Is someone winning in this Major ? Everywhere I look on twitch chat , most of them are "322 " or "mafia call" and to be honest , there are a lot of sus games in Berlin Major and the prize pool is not so attractive and that is why I do expect trows and stuff.

Liquid slowly becomes a last patch team and this new patch is a reality check for them as they cannot figure out the patch yet and more than that , hey are picking combos from last patch..same as Talon who will end up straight to airport today.

Meanwhile , look at PSG , they missed a major and now they are dominating alongside team Aster.

Currently just watch between the match of Team Liquid vs LGD, this game is really intense with the both teams in the last Ti but of course with different players right now they are still having an adjustment with the maps and the drafts of the meta, in this game 1 LGD still making a risk of choosing medusa against morpling well this is really good pick but again the medusa in this draft is really squishy as CM right now because of having a 720 hp only without items can easily burst with morpling and MK diffusal blade but still they manage to win the game 1, this game 2 they are now desperate with their draft because of the Void and the TB picks but this time team Liquid manage to get the 1-1 on this ESL.

Finally, I bumped into this thread again after I started to random my posts in different threads in the last weeks. I feel bad for SEA nowadays. They turned worse. Maybe the 3 slots should be given to other regions like SA or CIS.

SA is the same in SEA. I think WEU is worthy to have more slots because they have most of the team that is dominating the Dota2 scene. The competition on that region is very tough that is why they developed a very strong gameplay which other region can’t beat during majors tournament. SEA is indeed a thrash since the quality of Dota is already decreased because we can’t use the meta properly.

Well, BetBoom managed to stay unbeaten so they continue inside the top 4. Execration seems to have acclimatized after a very bad day 1 and day 2. They had a draw with TSM yesterday and they won game 1 against BetBoom. BetBoom is in danger of the upper bracket if they cannot get a draw here. And Execration is now a hopeless team so they should just give it all now without pressure.

Their remaining games is match against Exe and LGD that both struggling. They can secure an upper bracket position if they will manage to tie or win all those remaining games. Liquid can still have a come back here because those 3 remaining games for them is very manageable to sweep.

Execretion is terrible so far, so betting against them seems profitable as well.

they will be playing against TSM tomorrow. Im not sure, both are terrible imo and I might just go for draw on this one.

This weekend is a CSGO online tournament - Brazy Party 2023 - is happening with some nice matches. It's a good opportunity to bet on some one sided matches. Unfortunately BIG my favourite German team is already out in the last place. The first match today is going to be GamerLegion vs ENCE, where ENCE is a much stronger team and should take that game easily. Then there will also be Astralis playing against SAW today which is going to be a good win for Astralis. The match Sprout vs Imperial is going to be much closer and I will probably not bet on it as it could go either way. With FalleN in the team I try not to bet against him, he has so much experience that he could turn around a game on a good day. And the last match of the day will be Cloud9 vs 9INE, which should be won by Cloud9, they played really well during the Rio IEM and are a stronger team if they don't choke again.

That being said I feel like Shopify Rebelion, Bet Boom and 9 Pandas are playing very good DOTA

Add OG on the list, then there we have it the favourites team to bet on ( aside from GG and Tundra obviously ). Idk though, the two stand in on OG makes the team looks so much better compared to their original roster

Liquid does not look invincible like in the old patch so maybe betting against them sweeping is also a good call.

3 draws so far for them. I really hate BO2 group stage though as everything could go south in BO2. Aside from that, some teams could be testing out new draft on the 1st or 2nd day of the group stage therefore the results are usually pretty weird but Liquid might start pumping up on their remaining games if they want to get the upper bracket slot

They are on a losing streak, 0-8. I thought that they can at least get some wins from their recent matches but they're all zero and beaten up. Yeah, looks profitable if going to bet against them. But I'll try to avoid it by tomorrow since they'll be against TSM another team that's on a losing streak but compared to them, TSM got 1 win overall in their matches unlike Execration, they've won nothing.

My EG bet should've been a win if it weren't for that unusual draft, instead of going for a traditional mid hero they prefer to go for a Rubick mid during the first game which ended up going in TSM's way.
It would be much better if they've assigned Silencer as their mid instead of Rubick. Well, they're still in the experimenting phase I guess and if I'm right, this is the first time that they've got a loss having dark seer.

I agree Team Liquid looking less formidable so far and the bookies aren't convinced that the other teams can take at least one map. I'll probably give it a go on their remaining games.

Gosh both ended up as a draw which is kinda unexpected. I had extra stake on GG though and there goes my hundred bucks  Roll Eyes

I guess TSM was just that bad huh. Anyway, both MC and Sumail was playing incredibly well though I guess they are both still top tier despite sticking with Nigma for so long
I also didn't expect both series to finish on a draw and the series I avoided is the one that went 2-0.  Tongue

Here's what I have for today though, the TSM bet is already a no-brainer while OG vs Spirit seems to be heading towards a draw since OG got a good start while Team Spirit is continuing their trend of splitting maps. More confident about the EG bet than the draw when TSM is back to their losing ways.

Though games to call so far, I had some success with taking +1.5 handicaps on underdogs but nothing substantial so far. Only "certain" bets I feel confident to call are usually when 2 teams are about even value and then taking slight underdog +1.5 but those odds are @1.35 so nothing special.

That being said I feel like Shopify Rebelion, Bet Boom and 9 Pandas are playing very good DOTA while they are almost always not favored so I will try to force them a bit in the group. Liquid does not look invincible like in the old patch so maybe betting against them sweeping is also a good call.

Is anyone following the Brazy Party 2023 CS:GO tournament? It's not a tier 1 event, but it's entertaining enough to pass the time as we wait for the major. Several top 20 teams are participating, including Astralis, BIG, C9, and ENCE. Today, the opening matches for groups C and D are Astralis vs. GL and C9 vs. Sprout, respectively. Based on their performance in IEM Rio last week, Cloud9 should easily breeze past Sprout, but the odds for them are so low that it's probably not worth betting.

On the other hand, the Astralis vs. GL match should be a closer contest. The odds currently favor Astralis at 1.5, but I think GL has a solid chance to pull off an upset. I'll be placing a bet on them and hoping they bring their A-game against Astralis.

Standing is 0-1 in favor of BC but this 2nd map seems to be gonna be taken by them.

Watched that game, they were basically throwing that 1st map. It could have been easy 2-0 for them
They've won the 2nd map and yes, it could have been a 2-0 for them. Day 1 has ended and just as we're talking about the SEA region, all of the three SEA teams didn't ended well especially Execration. It's said that they're low morale after this day but it's not yet the end of their journey. Yes, this may be the first day and could be a deciding factor to gain confidence for all of the matches made. But then, we still have 4 days remaining left until the group stage ends and that's a lot of days and a lot of things can happen for most of them.

I got the same bet plus Team Liquid, I told myself I wouldn't bet pre-live but I can't resist the promo from 500casino as they're offering extra winnings on the teams that would finish the groups.

Glad that I made something extra from picking ex HR though for 3x odds, I guess TSM was just that bad huh. Anyway, both MC and Sumail was playing incredibly well though I guess they are both still top tier despite sticking with Nigma for so long

Kinda reminds me on how @tomamhawk9 always update this stuff. Wondering how he is doing rn

SEA is considered one of the weakest regions and that's why the confidence that you're feeling about a SEA team like Execration is bearable.

I should have added disclaimer onto my last statement about that region. If it was Talon than I'd be happy to bet on them considering they were pretty good on the last Major but probably not on the other teams
Speaking of Talon, we're on the same thinking on them. I think that they're the strongest team on the SEA region right now and as of typing this, they're having a match against beastcoast on the Berlin Major. Standing is 0-1 in favor of BC but this 2nd map seems to be gonna be taken by them. It's first time again to see an omniknight that's doing well on such major and take note, this omniknight is mid and played by mikoto which the ones that I usually see in tournaments plays the pos 5.

I'll be skipping GG's series against PSG.LGD though as I still don't know how teams from the other region would adapt to the new patch.

I made another risky bet, taking Ex- HR to win against TSM. Nothing particular in my mind, I think the odds are great and thats all. To be fair its a new patch so basically its a fresh start for all top teams in the Major

Obviously GG to win, its a no brainer. We know how good they were in Dreamleague so thats pretty much a guaranteed there and I am never convince with the SEA region team, therefore Im taking PSG.LGD to win as well. I also got a single slip on GG, thats how confident I am with that bet though

SEA is considered one of the weakest regions and that's why the confidence that you're feeling about a SEA team like Execration is bearable. But with the matches and the progress that I've seen with them, rock bottoming up to redemption that they've got and managed to get into the international stage again is one of the good progresses that this team has taken with the set of new and younger talents that they've got. And in terms of experience, without a doubt that PSG.LGD is taking the lead and advantage between the two. Still, it's a team game and one mistake of one can change the entire game's result and that's why Execration still has the chance to win despite being low. And regards to GG and EG, it's the same situation as the first said match. Good luck with your bets though.

It was a really lovely run in the IEM Rio 2023 and Vitality beat Heroic by 2-0 in the grand final.

As you know the finals are played with BO3 format from now on. BO5 seemed nice to many people maybe but I think that it wasn't an ideal format. Because it was too long and many people were getting bored after watching until a point. Anyway coming back to the grand final, I would have expected Heroic to win a map also. Inferno was picked by them in fact but their bad performance in the first half made things difficult for themselves. Vitality were really consistent on both maps and they surely deserved the win.

ZywOo became the MVP of the tournament. Vitality won $100k + a ticket to the next IEM Cologne as well - which is going to take place in this year. The prize pool is going to be $1m in that tournament.  Grin
