Neo has more potential to grow, but I`d hold both
Both coins are strong and have a good potential for a further growth . But NEO is following in ethereum footsteps , just on a chinese manner . Ethereum was the first who have created the background for other projects and startups , and they continue developing in this direction . Of course , NEO can gain more xx over a certain period of time then ethereum , because of lesser market cap , so it is probably a better option for a short-term investment . But it is possible for ethereum to double , or even triple cap this year if their developing will run smoothly , so if considering a mid/long term investment ethereum is a good choice.

Which do you think is better and why?
I am very glad these two are around at the same time. To have a porfolio that is more resistant to invidivual coin or tokens value, playing with Ethereum, Bitcoin, NEO and XEM is really marvellous. NEO is technically superior to Ethereum, but ethereum has more acceptance.
for now I prefer NEO because I think more profitable to invest in NEO than Ethereum.

Totally agree. I think that the first currency in the world may be the Ethereum. This can happen already this year, 'cause bitcoin core can drop to $ 8.500, as it's written on different websites

Which do you think is better and why?
i choose ethereum for long term investment than for neo, yes i prefer to eth. eth has smart technology and is in use by many token purses. eth opportunities exceed those of other altcoin opportunities that have spread.
What are you using ETH & NEO for? to sell your bounties and trade your scam tokens? is there anybody using them for something useful? the answer is a NO, I haven't seen anybody in the real world using them for anything other than trading.
Which do you think is better and why?
I'd pick Eth since i'm a long run kinda guy , since it came to enhance bitcoin and revolutionize smart contracts once again .
It has real utilities and i can circulate it through ICOs .
A second reason to invest in Eth , it has 97 Billions of market cap compared to only 8 Billions for NEO , which means fluctuations can potentially be in my favor if it applies to Eth and which will make my investment more profitable .
But if you asked me the same question just a few days ago i'd certainly say NEO since that alt was a much traded one in Asia -where trading volume is the highest comparing to all the world- , but with the latest decisions and threats that Asian countries governments have declared things got messy and all that support to cryptos decreased critically , this could clear up tho , and it doesn't mean NEO hasn't potential or can't increase in value any further ..
I think the two is better. Possible coins in the future. The progress of both coin is look good. Actually this two are in my list of the potentials coins.

Most people would choose ETH to invest, Ethereum was developed to improve Bitcoin, extending its capabilities. The main thing is the development in showing a clear “smart contract”.
Decentralized deals and self-executions are encoded into the blockchain itself. Very potential if you use eth as a long term investment tool.
I read there will be a big Neo conference called Dev Con held in San Francisco on 30th and 31s of January. It will feature a lot of important names from the crypto industry, 2 professors from Stanford etc. You can find the info and the program here: http://devcon.neo.org/. With that many inside-industry persons in the same room at the same time some interesting discussions and announcements can be expected. I believe we have to stay tuned and see where NEO will go from there.

In my opinion, both of them are really good and promising coins. But I think ethereum is much more better in the term of price characteristic. And also I think, ethereum is a really innovative coin.
I think NEO is better. ETH slow transaction confirmation times and a thoroughly congested network.
my answer is simple and I do not want to write millions of words just for my choice. well, I choose Ethereum because him such a superstar in the Altcoin row and the average person using it does not deny the smart contract makes it complete and has many spawned great tokens

Totally agree, I share your opinion. But , however, BTC is a leader NEO is backed by the Chinese government. This has become the most important factor for NEO’s popularity in China, making it China’s first open-source public blockchain project. NEO is also backed by WINGS, Alibaba, and various Microsoft-like giants.
Where the source of this statement. I'm pretty sure there is no official information about it. Surely if it was true it would be huge for crypto market in whole and for NEO.

I'm an Ethereum fan from the start that's why I really support this altcoin. I believe that this is not it's exact height. It will pump up more by the middle of the year. So get ready guys.
