Of course,ethereum is the best currency of the world.it is a second king coin for our young generation.it is very good when compared to Ripple.Ethereum has a higher price than Ripple.i advise to buy Ethereum because it's more profitable and its future always bright.Ripple is the coin for pumpers and dumpers.
both coins are good, but because in order to choose one. I prefer Ethereum, because I think the name etereum more popular in comparison with ripple, ethereum price is also better if made a quick trading.kalau for ripple, this coin is also good, but for long-term investments. Far more better to ethereum since ripple is pump and dump coins, ethereum has a great platform that widely used by ICO's and developers. But in ripple might you able to earn good profit if you can read the markets.
Dont even compare ethereum and Ripple .Ripple is centrelized pre mined coin still now apart from speculation or gossip there is no real use case on ripple so dont compare ripple . Ethereum is one of the best coin after bitcoin . Even ethereum technology called as a blockchain 2.0 . So ethereum is always best . Ripple is the coin for pumpers and dumpers.

Ethereum is the best coin after Bitcoin, Ethereum is very good when compared to Ripple certainly better Ethereum, so I think the best option to buy now is Ethereum.
If I do mining then I will choose ripple, because the supply is still a lot. Since I do not do mining then I choose ethereum because the value or price is higher than ripple.

For me I dont know almost nothing about ripple, it seems that ethereum is way more popular and trustworthy, but I can be wrong... need to make more researches
Both are very good coin but the problem ripple has huge supply compared to ETH, till now ripple made many partnerships with the banks but due to high supply the price of ripple is not increasing. ETH is kept increasing because of potential growth and developments.

I think these two coins are just as good and now these two coins are on the list of the best five coins now, if you have big capital buy Ethereum and Ripple would be a big profit.
Although I currently hold some Ripple in my portfolio, and plan on keeping it for the long term as I purchased it when it was much lower, I would say ETH might be the better investment. However (and depending on your investment budget), due to the low price of XRP you could still invest a small amount in XRP and the rest in ETH if those are the only 2 coins you are considering.

Ethereum has a higher price than Ripple. but I like Ripple. because the development of Ripple is quite good and stable. soup and down not too far away. so the level of risk is smaller. 
Both of thm are cheap right now! If you are just looking at the price alone as your parameter for investing, then you should be buying both. Both if your investment stratergy is based on decentralization and possibilities of blockchain technology, then you should buy ethereum alone!

Best Altcoin now, in my opinion, is Ethereum,so between Ethereum and Ripple, I advise to buy Ethereum because it's more profitable, I think the future of Ethereum is better than Ripple.
In my opinion, ETH is better than a ripple, because eth is the best altcoin ever made, and ETH now has many investors, also ETH is the second largest crypto and the biggest altcoin. But they are worth investing because of its stability and scalability.Though they are both Top Altcoins but Ethereum remains a clear winner when it comes to profit.
