I do not believe that bitcoin is someone or something will happen, as it is the coin founder and all other coins depend directly on it. I've heard about it before, but it didn't happen.

About two years ago we could still believe ETH which it would be the future of crypto because of the transaction level of ETH. But for the time being in September 2018 i think ETH makes me suspicious of that because it drops too much and on this situation second place will not hold on to coinmarketcap. I would say, that bitcoin is digital gold, so why don't you buy both btc and eth?
BTC keeps growing being digital gold and ethereum is new tech used to create smart contracts, collect money for ICOs and so on

Bitcoin and ethereum have a future, but bitcoin still first place for along time. Why? the price is more stable than ETH now.
Bitcoin have a story to make a cryptocurrency famous. Many people know a crypto is "bitcoin". So its hard for Ethereum to beat Bitcoin.
