandoned after already relegated Groningen fans started throwing flares and made pitch invasion. I already lost count how many similar accidents we had in Netherlands this season. Fderation have to do something to solve this problem.

I don't know exactly where it went wrong either. It is clear that things have become less when coach Erik Ten Hag left for Manchester United last year. And then you also got the situation around Marc Overmars, that may have been a push and gave little confidence in the leadership. Huntelaar is too inexperienced and van der Sar is not capable enough to lead this club. How could you function without a technical director for a while if this was the core of your success? Ajax has invested capital in the last year and it has actually only gone worse. With the right trainer you can get this going. Someone like Peter Bosz seems to me to be the right person now.

Feyenoord has officially become national champion today in a flawless season. How much force majeure can you have? It's a bit like Bayern Munich in a good year. Ajax and PSV managed to keep up until the winter break, after which a whole metamorphosis took place at Feyenoord in a positive way. And now it will be exciting for Ajax whether they will still qualify for the EL. If not, Edwin van der Sar would leave, at least that was his own promise. No doubt he will come back to that. Speaking of Ajax, they may have the most money in the field than the entire top 10 together.
There was indeed only 1 team that deserved to win. They have also only lost 1x in the entire competition, which other European top team can say that? I can't remember a team losing so few times. Even Ajax in its best years always lost a few times, except for a phenomenal year when they competed against Roda JC and when they won the world cup. I thought they were undefeated champions then. Ajax has made a very deep fall, I wonder if they will come out of it. For starters, they should fire Van Der Sar.
There is no doubt about Ajax fall down in this season as they sell their top ranked players without any solid backup which hurt them badly now they are also out of the Champions League for the next season because PSV is already sealed their second spot after their hard fought win against Sittard which take early lead and give tough fight to PSV for win this match and settled for the second spot in league table.

Now in next season we will have few good teams will be available for the title race with Ajax could be team to watch because they will now allow any team for having things like this season hopefully Feyenoord will also keep this momentum, and we will have another exciting season in Dutch league.

this means that Feyenoord will have more money to sign more players, which means that they will be able to remain strong to the point that they will also win the league next season

really doubt this, I think that Feyenoord has been one season wonder, strike is far from expected
Ajax/PSV have long been on top, and I think one from those two will regain title next season, this one seems as already finished

could be that Feyenoord pass group stage in CL next season, but doubt that as well, even top teams from Germany/France have troubles to pass group stage when accidentally take title or group stage positions (Lille, Eintracht, Marseille or similar, but Leicester as well)

ajax are at rock bottom and I doubt very much that their situation will improve much next season unless Feyenoord sell their good players and drop a lot in performance next season which can happen as teams tend to get greedy when they win the league, they want to get as much profit as possible, but they end up forgetting about next season, but if Feyenoord keep their squad and sign more good players then they might be able to win the league again. As for PSV, they are a good team with a very good attack, I believe that if they keep their squad then next time they can also be a strong candidate to win the league

but about ajax, I honestly don't understand how they fell so much, now they are even in the fourth position of the table, this was one of their worst campaigns and the question here will be how they will do to rise, will the problem be with the coach and players ? what manager would be best suited to return ajax to dominance in the league? and how many good players might they be able to buy? we have to see in the transfer window what the ajax management will do, if they don't make big signings then I don't expect any good changes from them next season
