Team Rooster is one of the weakest members of this group. I doubt they can even win. We saw in the fight against Pain that they are weak. Pain is a strong team and had to beat such an opponent anyway. The next match is OG-Vitality. OG is also a strong team but vitality has changed players and jackz seems to have gotten used to his new team quickly. I expect Vitality to win.

Alright, just after the Lima major and those that have been too curious and were aware of the cheating that Team Knights did during the qualifiers, there's now an action that's been made by Valve and Perfect World. And they're not the only players from that team has been banned, there are too many of them. There goes the lifetime ban for players and those that have the duration of 1 year and 2 years ban.
Refer to this list for those players: Knights and EHOME Players Amongst 46 Banned From Dota 2 Pro Circuit

For OG, yeah, this is the best thing that they can do. Thankfully no one was really kicked out from the team. Chu has already showcased his support skills to the world on several tournaments, and he has performed according to what the rest of the squad wants. Misha's analysis and knowledge on drafts and metas can be used on the coaching position by providing great insights on the team pre-match. Hopefully with this switch they achieve great tournament placings and earn as much points as they can to qualify for TI invite.

I believe OG just needs experience in order to win. They are a young team. Though they have played a lot of tournaments, it is not yet enough for the team. Their time will come since they are a good team. We have seen them win a few tournaments last season, so they are very capable.

Misha becoming the Coach is also a good move. There are times when he gets a problem getting a visa so that affects the team. Now that he is a coach, even if he gets a visa problem, the players are not that much affected.

A year and some months for bzm, yuragi, taiga, with DM and Chu just newly integrated into the team. I guess those first 3 who replaced the team can dictate the pace of the games that they want to play, and DM/chu can adjust accordingly. Taiga is a good shot caller, and yuragi is flexible and reliable in the safelane. Some more tournaments with a lot of scrims can help this team to get better placements. Chu's 4 position is really good, and gives a lot of opening to bzm and Yuragi to farm and take the space that they need. Hopefully they figure out what they need to do in order to be as successful as other newly-formed teams (ehem, new EG).

What could be the next heroes that will be always be picked in the next tournaments? With what GG did for Witch Doctor, I guess that it will be part of the new meta that it will be considered as another strong offlane hero, maybe.
Yup, Witch Doctor is still strong since he received a slight buff on his W and maybe we'd see more meme hammer combo as it's now viable to more heroes after the casting time reduction.

For now, it's hard to say who could be the go-to hero in the competitive scene as we're only a few days into the patch and I barely play pubs but my guess would be Juggernaut, OD, Clinkz, and maybe SK as some of them received one or two good buffs that could push them higher in the priority list.

Time for team's to reshuffling as the new update for Dota 2 patch 7.32e has been released as promised.

https://www.dota2.com/patches/7.32e

There's also another hero named "Muerta": Dota 2’s new hero Muerta is now available, bigger 7.33 patch release date revealed.

And there will be a new update by next month. That was a quick release and will be followed up by another patch.
Just because of that LINA hero spam on Lima Majors then this current patch did really make out some overhaul or simply nerf out this hero which cd and atk speed had been decreases out which is really that
sad specially for those die hard users of this hero and its true that this current hero Muerta is really that on carry type which its been labeled on that category which is something that would be
spam out on normal or ranked matchmaking or being on an autopick  Cheesy

Armel would be a good potential pick up for Team Secret as I remember seeing his LFT tweet including the other players from Fnatic.

There's also OG announcing their role swap between Chuvash and Misha, so now Chuvash will be taking the support role together with Taiga while Misha moves to the coaching position.

If Armel is willing to relocate, then he's a possible pick for Team Secret. However, Secret will most probably prioritize players from EU already since those players are already used to the meta that Secret is using plus the communication barrier wouldn't be that much. In terms of raw skill and talent though, Armel is up there for the midlaners, and there was a time that he went toe-to-toe against the big names on midlane and still came out on top.

Vitality and OG were the winners in the remaining matches. We can say that the first 4 matches went exactly as I expected and there were no surprises. Vitality won overwhelmingly against grayhound. Obviously, this win is very normal since they are already one of the heavy favorites of the group. OG had a bit of a hard time beating their opponent. It is quite normal to have difficulty, 00Nation has talented and experienced players who have achieved success in big tournaments before and have good rankings.  One of them is already coldzera.

Most of the players were expecting a major patch including me but at least we won't get to see Lina, Riki, DP, and the other meta heroes in the next tour.  Grin
That's what we get. For the game to have some balance, those heroes that have been mostly used to tournaments, they'll get nerfed.

A lot of changes made for those most picked heroes with this last patch.

The first two matches are pain-NiP and Faze-Rooster. We can say that Faze's opponent is easier than NiP. Faze will have a comfortable win. NiP, on the other hand, will have a hard time, but I think they will win. Pain is a strong team, but I don't think they have the power to beat NiP. I think OG and Vitality will be the winners of the other matches to be played later.
Spot on. I haven't watched any paiN match before, but they put up a good fight against NiP in their map picks. NiP ended up winning the map but that was closer than what the odds suggested. It's a different story for Rooster though, they seem to get steamrolled by FaZe right now Cheesy

I don't think there will be any upsets for the four opening matches, but the lower bracket and upper bracket finals should be more interesting to watch.
Thank you very much. I usually know more or less what CS:GO teams are going to do, but sometimes there are surprises. There is not much we can do against them. Simple and individual mistakes can sometimes lead to losing the match. That's exactly what happened. Faze didn't have much difficulty against his opponent. NiP, on the other hand, struggled against a strong Brazilian team but managed to win. NiP has a good roster but I feel like they need some time if this roster is to remain stable.

What if the midlaner is going to be Armel? He's free and I don't know any other midlaners that are quite available as of the moment and I'm sure Puppey is willing to explore that.

Armel is flexible and I think really suits the play style of Team Secret but still, it would be hard to ignore the comparison between him and Nisha. But then, everyone has to move on. And for OG, it's good that Misha swapped position with Chuvash since it's notable that with the tournaments that has passed, it's always that Chu was there and he's not able to participate due to some personal reasons, IIRC, it was related to health concerns but either way, both are good players and that's why OG won't just let them go.

You are not wrong in some sense but Secret is going to play in division 2 for the next DPC so that means they are going to miss out the DPC points as well as the next Major. Even if somehow Secret ended up making their way up to division 1 and somehow win the 3rd DPC as well as the 3rd Major, they could even not make it to TI with their DPC points rank

So based on that, Secret is on the same position as Old G which is getting to the next TI through open qualifier

You are right. Anyway, Team Secret is going through a revamp right now since Zayac is also moving out of the team. It seems Puppey is disappointed in their last run that he is willing to let go of these two great players. OLD G will surely benefit from having Reso on their team.

Open qualifiers for Spring Tour will start soon. We will see soon who will Puppey take as their new member in this DPC run.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think OLD G was not even qualified for Division 2. So, Reso is actually going a step down in division. But he is joining Ceb and Topson. And maybe this time they will be more serious since NoTail is stepping down as well from OLD G since he said he is still not ready to go back to the serious grind for Professional DOTA. Who knows why Reso is leaving Team Secret but it is obviously not an upgrade to go to OLD G. I think Secret is still in a better choice if you are thinking professionally.

This week group C is starting, with mostly one sided games.
Agree, it's so one-sided that the odds for the favorites are very low. The odds for FaZe even reached 1.01 right now Cheesy. I'll try to look for map handicap instead, probably a +1.5 on 00NATION. Not sure what the odd is for that selection. Looking at group C, I think FaZe should take first place in this group. It might get interesting if they meet Vitality in the upper final as both teams haven't faced each other in a while.

I agree it's better to stick with Team Secret and avoid playing those extra matches through the qualifiers. And there are rumors that Team Secret might be removing Zayac from the team while Boom is potentially moving to the offlane role.

The roster change somewhat lines up with Reso moving to Old G but now i'm more interested to know who will be Team Secret's midlaner and soft support.  Grin
This is one of the exciting part when a team dissolves and another good team has that rumor of changing their roster. Zayac is no doubt a good position 4 but I like more the tandem of Puppey and Yapzor. When Fnatic was dissolved, I thought that DJ will be going to Team Secret to replace zayac but he went to bleed esports. What if the midlaner is going to be Armel? He's free and I don't know any other midlaners that are quite available as of the moment and I'm sure Puppey is willing to explore that.
