Two teams for Alliance, the main Alliance and Alliance.LATAM.
I'm surprised with Alliance taking in two squads for this season as it's going to be costly but I guess they want more chances to make it in the TI since the EU region is too stacked.
Many Chinese teams did this before but they're all in the same region. I think there's still that restricted rule that only one team from the same organization will get in to the TI if ever these two teams are qualified for it.

Yeah, it's costly but it's Alliance and they've got bunch of sponsors and money so, it's manageable. Thus, it's like SA teams are like the not-so-expensive teams to finance but truly competitive and strong teams.

BetBoom's new roster is so stacked I think they'll be the new top team in the CIS region but we'll see if their teamwork goes well.

Yeah, this stack got that expectation for us that they'll be well and TORONTOTOKYO playing for pos 5. I think he's still at his prime but well, just like the good old captains that has played other main role before shifted to pos 5.

While on Team Spirit, larl is their new mid player.

The old EG squad is now picked up by Shopify Rebellion and their new offlaner Saberlight is also a solid replacement.

A few days ago it was named Alameda 2018, honestly when fly has announced that. The first thing that came to my mind is FTX/Alameda lol.

And speaking of OG, there's also the hot post in the dota subreddit where Notail, Topson, Noone, and MSS are registered under the team name Old G and the others are saying that Ceb would be the last player to complete the team.

I kinda expected that Notail and probably Ceb to be competing for fun on the Open Qualifier but Topson is still pretty much S rated pos 2. There are decent teams out there that wants him but he probably threw it all away just to be in the same team with Notail. Its weird that Ana is not included in it, kinda wants Ana to complete the team with them

This is honestly the first time I've seen Outsiders being favored over Navi, and perhaps it is very telling because of what happened in Brazil. S1mple showed how stressed he was during that tournament and it didn't help him much that his teammates are also not stepping up and doing their thing. Would have been nice if any of his teammates at least helped him carry but meh, electronic and the rest of 'em are too fazed due to the crowd. At this point you should expect them to not get distracted by the noise of the crowd but it still worked against their favor sadly.

Here are the odds for Blast Premier World Finals :

After seeing Vitality's odd, their rise by the Spinx transfer and their fall later on have come to my mind. The Spinx addition made the team more effective first. Because he was already a great fragger and he was definitely the right transfer for the team. They continued to keep up a good performance for some time. I even thought about whether they would dethrone FaZe and Natus Vincere.

But somehow things started to go sideways. There has been a big level of decrease in their performance recently. Their last Major experience was horrible as they were out in the Legends Stage already. I wonder if there is some mental problem affecting all of the players. Blast tournament is an opportunity for them to improve but I still can't trust them much.

Going back to Old G, topson is there too. See the pic below for their roster.

That is exciting, we are having the old OG back in the professional DOTA. That is a good thing to watch. We are missing ANA and Jerax in the roster, but that will be fine. Jerax is still committed as a coach in Team Liquid so we may see him with OLD G but ANA is possible since he does not have a current team. Maybe mid-season or next year we will see the Old OG back in their new form team OLD G.
Yeah, Jerax is good being the coach of Team Liquid but who knows if these boys will have a reunion and will try to get their third aegis together with ana. We don't know what might happen in the future but this stack of theirs are ready to bang teams in this DPC season.

Also with Topson locked in for Old G then that means Liquid secured Nisha as their mid player. I can't wait to watch the open qualifiers in a few days.
Interesting.

It's possible that nisha will go to Team Liquid now. We're all excited to see all of these competitive teams lock their roster and ready to roll on for this DPC season.

Another news. Dendi is back with his new teammates for B8 --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/B8

They've got mooz from SA region (Peru). It seems that SA players these days are in demand because Alliance also acquires Hokori to play for them. So, it's Alliance.LATAM. --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Alliance.LATAM

Two teams for Alliance, the main Alliance and Alliance.LATAM.

I guess notail will not play this time afaik he said that with ceb this is their last game
I'd be surprised if notail won't play and just registered his name in the team when Noone and Topson could've been picked up by another good team.

That would be irresponsible to form a team, lock them out from another good team they can potentially play, and not play them in tournament. He will be ruining the career of these great players who are still in their peak. I do not think NoTail is like that. He built this team to be a champion, and that he will do his best to get as far as possible with this team. I am actually excited to see how they will fair with other good teams out there.

I guess notail will not play this time afaik he said that with ceb this is their last game and after Amar The F kick out with the OG the team Nigma Galaxy get him because we know how does this player really good as offlane, and the news comes that miracle and Kuroky is back for me ATF playing style is more suitable with Nigma aggressive and calm, there's a lot of rumor right now that they will not come with topson this time and keep exploring new team still if topson goes back to OG another carry must need to adjust.
No, he'll play and the team name - Old G has been registered with 5 players and n0tail is on the roster. Well, as for Miracle, he's not going back but instead he'll take a rest and that's why ATF replaced him.

I'm really curious about Heroic and Outsiders' performances in the Blast Premier World Final. Because these two teams had an amazing run in the Major previously and Outsiders made it to the championship. The expectation level from both of these teams will get bigger as a result. Maybe not a championship but a finale would be expected for Outsiders. I don't know if they are strong enough to deal with this pressure. Consistency is not an easy thing for a CS: GO team when it comes to targeting big things.

As we are seeing now, FaZe and Natus Vincere have lost their momentum and they are still unable to keep up a good form. I don't know about Outsiders but I except Heroic to do another good job in this tournament. Maybe this is their time to be the winner of the title while FaZe - Natus Vincere duo are still struggling.

Faze and Heroic have a good performance in the latest Blast Premier iteration so I expect that Faze will try to come back and win it all in the World Finals. I am not expecting much from Heroic right now because they are competing with a substitute which may affect how they will perform in the latter part of the tournament. So, I am putting my bet on Faze. They had a great year, though they slipped recently, I think they can still get their mojo back. They just need to cap their 2022 run with a win in Blast Premier World Finals. That is the best way they could end their year.

In the esl challenger league season 43 tournament, Sangal-BNE faced each other in the match played yesterday. Sangal won the match which ended with very close scores. Both teams did not play a bad game. With small differences, sangal won the match and continued on its way for esl qualification.
Cct north europe beat ence havu 2-0 in the final match and won 22k dollars. When astralis was eliminated from the tournament, ence naturally became the favorite and managed to beat havu in the final.
I was watching the Infero game. Sangal was doing very well, then I stopped watching the match when OT was left. I guess I'm tired of watching OT on maps in Sangal matches. I actually wanted to watch the game on the Ancient map. Anyway, Bad News Eagle team is a tough team to not be underestimated and Sangal managed to eliminate them, congratulations. I know many of the players in the BNE team from FPL. As a team, I think they will achieve success in this team over time.

Natus Vincere are planning to bring a backup player to the Blast Premier World Final. He is an academy player whose name is npl. They are planning to do this to create some competition for sdy. Because his performance hasn't been very impressive for a long time.

I think this is a good call because Natus Vincere can fill Boombl4's place with a much more skilled player than sdy. I don't know about npl much. Maybe he would be a stand-in for some time until they make a big signing. They deserve a credible IGL to do better in future tournaments. Because there is a significant level of drop in their performance lately.
It would be fair to say that Navi has been on the decline lately, and this is a move made for it. Players will do their best to perform more, not to be a bench. I think the substitute should be in every team and should be replaced with bad performers. Of course, not for a one-time bad performance, for example, if he did under 0.8kd for 3-4 maps in a ''blast tournament'', of course that player should be benched.

Took a bet on DPC on EHome and as soon as I placed the best , they started to lose lmao...what a start in Dota2 gambling for me after TI ...so I guess I will have to wait and maybe play a few games myself to see how the meta changed after TI because the meta is not what it used to be 1 month ago.
My bet yesterday lost. I've bet for Fnatic and Army Geniuses and obviously, I went to Fnatic as they've got a stronger roster but guess what? They've lost the game and not just once but straight 2-0 in favor of AG. With some updates that have happened recently, there will be a new meta.
Have you seen the Razor bloodstone meta? Dang, this build-up on roster for the first time I've seen it. Surely, a new odd but working meta for most players and teams now.

We rarely see six-player rosters have success but I agree it's a good temporary solution and I hope they get some good results knowing that it's barely working with sdy so far.

Since Miracle is said that he's taking a break, ATF is the one to replace him. Yes, ATF will play pos 1 for Nigma.
Looks like the rumors are accurate on that one.

A lot of new players coming into DOTA and the old players taking a break from DOTA. It will be an exciting season. We have to watch out these new players because they usually bring new strats to the game that the old players failed to show. There are lots of DOTA players that are straight from rank to Pro that is very successful. VP might have the right idea to get fresh players to bolster their lineup. If properly guided, they can be a good asset to the team.

Good to know that ATF landed in a good team after he separated from OG. He is performing quite steadily in OG and have great highlights. Hopefully, he will fit with NIGMA.
Actually, there really are a lot of talents worldwide but some aren't just exposed yet because they're not yet discovered by a talent scout or a captain.

Well as for ATF, he's now AMMAR the friend.

Expect that there will be more roster locks and announcements by today and tomorrow because it's less than 2 days for the deadline for each team to send their rosters and lock it.

Yeah, it's not yet official on who's going to be the one remaining for the Old G but it's said that it's going to be Ceb.

I thought Topson is playing with Team Liquid replacing Matumbaman. What is the purpose of this group, is it another official DOTA team qualified for DPC season or is it just a group of Old OG members?
It's actually a team, registered for this season. That's also what we thought of but it seems there's a change of plans, it's like a reunion to them. Jerax is free and the same goes for ana, so what if they come back all together and play again.

If this is an official team then they'll have to kick no one and mss soon.

IF this is a DOTA group, then NoTail is finally coming out of DOTA break. It is a year since he played competitive DOTA, it will take a while before he gets back to speed and competitive again. I thought he would never go back to PRO dota since he seems to be enjoying blogging and his free time.

It will be exciting to watch old OG group on competition again. And I wonder how they will fair against the young OG right now.
Well, it's itching to just watch the competitive scene if Johan thinks that he's still got the clutch together with a good team that has a chemistry.

The other team that I think is strong based on their roster is the Xtreme gaming.
