I like both of them, that's why I invested in both of them. Ehereum is more trusted by the people, much more used for new tokens but NEO is much more scalable, but less trusted. We will see much more ICOs based on NEO token protocol in the future. But as far as I can see NEO is not so different from Ethereum, not really so special to overcome its predecessor.
Ethereum is mature, Neo is immature.
Ethereum made a big rally, Neo is still cheap.
Ethereum looks safer, Neo looks more profitable.
It's your choice, I'd go with Neo.

ETH is solid crypto and really famous, but NEO is the new generation ETH, I don't think it will overtake ETH but it will be a good competitor, in any case this is 2 serious crypot, buy without think too much
Both are very solid and have great potential for 2018. Expect to see them both gain more traction in Market Cap and price. Smart Contracts I believe are one of the best Crypto investments. In the past I have been drawn into various ICO and cryptos based on hype/advertising and then realised I was basically backing projects which had very little reason, and certainly no "urgency" for investors to back them or purchase the coins.
However with NEO and ETH and other smart contracts there is always an immediate need for investors to buy the coin if only to use them to get into new ICO's built on the NEO or ETH smart contract, plus those investors who realise they are in demand and are therefore a good medium/long term hold.

Right now to many ICO's are run on Ethereum network, so ETH is more popular in the moment, but in a year or two i can see NEO being in the same league as ETH, just not right now.
There are both better because everyone has a characteristics ETH is is getting strong now a days and the value was rapidly increasing last year and NEO giving a free gas in our wallet etc. But for me I choose ETH because there is a strong potential in future as we can see the value is getting higher but not this month I predict after February it will increase again the value of ETH.
Ethereum is my favourite but also neo is a good opportunity for buying and hodl!
NEO has a number of well-known advantages - charging of gas for storing NEO, free transactions (except for smart contracts) and others. But now almost all the new ICO go to ERC-20. I think, NEO for a long time can not fight with the etherium on an equal footing. I'm not sure that NEO will be able to handle the number of transactions that the etherium processes. 
I always go for Ethereum for investment because its price is high and stable and it is a very safe.Neo on the other hand is a rising coin, it has potential but it can't compete with the Ethereum.
Which do you think is better and why?
of course I chose ETH because ETH has promising developments such as smart contract and others, while NEO does not seem to be able to make smart contract and its development very slowly, but I have some coin nem and ETH to save and I sell when the price is very expensive .
ETH or NEO? I personally would definitely choose Ethereum for investment and other things because the potential of ethereum is great for the price will always go up different with NEO maybe the price goes up but not as fast as Ethereum. Perhaps many people choose ETH than NEO.
Which do you think is better and why?
Neo is a dark horse. I would not be surprised if after some time we hear big news from China about this coin. That's possible it will be the people's coin, no wonder there was a meeting of the government of China and the leadership of the Neo in last year.
eth and neo, I think they will show similar developments as market value, but eth as a project is very strong and unique
These 2 platforms are very successful for investing. NEO is just beginning to develop. Now appeared a lot of ICO on this platform. I think the potential is higher for NEO. Since the price has not yet reached a logical maximum.

I like both NEO and ETH platforms because each blockchain has a different smart contract and I am sure the two will grow together and will attract many investors around the world. NEO and ETH can invest in ICO projects and this is the foundation to help them have more partners in the future.
I think neo because there is more potential now but reliable coin in both they look so similar to me I will keep neo in my portfolio
I thinks I would choose Eth over Neo simply due the number of industry supporters. Both platform has its different advantages but i think ethereum outways neo.
Smart contracts will certainly be a winner. There are plenty of blockchain smart contract platforms, but there is certainly room for more than one to be successful. I don't think it's a winner-takes-all situation. ETH and NEO should both do really well this year, as should NEM.
Ethereum has extraordinary potential, it's bigger that BTC's for sure; I can't say same for all the alts, BUT currently ETH is the most well-known one and other alts are miles away from it currently. It will grow during 2018 for sure.
2018 I think ll be year of smart contrats, Ethereum and Neo ll have big increase at price but for structure Ethereum is the best, but for investment Neo is more wise because of price.
