Verstappen has @6 odds to win this race so even the bookies won't favor RedBull today and the record will remain at 10 consecutive win races. Now, I think Leclerc will find a way to win this race ,right ? P3 in singapore will give you a chance to fight for first place in the first lap of the race but same goes for Russel and Sainz is nowhere near safe with them behind.

Anybody around in the SGP? Maybe we can meet up or something lol.

It's definitely funny that there are lizards on the tracks, I was surprised that there are many. The first practice is definitely a great outcome for me knowing that it could be an exciting race on Sunday. Not always going to be complete domination of Red Bull.

They are dominating so much that I saw they had a full booth just for their merchandise lol.

What would happen is still hard to predict. Maybe Ferrari will get this one.

They usually come from the neighboring country Malaysia, also we get a lot of news in the same region about "invading" species. Last corona time it was invading beavers, hordes of them attacking each other, migrating from Malaysia to Singapore lol Animal news in Asia is real Wink

Did you manage to meetup anybody yet? Enjoy races!!

No problem mate surely you can manage to turn the tables around for sure and there is always some other time you just need to never lose home my friend, it was always great to try and try you will never know when you will succeed right,

Well, back then they were accusing Michael Schumacher of cheating in the race well I think this is for the other teams that are jealous of Schumacher for what he has achieved, and back then I really never knew F1 and I was just a kid, back then and just manage to know the name Michael Schumacher in an advertisement on TV that advertisement was a Shell Gasoline one that time I never really know Michael Schumacher and who he was I really thought that he was the owner of Ferrari that time, for sure because of the popularity of the Driver many will be jealous and will do anything to ruin his reputation,

We all know everything through tv and nothing else. That era is long gone. Now we hear stuff we don't even wanna know, and 90% not true lol Enjoy raceday everyone!!

I appreciate your faith in me lol. This week I'm going to wait as much as possible before qualifying tomorrow to see if I can try to gain back small advantage for the race. It's quite near me and so the news is reaching me a lot although sometimes I find more news means mre confusion and hence more double guessing Wink

I don't know much about 80s and 90s but I always remember during Schumaker days they talk about him "cheating for his first title. Max winning more would stop that debate Smiley

WoW finally we have a free practice with not Verstappen or Redbull being at top and plus we see them with problems, so we can enjoy maybe a more normal qualy and race.

Finger crossed, but we cant relax about that, you know they can come back much more stronger tomorrow.

Is it not normal when Red Bull is on the top? Well maybe I was used to seeing Red Bull always in domination but I still enjoyed the race even with the domination of Red Bull I was still excited to see other teams stride in getting onto the podium or maybe I was also excited about what another record can Max Verstappen can break because it was a long time until another racer has managed to sneak an accomplishment like this and I am really enjoying it on what other record can Max Verstappen can break,

Unfortunately I put the wrong Ferrari driver on pole position, at the moment Sainz is stronger than Leclerc... But Ferrari has a bad long run performance and I don't think they can fight for the win. Just wait for tomorrow's race and see if my prediction of Alonso winning could come true.

Carlos Sainz has a bad reputation in his previous race but right now he has managed to pull up in the last GP and right here in Singapore he has done it again but I think Charles Leclerc will not allow it this time,

I am sure you can meet up with some people since there should be a cryptocurrency convention (the biggest one from I heard) in Singapore during this weekend and since this is a forum just for that, then it shouldn't be to tough to connect with somebody from here even if a few hours away.

F1 Qualifying is starting in about an hour since I am watching the Pre-qualifying event right now on the tube.
I thought it was this weekend. Thanks for the share though. It seems like it's next year upon searching it. I saw this https://www.asia.token2049.com/

Definitely an exciting qualifying being with Red Bull together not being in Q3 anytime. It was IIRC, 2018 the last one? It was announced a while ago. It was really fun and the race being 2 Ferrari in 1 and 3rd position and 2nd for Mercedes, definitely a great race for sure. I can't wait for the race!

YES!!! We still in the good way to see a magnificent race, i dont know what to think but seems more like FIA tell to RedBull to lift the pedal a little so the people can see a fun race.

What a qualy for Lawson man, the driver of the qualy i think, and Sainz very good final sector taking the pole.

For sure McLaren, Mercedes, Aston Martin, and Ferrari are the 2nd top teams in the F1 just next to RedBull no doubt about it when you choose racers that have the potential to go on the podium these teams are there for you to choose, for sure Max Verstappen is really undefeated in this season and I never really seen that his consecutive wins would be break anytime soon, but if Sergio Perez could master up his inner being to make it because they got the same car, for sure he likely can, but for sure any other teams might have a chance depending on their upgrades,

Right now in the Singapore GP Ferrari is dominating the Practice, actually, I haven't seen the video of the Practice 1 and 2 buttons the result it seems that there might be some issues with Max Verstappen or this is Verstappen's plan for Ferrari in lowering their guard down, thinking they can win in the race, for sure this result also happen in the last Grand Prix, and in the race Max Verstappen still manage to make his win for sure,

^^ Yuki might be on the move but not with Red Bull as everybody thought they would since they are partners with Honda so staying on with Alpha Tauri a RB team anyways.
This video explains why he might be looking to be joining Aston Martin as it aligns with Stroll possibly leaving F1.
SHOCKING MOVE for Yuki Tsunoda! - F1 Zone

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpxflEdMDcI

F1 Practice 1 ended around 2 hours ago and there wasn't any rain but it is partly cloudy. So we might have a dry practice session today after all so the drivers can get a good go around the track for once.

It is shocking for sure but it is still not finalized for sure as Aston Martin and Honda are partnering with each other and for sure Yuki Tsunoda still wants to choose what team he will go with and he is surely planning to get into top teams he also said that he likes RedBull family for sure while if RedBull will be prioritizing another driver then Tsunoda could be at Aston Martin X Honda team for sure and replaced Fernando Alonso along with Lance Stroll, for sure that will be a big upgrade for Yuki Tsunoda,

Seems like this track has some problems for RedBull or they are not showing what they can do yet, actually Ferrari was fastest on the fast laps but Alsonso and Mercedes on the long runs. It could be an exciting qualifying today with one or two surprises.

OK, I really think there is another time for you to make a comeback for sure and good luck for you,

For sure announcing retirement was really kind of early for the age of Max Verstappen but he is doing what he can now in taking records one after the other what I want for him to take is the Records of Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton in taking more than 7 Championship season and be dominant on that season maybe 8 or 9 but for sure that announces retirement of him I think that is not enough time in getting more than 7 Championship,

It's fine, I didn't expect to last so long so it's a great bonus for my first time Smiley

Agree Max is at peak, I mentioned this before, one reason to RB to wonder how long peak lasts before it drops. To maintain, Max needs great rivals, he won't retire so soon but psychologically, the body listens to the tongue Wink

Max Verstappen has a birthday later this month on September 30th so yes 26 years old starting soon.
Here is an article he did last month for Sports Illustrated explaining why he would ever consider retiring while being 25 and doing it so soon in two years from now.

"The Dutchman has yet again, spoken of retiring sooner than 2028 if things don't go the way he intends. Just recently, Verstappen revealed plans of chasing his dream of having his own GT3 racing team in association with his venture Verstappen.com after 2025."
source: https://www.si.com/fannation/racing/f1briefings/news/f1-news-max-verstappen-sends-early-retirement-threat-if-red-bull-dominance-fails-to-continue-after-2026-sj4

WOW! So September is the birthday month for Max Verstappen, and I didn't realize that it is the year 2028 that he intended to retire sure that is enough time for him to take the record of Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton in winning more than 7 championships and if his plan work for sure and becomes dominant for all of his race then he will likely be doing it for sure,

Looks that Yuki Tsunoda could be next on the chopping block as Alpha Tauri are looking forward to next season with Ricciardo out and Lawson in.
During this Perspective video he mentions that Tsunoda could join Albon over at Williams which I can see it a possibility of the future towards the F1 driver shuffle happening in the course over the next two years.

Is Yuki Tsunoda about to get screwed?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zY8seamxlhk

For the Singapore GP of course there is rain in the forecast as it is known to have every year on this street track.

Aw! Not Yuki Tsunoda, but apparently after Liam Lawson entered the F1 all of a sudden and he was Performing very well in the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and for sure besting Yuki Tsunoda in his run maybe the Alpha Tauri team will reconsider this now taking Yuki Tsunoda out, but Liam Lawson is surely a replace driver for them so it could also go in that direction for sure, and if Daniel Ricciardo recovers Maybe just maybe or maybe in the next season

So Max beat the all-time record for consecutive wins in one season.

What next? RBR can bet the all-time wins for a season, the higher % of successes in one season should be for Senna and Prost in old Mclarean days.

I am still of the opinion that you cannot compare these records with the past, you would have to take into account the factor of the number of races per season, also the engines were stronger and less reliable, the comparisons with 16 races per season and now over 20 cannot really be compared, and then the safety...

Just viewed a rather interesting video that released a few days ago on The Racing Zone.
Albion seems to be the talk lately with his stellar performances in the last two races outpacing McLaren who had been the rising stars in races back before the summer began.
But now is Alex's time to shine in the sun with Ferrari's Sainz and his ending of their contracts aligning just right for the switch over to team red.

Alex Albon: Defying All Odds to Become a Formula 1 Sensation

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1YpfxfBUSo

Can see him doing something special in Singapore since he is on a run lately.
What do you all think of his chances taking a podium place and shining even brighter than second drivers on both Red Bull and Ferrari this race weekend?

I finally lost my top spot in the F1 pool but I should still be very happy I stayed up there for half the season and a little more. This time Perez didn't let me down but the Spanish drivers were so mixed I lost exact points there.

Max is the Haaland of F1. You can't not choose him to win a race!

Aw! That was a shame man, you just need to try it next time maybe your luck will not run out the next time you try, well, maybe Robert Lewandowski when he was still on Bayern Munich, but for sure Erling Haaland when he is now on Manchester City Max Verstappen still has a long way up ahead he is only 26 years old and I wish he doesn't mean the retirement thing on his 28 Years of age could be true and likely I wish he still continue to Race up to his 30's,
