i like NEO simple because it was a cheaper investment for me than ETH, however Im surprised to see people mentioning faster transactions using ETH I have found sending neo to be quicker than ETH, Im also a fan of things developed in asia, I believe Asia to be the biggest players in crypto and they will also support there homegrown technologies.. for this reason I like to invest in both chinese and south korean crypto.
Which do you think is better and why?
Of course better ethhereum in my opinion. Because I also invest in ethereum and also believe that ethereum has potential. I'm not interested in NEO. Somehow I like eth more than neo.

Perhaps, but NEO does not differ from other coins, it also sinks under the presing of the market. If the market falls further, then NEO has no chances to reach the top 3.

from the coin neo has already been squeezed a lot, this coin has been raised more than once, but it is still not a competitor to the ether! I think the ether has a very big advantage over others, this is undoubtedly one of the best coins! and the competitor will not soon appear
Etherem, obviously, is now in the first place - by the weight of the network and the number of transactions and users, but Neo has big future. Neo is taking the world by storm.

the comparison between neo and eth coins is very good in the market, both coins provide good price and also the potential in big market. but i see if eth is still the leading coin than neo. I do always believe in Ethereum. Neo is also perspective coin, but ETH will have better perspective this year as it is more widely used.

Does it really matter anymore? Both of them have failed. Ethereum doesn't scale and NEO is centralized and crashes when one of the nodes goes down. Maybe it's time to look for other smart contract platforms.
in my opinion NEO is better because its has zero-fee transactions, has tokens, "ico compatible". its like ethereum but not popular enough to beat it now
To my mind Ethereum is the best. It has a really good potential.
There was a high potential, until the ISO did not start to merge the Etherium. In fact, this coin very strongly reacts to the behavior of the market. 
In my opinion Neo is better than Ethereum.
Despite the fact that neo is chinese eth of course. It has not so big amount of ICOs and it is not so highly spreaded, but I think that it is more like pros than cons of neo. Just imagine what will happen when neo will gain such level of appreciation as eth in the world

I agree with you, ETH has great potential. But it seems to me that NEO will show more growth this year. It seems to me that ETH will be able to show the growth of x2-3, and NEO x7-10. I have invested in NEO part of the capital.
My answer is definitely ETH. I think NEO is not comparable to ETH. Although I know it is called the ETH of China, is an altcoin with government support and potential but for me, ETH is far ahead of NEO. The ETH platform is good and has far more advantages in handling transactions. The support community is also growing all over the world, the potential for ETH development is enormous
NEO is a very good and promising coin, but it does not have a future like that of Ethereum. The ethereum platform is widely developed and many projects are done on it, which make IT development for the real world, this machine cannot be stopped. 
I think that ETH is better because the most ICO's are based on it. But NEO has a big potential and can have strong grow in this year.
Both open source projects, Turing are completed and have wide community support with people catching up for their teams.

I think this is the least likely of the two paths to success. Yes, NEO beats Ethereum on several fronts. But Ethereum already is an established platform. And Ethereum will close the gap with its scaling plans in the future. To overtake Ethereum will be very difficult. However, I do think that NEO has a lot more room to grow, even if it can’t fully compete with Ethereum. Already we’ve seen an influx of ICOs developing on NEO — this will increase. And as it does, NEO’s price will increase. I also believe that eventually the market will support more than one platform. But that doesn’t mean NEO will ever replace Ethereum, especially in the West.
