Forget the word at all. Airdrops will never bring you the desired profit. You will have to spend too much of your time in order to earn a negligible amount as a result.

In my opinion we should hold the best today despite the low prices but i believe the market will return soon. Altcoins will revive when bitcoin rises.
From my own perspective, decision to either hold or exchange it will be dependent of type of token I receive. If it is a token I believe it has some future prospect I would prefer to jold such but if it is one of these casual coins, I will trade them without any hesitationl

The issue is that we can not predict when the price rises or falls so if we could knew that the price would crash then I would convert my all assets into the USDT.
And if I could knew that the price will go up then I would convert my USDT to Bitcoin and then gain profit by selling them after the price reaches high.

that is indeed true what you say because the coin gets it by hand. but if you get a buy better it is better to hold it until the price of the coin experiences a pretty good price increase, just sell it so you can get the profit you want 
For airdrop's tokens, I prefer to sell them immediately in the exchange since I'm afraid if the price getting down. I guess it needs a long time for the tokens to go up. So, better exchange it if you're not patient to wait.

i will exchange it immediately once i received the coins, and I will use it to buy other good cypto such as ethereum, tron, cardano or maybe eos. I prefer holding top altcoins than any new altcoins.

Some coins could get transfered through huge airdrops, a lot of coins don't have enough coins or scam. 
For me, I prefer to be just holding on it and wait the right time to have value on the market so that I can sell on it, but it depends on its value of my holding. But if there is a reason to let it go by selling on it, I will go on it because I or them need for the financial status. Holding is the best plan at all the time.
I agree with you that with the current situation all in a sluggish situation it's good to hold and where for a few moments until the situation will be good again and it's just waiting for the time, because the prediction of the end of the year there will usually be a significant change

It depends on the token, some token are better exchanged when they are listed. I personally believe in holding my tokens for a while because I know the value would drop ones it's listed because most bounty hunters would be dumping.
I saw earlier in Crypto that a lot of coins fell, in my opinion if you exchange them now the price is very low, it's better to hold it in advance as long as the price is still down, after the price goes up your coins are exchanged. but it all depends on you because the decision is in your hands, if you want to get more, you have to be patient first because it's not easy.
here I am just a beginner, it would be good for me to think we need to have more coins in holding at the moment, in a very difficult situation like now we have to be able to check whether the coins we have now look good and not, so at some the day we will be lucky and get a bigger profit than the coins we have.
The fact that you get an airdrop does not mean you should not ascertain the value and decide to sell or buy more for such value. People often give away opportunity to better their lives by selling to soon what could have turn their finances around.

if the price of the token obtained from the airdrop or from the bounty campaign has not reached as expected it is better to hold the coin in a longer term because there is still a possibility that the token has increased in price and even the price of the token is more than expected.
