Whoops. My power went out last nignt. My p2pool is back on now.
Someone else was trying to setup a p2pool on 64 bit windows and it turns out to be really difficult, and the docs suck hard.
I believe p2pool would be a lot more used if there was some decent documentation out there. Or maybe someone with windows just needs to compile a prebuilt exe for rpccoin usage. Someone did that for litecoin.
But yeah, the p2pool author seems not to care much about making it easy for people to use.
The P2Pool could use some love, the hashes have increased today and yesterday but we're still not close to hitting any blocks. Set up your own P2Pool (see previous posts in this thread) or start hashing on one right now.

People please bail from muchhash pool please. I like this coin and we don't need any issues.

After my last post the hashrate is steadily climbing, which of course is good but it would be nice if we can get some extra nodes going too ;-)
So I take it the drop from 63 to 10 is actually just a publication error on the website ?
Basically... yes!
The frontend of the pool just shows the difficulty needed to get correct block time for current net hashpower...
It can't automatically know that the maximum adjust is 11%.... we, the pool owners, would have to change the shown value by hand.... or rather manually adjust the calculation behind the value...

great! if anyone is looking for a host provider i just got my self a vps from host-engine.com paid in rpc, they take doge too.
it says 10.7634693 (Change in 712 Blocks) in http://rpc.cryptocoinpools.co.uk/
I take it that is incorrect ? Also, I had a look earlier with difficulty retarget from 78 to 10... Then after all the blocks were done, the retarget was only down to 63 and not 10 ? What happened ?
Due to the fork, the coin can only adjust 11% max up or down every 30 blocks
(I believe 30 blocks?).
So basically when the difficulty goes up or down, it is by 11% increments rather than say from 63 to 10 i.e. over 80% ? So it would go down to say 63 to 57 ? then from 57 down to 52 ?

the dev's implemented it so it only would go down 11% (not quite shure about the number because it only dropped about 6% but it's definetly planed)

Is teh Wallet version v0.8.6.2-g88e2a2e-beta latest?
This is the one I have, which I downloaded right when they announced the new update. Not sure if a newer one was put out though..
