I must say PGL wallachia looks promising and I'm curious if my city Bucharest will host the show here because we have tons of location we can do it + PGL is from Romania. I also love the fact that all the top tiers teams from the world are in the qualification process + the ones who were invited and that means this tournament will be important in prize but also in points.

If I recall, there has been several tournaments on Bucharest and yeah this is going to be another one. As for now this is listed as an offline tournament in Bucharest so you will be able to watch it in your city. I dont know what PGL actually means but they were the organizers for The International 2023 as well so this is going to be huge.

Atleast on this tournament, we wont be watching double group stage which is kinda boring. A single group stage then priceed to playoff is the best format on dota2 !

So a question here, anyone knows why am I losing all the time lol  Roll Eyes. Been losing shit tons ever since late december 2023 until now. It all happens on dota2 and now it seems cs2 is also taking up on my curse lol. Well I hope things are going to be much better for me on the PGL major playoffs, I will still bet on -1.5 on both Team Spirit and Team Vitality on the playoff though

Bad luck really tags along with me as well and it goes on like that for a long time. I don't know maybe changing the betting habits would be some help. It helped me once when I started to make more different bets. For example do you bet on map handicap mostly? Sometimes even a huge favourite in a BO3 loses a map and shatters the dreams of the bettor.  Sad

I hope both of us can have a good run of bets during playoffs.  Grin  Betting on map handicap -1.5 is really stressful for me so I guess I would bet on sides and look for other options.

I had high hopes for Miracle and Nigma to actually make it to DreamLeague but after seeing the entire series they didn't deserve to qualify because no matter how much you can farm and no matter how well you're doing it , if you don't have a complete vision of how to make a team-fight , then all that farm is for nothing. Exactly that happened in 3rd map where Miracle with AM farmed for 40 minutes just to die without a buyback...

I made a bet with a friend that Nigma will lose this match. As long as they have Kuroky actively playing and drafting, Miracle and Sumail will not be effective as their strategies will always be static and can be easily countered. Kuroky needs to quit playing and not hinder his players' hunger to win tournaments. Countless times has he jumped in trying to initiate as a Mirana for what? Also, their teamfights are a mess. They let the damage dealers be free to do what they want to do while getting their supports picked off by a Techies. It's a shame how a great team like Nigma falls down to teams that aren't experienced as they are just because of one single weak link that refuses to admit he's the problem.

Team Vitality should be able to win 2-0 today so yeah this should be an easy pick like yesterday unless of course shit happen again.

For the first time in Turkish CS history, a team reached the quarterfinals of a Major tournament. Maj3r is really stubborn this time, doing everything to win the tournament. Maj3r's game against VP was incredible. I must say that it was an unexpected performance from an IGL. It is difficult to predict how far they will go in this tournament this time, but defeating the last 3 major champions in the 4 matches he played, he managed to show that he wanted to win the tournament.

Yes, we are in the quarter finals of PGL Major now!  Cheesy

This is just an unbelievable success for Eternal Fire. I was thinking like our future would be decided by the 5th game after having a W/L record like 2-2. However especially after destroying FaZe on Overpass by 13-1 I was in big shock. Right after that I hoped to see to use this momentum to beat Virtus.pro and here we are!

The team performance is at an amazing level now and I hope we can maintain it in the playoffs as well. The playoffs start on Thursday and our opponent hasn't been decided yet.

It would be incredible if we even win the Major.  Roll Eyes

Maj3r has always been hungry for wins. Alongside Xantares, they were always wanting to get a major for the longest time. Currently, I think he's one of the better IGLs since his calls are consistent, and their strategy is working as a team even when faced against stronger enemies. He's also a filling the role of woxic or xantares as entry fragger if need be in order for the team to adjust to other strats. He's not the best in aiming when compared to his teammates but boy he's good in shot calling and putting a lot of confidence in his team.

So well deserved for Eternal Fire! Awesome performance as a team , great mentality to approach games , massive talent within squad , great coach ...all of this lead to this moment for Eternal Fire and I also believe they will do well on elimination stage where most likely a big crowd will cheer for them as underdogs.

Now , we do have G2 who are currently 1-1 with Ecstatic but 3rd map seems to be a winning one for G2 after starting 0-4 on Anubis.  Grin Grin

It looks like your bet lost. But it could have really won though. Spirit just couldn't manage to win on Nuke. Their performance on Ancient and Mirage was really impressive.  Smiley  It was a nice try anyway considering that Spirit have really been on the rise for a while. They are shown as the 2nd best team in HLTV rankings.

Yeah I lost that one and it was only less than 10 minutes after I placed that bet. It was live betting though but yeah too bad, if only they won the 1st map then pretty sure thats going to hit. In fact Team Spirit was already leading on the 1st map, they let it slip from their hands and yeah when Navi took that lead, I know its not going to end well for me

Lets try another one today

Eternal Fire takes on Virtus Pro.Both teams won their chosen maps 13-6 and the match went to the decider map.Eternal Fire's woxic hasn't performed well so far.I can't understand how he can perform so poorly in this tournament even though he is more experienced.2019 The 12th best player of the year should not perform this badly in a major tournament. In Virtus Pro, players had almost equal number of kills, while in EF, Xantares and unexpectedly maj3r emerged as the top fragger.I hope EF will win on Inferno map and make it to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Congratulations to fellow bettors who YOLO to Aurora team since they are bring down to Lower bracket earlier by Geek Fam on Dreamleague S23 SEA Closed Qualifier. I still believe that they are still the Strongest team on SEA as they are the previous Talon. Despite many top player on PH that already play on PH like Abed they still can’t beat the Talon Line-up.

They manage to complete a lower bracket impossible run after sweeping all the team that they faced including the grand finals and a rematch against GeekFam.  What a solid profit!

Hopefully 23Savage will find a team from Europe to carry because at this point Liquid should think carefully if they want to keep Mickey as their carry or simply try to get 23savage in the summer because so far Aurora made it clear they want to win a trophy with this current line-up.

I’m not updated on the players stats but I think 23 is already comfortable with his teammates on SEA since they are dominating the region compared when he will go on EU which has better strong team than SEA. But having the position 1 on Liquid will surely a good move for him since Liquid is pretty decent despite Zai already leave since 33 is much better replacement for the offlane.

Meanwhile , Tundra managed to defeat Entity in a Bo3 and I'm not sure if Wattson really believed when he said he is in his best form or if his teammates are really 2-3 levels below his style because DM, NoOne are bringing nothing new in this squad besides big ego's. If Entity won't figure a way out to actually put Wattson in a position where he can carry , I think he might leave in summer as well.

Yeah, they definitely have different game style. Player from the region of Noone and DM usually have different play style. This is the reason why DM is useless too on OG and less impact on late game because they have different objective in the game.

I didn't expect Eternal Fire to beat Faze, but after a good start against Vitality, I must say that their chances of going 3-0 have increased. They played a good game against Mouz, but they couldn't do what they wanted in the last round.I must say that they definitely have a chance to turn that match into an overtime game. We have to say that the 13-1 win against Faze was a scare both for the team and for the other teams. We didn't think that anyone would expect such a result from Eternal Fire in this match.Wicadia's play completely confused Faze. This kind of gamebreaking probably ruined all of Karrigan's tactics.

Switching to cs2 for now. Well I made this bet when Team Spirit was leading the map with decent point lead then somehow everything seems to be sliding away from them. Currently 13-15 on the favour on Navi

I was really surprised with the result of the Eternal Fire v FaZe match. We beat FaZe by such an overwhelming score like 13-1.  Shocked

I never expected us to be this dominant against the best team in rankings. This is a big step taken to qualify for the playoffs. In 2 hours we are going to face Virtus.pro. They also have 2 wins so the winner is securing the playoffs. I hope that we can win and move on to the quarter finals.  Roll Eyes  This time I'm seriously thinking about betting on Eternal Fire to win @2.1.

Dota 2:
Navi finally managed to make an appearance at a Major after 2-4 years. They had to beat Virtus Pro, who were favs to win the match to get to Dream League. On the other side of the world, NA Qualifiers just ended in a thrilling 3-2 win to Shopify Rebellion who beat Nouns who made a valiant effort and were leading in game 5 but just couldn't push through.

Wait a minute, am I seeing this that Nigma.Galaxy is competing in the PGL Wallachia Season 1 under the region of Western Europe? They are now at the open qualifier #1 and I see that the other regions are there but there is no MENA. I think that this is a special case that they have been included on WEU since they were once there before moving to MENA and since there is no MENA, they've been moved to WEU just for this qualifier.

Its an online qualifier though so it doesnt really matter but the downside on this would be the Ping that you have to play with. There is probably slight delay if you are in MENA region while playing on WEU region so thats the downside that most teams wouldnt want so most teams would probably avoid something like this. As for this, I think they are desperate on doing it especially because there isnt any MENA qualifiers

Anyway, they lost though. Probably they could qualify to closed qualifier from open qualifier#2

Just watched the replays and it's very awful on the side of Team Spirit. They were so good in the first few minutes of game 1 but eventually fell off when Malady and Yuragi started making moves. Larl obviously cannot carry the whole team, and Yatoro is mostly caught at the wrong place and at the wrong time. I wouldn't really feel motivated to play if this happens continuously. Just imagine being decimated by a new roster against your team that's been playing for months.

Hopefully they bounce back, but I'm pretty sure they're demoralized and demotivated at best.
They have bounced back agaist Night Pulse but 1win has ended their journey in the lower bracket. Now, this DL on the EEU is starting to see the end of this grand finals and as of typing this; the current score is 2-1 in favor of Virtus.Pro and they're against Navi. This debut of having sanctity and yuragi seems to have a good result and one more game and they're now qualified to the main event which is also an online tournament but with a prize pool of $1M.

Aside from that, its still pretty early to conclude that they are out of DreamLeague already, they could still get through the grand final from the lower bracket and I believe even if they actually play against Navi again then this time it wont be an easy 2-0 for Navi

Well I guess its now over for Team Spirit and yeah it seems we might either see a new roster on this or perhaps there could be a new patch in the upcoming months that will help team get back in their form

Larl obviously cannot carry the whole team, and Yatoro is mostly caught at the wrong place and at the wrong time.

Well Lard actually made silly mistake on the 3rd map by splitting when the rest of the teams were on the Roshan Pit so that actually cost them that 3rd map. Stupid decision by whoever made that call

Individual skills are still different from being in a good team that's full of chemistry and synchronized with consistent communication.

Aurora is just too strong and good thing that they didn't choked on the finals because that's one of their syndromes in the big tournaments. Well, just good luck on them in the main event of this DreamLeague Season 23.

The next regions will also have their representative.
