Where's the hype on this thread guys? Berlin Major is now in the grand finals. The two teams are:
  • Team Liquid
  • Gaimin Gladiators
With the history of these two teams, Team Liquid didn't beat them from the last major that they faced together and that was during the Lima majors.
For the first map, there's Pudge + Alche + DS for Team Liquid while for Gaimin Gladiators, they've got typical heroes and with a Terrorblade as carry.
Team Liquid looked a bit off this tournament and still they were able to make it to grand final. That being said Gaimin Gladiators looked good in all matched and I don't see a way for Liquid to win today. I took GG @1.6 after few minutes of the first map, don't know what were the odds before it started but I fell like realistic odds should have been something like 1.4.
I've been enthusiastic that they'll be the ones to stop GG. Yes, they did win but just one time to them, and then the rest is history and another victory for GG.
You're right and you're feeling exactly was the outcome of this match and they did win the grand finals making this tournament another easy tournament for them since all of those past majors.
Who do you think can stop GG from the next tournaments? While, it's already announced that the next TI12 will be in Seattle, USA.

Another looking easy win for GG.

Well, there's still some 1 win from Team Liquid and from all of those matches that they've got, this is the only one win from them against the Gaimin Gladiators.

The rest, they're all losses and that means a lot to them and also for GG. We can say that they're the strongest team right now and hopefully they won't choke on the TI.

I feel the Vibes of Tundra last year on them. The only difference was they are very consistent when Quinn added on their roster. Quinn is carrying more the team compared to Dyrachyo because he always dominate the mid lane on the lane stage while still have a strong finish on late game.

So far he is the best mid laner that even Nisha is having a hard time to match him. I think they will not choke because they can easily adapt on the new patches. Maybe having an incomplete roster is the only way for them to choke assuming they will continue to play like this.

GG wins on Dota2 ESL Major. Liquid doesn’t have a chance to win game 4 to tie the score. I can’t believe that they let GG pick all the global presence hero like Wisp and Underlord while they doesn’t have one even a sustain heroes. They only have frost armor and that’s all. They can’t take down easily even the support of GG because of wisp sustainability.

Still Team Liquid do a nice job here from close to early elimination to grand finals. GG is just much better overall and very consistent. Quinn is very strong on this team. Supports works well with his aggressiveness.

In LOL at MSI we have now EU vs Korea and China vs USA so we can expect Korea and China to advance. It played out so bad for EU this time around but we can expect some suprises from them.

EU vs Korea isn't going to be easy at all. G2 are going to face Gen.g and MAD Lions are going to compete against T1. Both of these European teams can have serious difficulties in these series. Because Korean teams are still playing at an incredible level. Normally T1 are the team at top in Korea in my opinion. But Gen.g proved themselves very strong once again by beating T1 in LCK. So both of these Korean teams can be a big challenge for the Europeans.

If one of these European teams make a surprise maybe it might be MAD Lions as I like their effort more than G2 recently. There are other series like C9 - BLG and JDG - GG. My favourites are BLG and JDG here. As far as I know BLG don't have any MSI experience but there is still a big difference in game between them and C9 now. GG look very weak against JDG which are the LPL champions.

Yeah, Team Liquid game play is very inconsistent due to the new patch but they have a pretty good run on their low bracket journey after the group stage. I think they already adjusted and in momentum right now even if GG is already ahead by 1 game to them. The fight duration of both team decreases each round. I believe they really know well each other for them to have a quick adjustment against enemy team.

I don’t feel that GG will choke here but I believe on momentum so I abstain on this match and just enjoy watching. GL to your bet.

Even South America is now a strong region. SEA is now the weakest.

Talon does not perform the same way as its the era of 23savage and kuku, in this bet I make an all in with the EG after they destroy the old EG which is the Shopify in this series their drafts are really in favor with the Talon in the first game because they have a sustains and initiator but in this game, they got countered with the Underlord and the void chorono they got scared to initiate even though they have the magnus, the reason why they lose the game, in the second game, their drafts are for the early game even kotl are in their side but Storm of C.smile get dominated in the early game losses the series of talon for a 2-0.

Do you mean T1 because Kuku never joined Talon since they announced this organization on Dota2. I agree have a better run to represent SEA than Talon. In general, SEA Dota decreases a lot quality because we can’t use the patches properly. SEA is always late on adapting to the patches because teams here are all on the same low level. I really missed watching SEA teams competing international team on equal grounds. So far all SEA teams are inferior to international team. Even South America is now a strong region. SEA is now the weakest.

On the EG vs Talon. It’s understandable that Talon got swept since EG is on different level. They are out drafted and outplayed many times.

I won my multi, all the major teams win and not a day for underdogs.

Good for you, meanwhile I lost all of my betslip since yesterday Roll Eyes. I guess I have been having bad day after all and its not even limited to esports, I lost on every other sports that I bet on

Fun fact, I have been so much in love with high odds parlay for a few days therefore yeah my betslip consist of those illogical bet that I put in because of the high odds then somehow backfire to me

Guess I'll just stick with usual bet instead

Yeah EG is a slight favourites but watching how Talon actually kicked PSG.LGD out of The Major, I think they have slightly better chance to win

We've been playing games like this and that position 5 medusa should have just built as a carry as well when he's able to gather some items and gold during the mid-late game. That will give OG the help that Ursa(OG) needs against Naga(EG) and AM(EG) that are too tough and tanky.
Shifting position 5 to a hard carry is very hard to do even on late game. OG will be lacking support utilities to sustain carries. This is only possible if position 1 and 2 is capable to sustain of their own which is not on OG case. They just use Medusa Split shot to determine the real Naga instead of using it as the real carry of the game.

I didn’t watch the game but wth with this pos 5 Medusa. The split shot is really a good counter but the sustain is what they are lacking on this game. AM is a hard counter for Medusa which means her mana shield is useless especially on late game when AM has an items.

I’m surprised OG managed to extend this game to almost 1hr match without a sustain and pure damage. EG doesn’t have sustain but they Song for a complete reset or reposition.
That's what I'm saying and there's no split shot on that Medusa and there's really no help in damage because the items on that medusa were all for help and support.
Well, the game is done and it's managed to reach game 3 but that game 3 was a joke for OG. They looked like little children playing against veterans.
Well done for EG and they're going to advance to face Team Liquid for the top 4 and moving forward to top 3. Now, the game is 9pandas and Gaimin Gladiators.

EG takes game 1 against OG.
Anti-Mage mid for EG while position 5 Medusa for OG. There's the clutch of the game when OG was winning on those last clashes but the location of those clashes happens in the Outpost of EG.

In CSGO the Paris Major is around the corner and we are having the first matches for the 8 spots in the Legend Stage happening on Monday. The matches are best of 1, so the teams need to give everything and can't make any major mistakes. There are still a few weaker teams in the tournament which leads to some pretty one sided matches where I hope to make some small save returns. One of the most sided match will be G2 vs TheMongolz, where G2 should be winning this match easily. And FaZe is going to play against Monte which should be a clear win for FaZe. The two closest matches on Monday will be OG vs ENCE and NiP vs MOUZ, the teams are very equal in strength and the matches could be going either way. I am going with ENCE and MOUZ for the two matches but only in a small size to not risk too much. Better to save some money for the big matches happening during the major.

Aster vs Liquid now live. Liquid already took game 1 but the fight is so intense from early to late game. Aster has the kills advantage on mid game while Liquid has gold advantage. Both picks are good especially the sustain on both sides that makes the clash last longer.

Aster has the chance to win the game if Monet is not afraid on dying. He is not committing too much on clash and run whenever he feels low using his ss even though he can still take down some hero before he died. This is what Notail trying to point out on Aster. Their carry is afraid to die rather than to contribute damage until the end to give a team wipe.

I bet +1.5 on Aster. I hope they can manage to get at least 1 game because game is very close to an even match.

Hopefully, GG vs OG series ends earlier so I can stay awake since my bet is for Tunda playing against 9 Pandas.
It really ended too quick and it was just like abonus round for GG. Well, since mc is playing on OG. The famous quote about lower bracket has been applied to OG. And that is, "upper bracket is for b****s".

While it is currently on first map between Tundra and 9pandas. I like 9pandas to win this match up so that ramzes and quinn will face each other on the stage and having that game face.  Tongue

But before these, they've already been on the elevator at the same time and ramzes said that quinn was just facing the floor.

Yeah, that was real quick by GG. So well see how it goes. I still believe OG will win over the winner of EG vs Talon and enters the top 4.

Wish granted mate. We see a rematch between 9 Pandas and GG who just went to draw in the group stage. This time bo3 and with higher stakes with the winner earning a slot to the finals. I haven't seen an outright but it seems like GG is the favorite to win again another major.

Quinn's face reminds me of my friend in college. Silent and nerdy but wears metal clothes. We used to play DOTA overnight in an internet cafe with some of our friends. I only heard before that Ramzes is a bully. I didn't know he and Quinn have bad blood.

Brazy Party tournament has finished. Astralis and Cloud9 were the teams reaching the final round. Cloud9 managed to eliminate their opponent despite starting 1-0 behind after a loss on Overpass. But this was still a good sign for Astralis. Because they have been in pretty bad shape for a long time. device's coming back to the team hasn't changed much thing either. Taking a 2nd position is a good success for them in this tournament as a result.

I really missed to see Astralis' old performances. They have already leave their prime time behind maybe but who nows. Maybe one day they will be reborn again.
