Oscar Piastri just won the Sprint qualifiers and I'm so freaking happy for this kid! I will be honest , last time I was so hyped about a driver in F1 was back in 2003 with Kimi Raikkonen and today Piastri is giving me the same vibe but even stronger because as soon as this kid will hit a bit of extra maturity in him , I think he will be unstoppable. Also , usually where people believe that there is nothing greater than Max to see on wheel , out of nowhere another one will arrive and steal that place ...in our case , it might be Piastri who will steal the show away in his favor , maybe even next year.   Cool

Lance Stroll was frustrated and Shoving his trainer sure is not a great deal in the F1 that attitude shouldn't be in the F1 if it's not because of his paying father in the Aston Martin well that is Lawrence Stroll sure he is fuming with that kind of attitude maybe he has already bought the Company or something, but for me, I really think it is OK now for Lance Strulovitch (that was his real name) for me I want him out of F1 and for a better driver replacing him,
That must be a show of his true colors of some sort or just really frustrated with what has happened. It can be because he is spoiled or something and not really serious or maybe there's something more behind it. Maybe there's an interview about it?

The last races were not really good for Perez in my opinion, in Italy he was on the podium the last time and that shouldn't happen with this car, at the beginning of the season he was much stronger and could "almost" keep up with Verstappen, that's not the case lately. It could also be that Hamilton overtakes him in the championship.

The picks in Superbru have to be made on Saturday or what did you mean?

Sergio Perez for sure is having difficulty with pressure right now there is a lot of expectation on him I think if he lifts that up and can race with ease he can surely go on the podium with Max Verstappen for sure Red Bull wants total domination and even with their 2nd Driver they want Perez to attain the same feel like Max Verstappen so their opponents would likely feel the domination towards Red Bull but instead Sergio Perez is likely getting beaten over and over by other teams,

Qualifying finished so we already know what the grid will look like for raceday while the sprint races happen today.
Qualifying results:

Pos.   Driver         Team     Time
1 Max VERSTAPPEN  Red Bull      1:23.778
2 George RUSSELL   Mercedes   1:24.219
3 Oscar PIASTRI      McLaren     1:24.228
4 Lewis HAMILTON   Mercedes   1:24.305
5 Fernando ALONSO AstonMartin 1:24.369
6 Charles LECLERC   Ferrari        1:24.424
7 Pierre GASLY         Alpine          1:24.553
8 Esteban OCON       Alpine         1:24.763
9 Valtteri BOTTAS     Alfa Romeo   1:25.058
10 Lando NORRIS     McLaren   No Time Set

Lando Norris was in 2nd for the qualifying but had both his timings deleted after receiving penalties for exceeding track limits.
His teammate also had their lap deleted and was only notified of it during the post qualifying race interview.

Think there was a bit of a shove or pushing match with Lance Stroll and one of the Aston Martin pitcrew or personal trainer after the practice sessions.
You can just see his pure frustration afterwards where it looked as if he didn't want to do the post qualifying interview.

Max Verstappen is Still the best when it comes to the Qatar GP sure what happened in the Singapore Grand Prix for sure it is just a fluke and a maintenance problem with both RB19 cars and the win for Carlos Sainz was not real and sure it was delusional, but I want for the other teams to strive and make it happen to approached their limits with the upgrades that is the real deal in beating the Red Bull

Yesterday not Saturday sorry if you misunderstood but you can always check Superbru itself for the deadline. I regret putting Sainz and Perez in top 5 now, they did so badly at qualifying that now I'm sure even more desperation will lead to crash or something and even if not, people above them are pretty good.

Brits killed it at qualifying!!

I do believe that this would be an interesting race for the drivers knowing that they have to make time and utilize their practice and analyze it so much to make up for the lack of data. I'm really interested to see the practice sessions of this race.

I think they will also do a lot of long runs, so data that is important for the race, especially with tyre wear.

You don't think so because of what? I mean, there's nothing wrong with his pace, he's not Max but he's good enough to keep placements. It's his erratic impatience that's the problem, as we've been talking about in the last few posts Smiley

I think he's either going to be patient or even more desperate. New baby effect Wink

Qatar race is always entertaining if you ask me, the track is one where many surprising things could happen. Usually there is no rain, I think this one will be a similar one as well so we should be seeing a Max win and nothing surprising there.

However, rest of the track is wide open and we do not know what's going to happen there, we all know Mclaren got better, and we know that Ferrari got better recently as well, and Mercedes is not all that bad neither, Aston Martin started well but I am not expecting Alonso to do all that well. In light of all these, I am sensing a Ferrari and McLaren podium as well, Perez will probably not do well so a Sainz and Piastri podium would not be impossible. Charles has been getting some unlucky results and for some reason Norris has been overperformed by Piastri as well.

For sure those 2nd Drivers from Ferrari and McLaren have shown some improvements that just that, well I really don't want to call them 2nd Driver because for sure some other teams tend to not call them that unlike RedBull It was pretty much obvious and Sergio Perez is the one that is not improving for sure while Carlos Saints and Oscar Piastri is showing great improvements indeed,

I do believe that this would be an interesting race for the drivers knowing that they have to make time and utilize their practice and analyze it so much to make up for the lack of data. I'm really interested to see the practice sessions of this race.

Surely this is going to be a great experience for some drivers and mostly the 1st time that are seeing this track, well there are a lot of Narrow corners that are impossible to pass on other drivers, for sure many will likely get a hard time on this one, and a possibility of rain could surely get some different vibe for this track for sure and as this Circuit is originally made for Moto GP in the 1st place,

There is a sprint race format so yeah with the difference in time zones get them in early. I did them a day after the last race.

Also with @owengtam09 and others such as yourselves talking about Perez.
He will be trying his damnedest to try and get more points since he is in second place at the drivers standing with 223 points and Hamilton 190 so he would want to make a good impression to his boss Horner so there won't be anymore talk about him being cast out of the team having the reason of him not being able to perform compared to Verstappen who has 400 points.
With 16/22 race weekends already having been done there is still time for even the likes of Alonso to catch up and make second place.

For sure Sergio Perez will try his best thing he can win this race as he is likely doing everything even the worst thing for a penalty just to win the race, for sure the only explanation I can get is why he is having a difficult time was the settings of the car were not meant for him but for Max Verstappen, he is not used in this kind of set-up for sure that is why he will certainly get different results, and for sure there is one set-up for each team just to not allocated a worst budget parts,

I do not know if the car is not as good as people think it is and Max is just far better than everyone and Perez is doing fine with that car, or if the car is great and Max winning thanks to that and Perez just sucks this season suddenly.

We can never know this unless someone else drives it, because we all know Max is great, and so far we have seen Perez do fine during seasons as well, if Red Bull is as dominant as people think they are, then Perez should have done better that's true, but if we can see some other driver, like Ricciardo for example, then we could say how great the car is.

I still have a sense that maybe the car is not as dominant as people think it is, but Max is better than every other driver and that is why we are getting these results. There isn't even a single doubt in my mind that Max will win the Qatar race as well, is this because Red Bull built a great car? Or do I think of it like this if Max was in another high end team as well? Not sure.

All in all, this race will be very interesting, as it was not held last year because of the World Championship, so all teams lack the data of the more recent cars and can only fall back on the data from 2021.

The track does have a strange look to it. As one social media person said, it sort of looks like a dinosaur footprint.
Also forgot it wasn't in the race year for the last season either so yes the drivers and their team crew can't rely on data from the  previous race season is an important point to consider for how it will go this weekend.

Questions for nex race. Is Perez going to be desperate again? 4th child just came.
Perez has been very bad in the last few races for being in a RedBull car, or not good enough for this car, so we'll see if he can improve his pace, but I don't really think so at the moment.

And Piastri pace will improve?

It is really hard to say for sure Sergio Perez made some mistakes in his previous race for sure making and we can not trust to bet for Perez sure he is not consistent with his performance and looking at it for me the pressure is really eating him comparing him and Verstappen can surely put him on the edge and I can not blame the guy as they both have the same engine and car that is why many will surely compare the two,

And for Oscar Piastri for sure, we can likely see if he can perform well as Lando Norris but just like with the Red Bull team both Piastri and Norris will surely be compared with each other,

Well finally again we have race week. I think its gonna be a very fun race to see. And we start to see the battle for the second and third place of manufacters championship coming to a no return point.

I want to ask, can Mc Claren catch Aston Martin?, i think YES. And with a lot of luck they can catch Ferrari maybe.

For sure they already caught up with the other teams and it was proven in the Japan GP at Suzaku Circuit that both McLarens ended up on the podium with Champion Max Verstappen this can happen again in the Qatar GP as McLaren is still upgrading for sure, as if Red Bull Engening slack again for sure McLaren, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Ferrari is really to take their place for sure, well this are the only team s we can likely see on the top and into the Podium for sure,

It's obvious that Daniel Riccardio is the one that Red Bull should go with. I understand that Perez may have done what he was suppose to do by not challenging Max, which is what Bottas did with Hamilton and they did wonders together. However, Perez is not even at the top, Bottas was at least second and gave Hamilton a lot of chances to win, and he kept the rest of the track at bay while Hmailton was winning.

Perez was like that back in the day, all that 2021 "same points on the last race" deal was thanks to Perez and his defence on the very last race, he kept Hamilton at close and no matter what happened with the last lap, I would say Perez did his best and even at the expense of not being able to finish that race he still defended Hamilton very well. He is no longer like that when you look at him.

And Piastri pace will improve?

For sure we can speculate all we want but I am seeing a more desperate Sergio Perez he is likely always making mistakes with his driving and in the last race he was retired for good because of so many penalties and crashes along the way, for sure there is something behind it that causing Sergio Perez to not have the confidence in competing like he used to for sure because of Max Verstappen that Pressure was really adding to to him very much,

Yeah he let me down, good driver but impulsive without the necessary skill to pull off those desperate moves.

Of course, we will all be saying a different story if he actually pulled off something but two consecutive races he did the impatient moves and lost his cool with no result. I guess we should see more as he's not gonna be taking advice Smiley

All set for me I know what to do lol

We are now in the midst of the next event for the F1 race and it is the Qatar Grand Prix this week actually I am very excited after seeing a video for the F1 Academy for sure I want to see some race, and for this upcoming F1 Race let's look at and dive into the upcoming Circuit that we will be having and it was called

Lusail International Circuit

Number of Laps
57

Circuit Length
5.419km

Race Distance
308.611 km

Now these are the highlights of the Qatar race Lewis Hamilton won in this race while Max Verstappen got in the 2nd position and Fernando Alonso in the 3rd as those 3 drivers ended up on the podium, and back then Fernando Alonso was on Alpine instead of Aston Martin, so back then it was really an exciting race for most here in the Forum, as Red Bull is not that Dominant back then,

RACE HIGHLIGHTS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZy-NZF8mEA

Surely Lusail Circuit was made originally for the Moto GP race and not really for the F1 cars, so it is basically great with the Moto GP race for sure, but in 2021 F1 race was held here just like what is in the Video you have provided and so Lewis Hamilton won the race, where Max Verstappen was only 2nd, for me seeing Lusail Circuit it looks like a Letter W for sure and it is kind of hard for F1 cards as the Circuit was build only for 2 wheels so it was kind of many narrow corners, but surely it went well for the 2021 F1 Grand Prix Season, for sure they would have upgraded the tracks since then and right now the Track is really unique in some case,

Questions for nex race. Is Perez going to be desperate again? 4th child just came Smiley

Yeah if racing is about personality, I think honestly a lot of drivers would be ignored lol. I know people will say badly if I say Max would be in this category. Liam himself is talking it up too, now he is getting a lot of media coverage.

I really wish it was all about personality but it wasn't for sure they wanted the result and for sure if a driver has some sponsor like Sergio Perez or Honda for Yuki Tsunoda, and right now Liam Lawson doesn't have that so for sure he will still be a reserve driver for sure, but let's just wait if What Red Bull and Alpha Tauri is going to do, but still if Sergio Perez pressure is not going away then this will end up badly,
