Not sure about Yamich but Armel can compete with the best of the mid laners in WEU. If given ample time for scrims, practice, and lots of tournaments, Armel can achieve success just like Abed did in previous EG. I really think that this pick up by Puppey is the best decision he's made, though I'm quite unsure of Resolution being replaced. He performed okay during their first stint of the year in the first DPC tour, while their previous mid laner needed to be dragged a lot of times on a lot of teamfights in order to be helpful to the team.

Hopefully they achieve some success on this new roster. I have lots of high hopes for Armel to do good in that region.

G2 also looks consistent, aside from their recent 2-0 loss against Cloud9. Personally, I hope to see more upsets like these, as they make the scene even more competitive and thrilling to watch.

As well as ESL Pro League goes. This is the season of upsets. And IT will only continue. To me, tier1 (that includes max top10 teams in the world does not exist anymore). Only Heroic is actually pretty consistent with their form, but always do lose in finals (major, IEM katowice). We do need source2 that will finally implement huge changes in the game. Nerfing AWP, or SSG won't do a thing, if we won't change movement, boosts, atleast half of map pool. Look at Nuke right now. It used to be fully CT sided map for a few years. In 2022 its Like 60/40 CT map, that played well, could convert into 30/70 T sided map. Valve makes cosmetial changes, but it stll does not improve lvl of sportship.

Yet performance of NIP did not surprise me at all. I do not know how Aleksib, after getting benched in 3, teams before, is still taken seriously to tier1 teams. G2, OG, all of these squads, full of such great players (maybe NBK was not as good) failed even in major qualifications. How far this can go? Australian CS was always the one getting roasted around the whole world, only Dexter achieved something. Losing to such team as Grayhound, with 1 map lead, and also 9:6 lead on 2nd map, mirage, is a sign to move on with such IGL as AleksiB is. He just can not perform such as he used to back in the days, when he was in Ence.

Yesterday there were 2 matches whose outcome surprised me. It's good that they're making a somewhat swifter action right now. I remember that some of the cheating accusations a few years back that took months before Valve acknowledged and then the situation just died down and IIRC this is also for a Chinese team. Having said that, there isn'tthat much that can be done for these players except to hand over these bans for them to realize the gravity of their actions. Less players in the active pool = more chance for a lot of new teams to grab.

1+ month without competitive Dota that is worth watching, I'll start focusing my sights on CS:GO once more.

There's no turning back, they've chosen their path and just destroyed their Dota 2 career. They know the consequences for doing such activities that are against the management and cheating is not tolerated by Valve I agree with you that they're acting quickly this time. Going back to CS:GO actions, although some minor Dota 2 tournaments are still there.

Well atleast Knights player made it to the Major then made a joke out of themselves by getting their ass beat by most team from the group stage before Valve decided to ban them

It's a combination of many cheating involved like those hotkeys that they're using while they play, map hack for which most games and qualifiers are made online so it's easy for them to abuse it, and as well as the known "322". Well, they deserve it and looking at some articles online, I've read that only 2 teams remain in division 2. Let's see how the China region will fill those removed spots.

Two matches will be played today. The first match will be pain-og. Pain is a strong team but not strong enough to beat OG. I think OG team will beat Pain even if it's hard, it won't be an easy match. 3 maps can be played.
The other match is the Grayhound-NiP match. I expect NiP to win this match, albeit difficult, as well as a heavy defeat against Faze. Grayhound is the strong team of Australia and will push NiP.

A month? nah, the DPC is back in 3-4 days depending on the region and it start with the division 1

This Sunday there is going to be a matchup between FaZe and Vitality in the upper final of Group C in the ESL Pro League. FaZe are favoured obviously and their performance recently has really been brilliant. In this matchup they are quite advantageous as well actually. Because they are better than Vitality on many maps. It is up to FaZe to make use of this advantage and be the victor.

When we check their head-to-head stats we clearly see that FaZe have a huge superiority to them. I think they can benefit from this psychological dominance too. I still expect a 2-1 result though as Vitality are not doing bad lately.

Just as I thought, Faze defeated NiP with easy. I knew NiP's roster wasn't settled after a tough win against Pain, and we can see that there are big problems within the team, as they started 12-3 down on both maps. It should be said that they suffered a crushing defeat especially in the ancient map.It is sad that a team like NiP, which has achieved great success in its time, has been defeated like this.Because it was one of the teams that I loved and supported at the time.I can say that NiP could not recover after the roster with GeT_RighT.

Just because of that LINA hero spam on Lima Majors then this current patch did really make out some overhaul or simply nerf out this hero which cd and atk speed had been decreases out which is really that
sad specially for those die hard users of this hero and its true that this current hero Muerta is really that on carry type which its been labeled on that category which is something that would be
spam out on normal or ranked matchmaking or being on an autopick Cheesy

It's not that sad at all, nerfing is always expected when it becomes a popular hero and that's what Valve is doing every single major or minor that happens. It will be followed up by another update by the month of April and let's see what it will be.

I've tried to play Muerta and I thought that it's an agi hero but it's an int instead.

Yup, Witch Doctor is still strong since he received a slight buff on his W and maybe we'd see more meme hammer combo as it's now viable to more heroes after the casting time reduction.

For now, it's hard to say who could be the go-to hero in the competitive scene as we're only a few days into the patch and I barely play pubs but my guess would be Juggernaut, OD, Clinkz, and maybe SK as some of them received one or two good buffs that could push them higher in the priority list.

We'll see it then, currently, I am just enjoying the pubs and surprisingly that almost any hero is gonna be in good meta but we shall see what the pros will do about it with their pub games.

Vitality recently made a roster change and jackz came instead of dupreeh.This change may have been made for the sake of the team's agreement.The fact that Jackz adapted immediately shows this.It must be said that they are a really strong team now.I take this crushing win against OG as normal.OG could not settle the team for some reason.They mixed, but I think there are disagreements between the team.They are all talented players, but with different countries, maybe they have problems with the agreement.They may need a little more time. I think Faze will beat NiP.I think NiP is a rebuilt team after all.A few players have changed and there will be an adaptation process.So I can say that faze is the heavy favorite and I don't think it will be a difficult match for faze.

Jackz is a very experienced player he will strengthen the Vitality team. The impact was felt immediately in the OG match. Zywoo is really an amazing player.S1mple and Zywoo have already been in a race for a few years.Jackz is an experienced player who has played in top teams, so we can say that he adapted quickly.OG didn't show much presence on the anubis map he chose.Vitality was the better team and they knew how to win. The player who stood out in the OG team was Degster with his awpers, but his performance was naturally not enough.Zywoo played a big role in winning the match with a nice stat.

Both Rooster and Grayhound seem weaker than their Brazilian counterpart. If this continues we'll get an Australian derby between Rooster and Grayhound in the first Last Chance match on Saturday. Especially as 00Nation looked quite decent against OG yesterday so they should be able to beat Grayhound in LB match tonight.

If Grayhound and Rooster meet, Grayhound will be the winners. Rooster is the weakest link in the group and I don't think they can win a match. It's a great achievement for them to get this far. On the other hand, I think we will watch Vitality-Faze as the upper bracket final match in the group.It's hard to know the winner but I think Vitality is one step ahead this time.I wonder if it will be as I expect.
