Are we also going to see that Zeus that Micke has been practicing in the pub as a pos1 with that shard/chain lightning talent? That's interesting and I haven't seen someone has played that on this new update and on this major.
Hopefully not because i've seen it in my pubs and the hero is vulnerable in team fights like drow or sniper but IMO worse since the right clicks don't dish out that much burst damage. I still think Zeus is better off going for the usual magic build.
It didn't happen but still Team Liquid going to face Team Aster tomorrow.

What a heck of game between Talon and LGD on game 2. It goes on 72 minutes which is equivalent to 2-3 games in total. Good job on LGD on prolonging the game since they are already left behind by exp and gold on early game due to Talon aggression but they manage to keep up and manage to even the game by being patient on farming Sven core items before he enter on clash. Nothingtosay is one of the reason why LGD manage to recover because of tankiness of his timbersaw.

I bet -1.5 on Talon and I’m really frustrated watching the game enter this long game while Talon has a chance to end the game quickly. Sometimes 23savage being scared and keeps farming without realizing the enemy hero is good on late game. I didn’t finish watching since I thought they will lose but I’m glad that they still won in the end. LGD new carry has the moves that can be like Ame with more exposure on competitive scene like this.
Actually it was a one sided match during the early to mid game but then, LGD was too good when they've managed to prolong the game but NTS' timber and shiro's sven isn't enough to stop 23's naga siren. It's too fat and while magnus of zeal did a lot of mistakes, still shown some good plays. But if it was done too early and those mistakes of wrong reverse polarity's, I think that they'll be able to get back too soon.
On the other match, GG made easy two wins against OG. I just can't accept that, LOL. A very one sided match.

Not that confident about my bets today but I still expect these to hit, even with MC pushing OG to their very best I still think this would be a sweep for Gaimin Gladiators. The Tundra series might go to all three maps if they troll their draft but this is just my alternative bet as I would've taken Talon +1.5 if they were available on Stake.

Congratulations on the GG bet. OG doesn’t have a chance to win against GG. The game 1 is close fight but game 2 is a massacre the difference on level of pos 1 and pos 2 of GG to OG is very far. I thought OG can make a difference with this new line-up due to there good performance on group stage but still they are showing subpar performance in the presence of top team like GG.

Yuragi play hide and seek on game 2 like a creeps. He is so careless and relying heavily on doppelgänger despite GG heroes is counter him. The early double kill starts the tempo for GG to dominate the game. I might bet on Tundra for the next match.

2 big matches today. The semi-finals in the upper bracket. After OG's massive win over Team Liquid, they are now matched against one of the most consistent teams in this major. Liquid's really struggling to stay consistent with this new patch. Meanwhile, OG's weird in this major, they're doing well despite having 2 stand-ins. We'll see if their luck and momentum keep going but I guess Gaimin is at a different level.

Hopefully, GG vs OG series ends earlier so I can stay awake since my bet is for Tunda playing against 9 Pandas.

There goes our bet because Liquid screwed up the 1st map. XG was pretty lucky to actually make it to the playoff then we have Liquid that seems to have found their momentum since few days ago in group stage and it seems most sane people would go for Liquid -1.5 but oh well I guess something are kinda unpredicted
Unfortunate loss for us, if only they got a better draft it would've been a 2-0 because they stomped the next two games with ease.

I had huge stake on Liquid -1.5 though thinking that this is an easy 2- for them. This would be funny if Liquid ended up getting knocked out

Surprising Gaimin Gladiator is still performing very despite every team is crumbling to have a very consistent gameplay.
This is because every player is pulling their weight no one is underperforming compared to the other teams like Team Liquid where one or two players would keep on making mistakes like overextending. In Tundra's series yesterday they were limit testing to see how flexible they can go with their hero pool and it caused them to drop a map.

Now that they're in the lower bracket I hope they sweep XG as I have them in a parlay together with Team Aster +1.5 and i'm surprised Team Spirit is this favored because in my view Team Aster is performing at a similar level.
I think the odd was based on their run on the group stages. Team Aster ended up 5th on the group stages while Team Spirit came from 3rd on the group stage and top bracket of the playoffs and then just fell into the lower bracket. Well, the match is on going right now and I'm favoring the line up of heroes of Team Spirit instead of Team Aster but honestly, I want Team Aster to prosper and move to the next bracket.
It's just 8 minutes of the game, 6-3 and this KDA is currently in favor of Team Aster.

Yeah. Odds is based on stats besides Aster is far inferior by Team Spirit in past tournaments. Chinese team is not the power house region since the last year patch. They can’t catch up anymore on western country team especially the WEU and CIS. I think the new patch gave them an edge to be on equal grounds again on western team but let’s see if they can still keep up until the end when everyone is already familiarized with the new patch including the combos.

Thanks to sumail, they are now advancing to whoever will win against Team Liquid and Xtreme Gaming which is the upcoming match. Are we going to see two Chinese teams beating each other or this is for Team Liquid? I think that this is going to be Team Liquid's match but we'll see.

Team Aster takes game 1.

That was likely an easy game for them. Thanks to the early rotation of Axe, CM and KOTL. All of their lanes have won and they're too early to dominate all of them.

Axe was a good counter to Ursa and it can't go near to the lane as it's against Axe. I think Team Spirit should learn from that if their carry don't do well early on its lane, they need to exchange lanes with the others.

Well atleast this looks like you are going to win something. All my parlays got busted today because of SR  Roll Eyes. For some reason I include over 2.5 maps on all of my parlays for the day lol, I was pretty sure that it was going to be atleast 2-1 either way
Thanks  Cheesy  I also had SR in a single bet and they were the first ones to give me a loss. In the first game, it felt like they were on a timer as they were starting to fall off the longer the game drags out. Then in the second game, it was a draft win for 9pandas when SR had to last pick veno offlane.

OG is a different team with these two stand-in, its kinda feel like cheating because two stand-in totally change your whole team gameplay. I actually cant believe that they win against Liquid. Well yeah Liquid is not that favourites anymore ever since the patch changed but OG was awful with their original roster though
Also, Nisha underperformed during that series and MC had so much impact roaming throughout the map not allowing any space for Team Liquid to catch up.

Now that they're in the lower bracket I hope they sweep XG as I have them in a parlay together with Team Aster +1.5 and i'm surprised Team Spirit is this favored because in my view Team Aster is performing at a similar level.

Yesterday it was like that Team Liquid was one of the bottom teams but then they've managed to get to the upper bracket.

Its Liquid though, they are far ahead than many other teams out there so eventually they'll make it to the upper bracket. What really surprised me was that SR was pretty good as well in this Major
SR got pushed down to the lower bracket by 9Pandas and we're starting to see the whole line of the bracketing for this playoffs. Later on tomorrow, we'll see the elimination of the three teams from this tournament.

Congrats! Team Aster won against EG and as well as with BetBoom. There's now a triple tie in the group A and the first one that shall come to the playoffs is Team Aster.

The last game is EG and BetBoom and whoever wins this match which is just a best of 1 match will also join the playoffs while the losing team goes home.

Yesterday it was like that Team Liquid was one of the bottom teams but then they've managed to get to the upper bracket.

Nice win there mate! I actually bet on EG. It was annoying during the first aegis that they just easily gave it up. They would've at least tried to establish their presence near the pit. They knew Aster was only buying time to hold and for their cores to catch up and build items. The moment Aster had the aegis, it allowed them to farm and move with confidence.

Liquid finished strong in the last 2 days of the group stage. They went 5-1. BetBoom would've been in the upper bracket if they didn't lose 0-2 to no-hoper Execration.
I think those moments of Execration, they would have made the elimination on the group stages if they've won all of their games at their last two days.

But it had made Team Liquid convenient and just as the other teams, Team Liquid is now at the lower bracket.

The Copenhagen Flames team announced bankruptcy

Thats big news, they been around years right.    I do have a few of their items so my immediate thought it does not compare to when Titan left CSGO forever, that was within the context of losing their reputation and sponsorship ie. non viable business.   Here as I understand bankruptcy law a company may cease but also sell on the assets of the former company which means as a trademark the Flame may rise again.  Hence I do think the price spike would be a sell event or signal imo.

Maybe its most probable Copenhagen Flames do not return but they might easily if in demand and the brand has worth still, accounting and finance is only juggling someone can pick it back up and start it all over again is a possibility.

Also I see the rise of Cadian is complete he is comparable as a pheonix from the ashes in that he was first known in a major 9 years and fell back & some will have written him off; the Heroic team makes #1 rank in the world which is kinda amazing when we have Navi and Astralis quite able to contend but at present not at their peak it would seem.   Great accomplishment for them, I had thought Cadian would be a player who went to commentary I thought of him like ex-vp as good players retire so he fooled us all wp to him.

I won my multi, all the major teams win and not a day for underdogs.

The MSI tournament is starting on League of Legends as you know. The first matches are starting tomorrow and the last two matchups in the picture will be the first ones. In this round the matchups are played according to BO3 format. Among these teams I think the most impressive team is G2 Esports. They can really be the nightmare of their opponents in this bracket.

As you know we have newly left behind a really lovely tournament, EMEA Masters. It was a really big success for the Turkish team IW Cats as there wasn't a this much successful team in Turkey in such tournaments for a long time. Now I assume that people will be eyeing the MSI even more than that as it is one of the biggest organizations on League of Legends.

Which team is your favourite in this one?

The Copenhagen Flames team announced bankruptcy and with this bankruptcy, the major stickers on steam started to rise. I can say that the cheapest copenhagen flames sticker has increased about 6-7x in one day. Of course, the team's bankruptcy is an indication that it can no longer be found in the cs:go arena. This means that people are now stocking up quickly, thinking that the sticker will increase in value. There was an incredible demand and price increase as soon as the announcement was made.

Gross, if only SR didnt threw the 1st map up then pretty sure it would have ended over 2.5 maps. Glad that I bet on a single for GG-1.5.

Surprise of the day could be OG against Liquid, I feel like Liquid hasn't been really clinical in Berlin and my bet is on OG to take at least a map, even though I think they can actually win today.

Going with the GG sweep as well plus Tundra for a total of 2.53, I should've placed my bet right away after the odds were released because earlier today the initial odds on Tundra ML were sitting at 1.78.

There is a new tournament going on named Brazy Party 2023 on CS:GO lately. Eternal Fire were also there to represent Turkey but unfortunately they couldn't advance to the quarter finals from the group stage. They balanced things by winning against GODSENT after a loss against Apeks. However OG had the last word and pushed Eternal Fire out of the tournament by a 2-1 win.

There is still a long way to go for Eternal Fire now. They have replaced xfl0ud with Wicadia who was in the academy team before. I have heard the reason like there was a problem with the role for xfl0ud. Wicadia will need some time to adapt to the team. He was a solid fragger on some maps in the Brazy Party however playing good as a team is essential.

Abit optimistic on GG here but I personally think they are the favourite to win The Major based on their group stage's performance
I also think the same, if they're not the team winning this tournament then it'd be Tundra because of their current form.

Really, there were odds of 1.78 on Tundra? Damn, that is free money, if only I have seen that I would spam it so much. They are actually my main play for today and I am trusting them even more than GG. GG should win but I am thinking Spirit will take one map.
