Most of the answers here are ether. And yes i an ether believer also. I guess this crypto will be successful and achieve what bitcoin has achieve today. Just think of it many times. Bitcoin market price before was just like ether but now if you are going to compare the price goes high that it almost reaches to 9K USD per btc. HOwever, ether has gone also increase this year and now it gone through 600 USD and that is the good thing to hear about ether. SO if you are planning to compare between this two crypto i suggest you go invest in ether as it has a lot of chance to be great in the near future. And i am looking forward for it also since i have the plan to invest in ether.

Ethereum of course, ethereum has bigger usebase compared to ripple and it's smartcontract already used by the majority of icos so they already proved to be useful. Ripple on the other hand is centralized and the user most likely is bank. I also don't like the fact that ripple has too much supply so it's easy to dump the price on the market. Ethereum is better. But if you plan for a long term I would suggest ripple.

I would go for ethereum. I've been a fan of ethereum since then. It established a good reputation since the beginning of it and it became a well-known coin and a 2nd placer, next to bitcoin. Many people are into ethereum and patronizing ethereum. They also been investing to ethereum since it has a good increase in the profit also.
Everyone chooses for himself which of these altcoins is better . But I invest in Etherium and Ripple, I think both have a very good prospect

I would probably prefer ETH over ripple. My opinion ETH more in the know people in ripple appeal. ETH also has a pretty good price and stable in the market. Then ETH is ranked 2nd after bitcoin.
If I have existing money I will invest in both because both coins are potential in market and have more volume like btc and probably it will lead someday in the ranking so I will hold that coins longer and gain profit from it.

Ripple is valuable, but Ethereum is always the first choice in my opinion. Wow I can't believe this is even a question. Ripple is really best for quick, one-time transfers. I don't understand why anyone would actually invest in it. Ripple is a totally centralized currency controlled by banks. You might as well just have them send a wire transfer for you. The technology does not have one one-hundredth the potential of smart contracts.
One day every bank will have their own version of ripple and you will see how easily and obviously it can be copied. I'm not saying the technology won't be used, but that ripple will probably not be the standard. Every bank will want their own.
