We love this somewhat lower line in this game. Atlanta hasn't looked good in their last few games losing two of three outright. Their most recent loss was due to a poor shooting performance in the second half of a game that they lead by 12 at halftime. The Cleveland game was the first poor performance by Trae Young, and we see him bouncing back in a big way in this matchup. The Hawks have won four games on the season and their lowest margin of victory has been by eight points, against a scrappy Pistons team that is similar to the Knicks. Even in that game the Hawks had a double-digit lead for most of the game. This Hawks team has just too many scorers for the Knicks to contend with. The Hawks just keep bringing guys in that can score the basketball while the Knicks don't have that luxury. When the Knicks lose a game, they lose big. New York is 3-3 on the season and in all three losses they have lost by an average of 17 points. Lay the number in this one as the Hawks coast to an easy double-digit victory.

We like the visitors, Liverpool here as they look to pull away from rivals Manchester United who are level on points, but eight goals back on goal difference. Liverpool are on a nine-match unbeaten run, but they have been less than dominate of late. The visitors have drawn their last two since beating Crystal Palace 7-0 and five of their last nine-matches. Liverpool come off a shock scoreless draw at Newcastle on December 30. Away from they have just one win in their last six matches, drawing five. This is a very talented deep Liverpool side who should be motivated with the return of Thiago and Manchester United on their heels. The host Southampton sit in ninth place, seven points back of Liverpool, but are winless in their last four-matches. They have back to back scoreless draws and have scored just one goal in their last four-matches. At home Southampton are 2-2-1 in their last five, but are also winless in their last two. Liverpool have won the last five in a row over Southampton, including the last three on the road. Southampton have been outscored by Liverpool over this stretch 17-2, only scoring in two of the five matches.

This is a great spot to lay the points. With Green Bay playing at the same time as the Saints we don't need to worry about New Orleans taking the proverbial knee. The Saints have a shot at the number one see in the NFC if the Packers slip so they will want to make sure they are firing on all cylinders. The Saints also want to make sure they keep the Seahawks at bay, and a win ensures that the Saints keep that number two seed. The Seahawks also have the later kickoff time, which plays into our favor. The Saints bounced back in a big way scoring 52 points on Minnesota after giving away two games to the Eagles and Chiefs the two weeks prior. This is big as they will have confidence and will want to be on point as they prep for the playoffs. Lay the number in this one as New Orleans rolls 34-17.

As per this selection on Juventus to grab a big win today against Udinese, they come into this contest fully fit for the first time in a while and they also come in off a sour 3-0 loss to Fiorentina, which would have surely gotten their attention and with the winter break happening right after it, they've had nearly two weeks to think about how awful that losing feeling is. We see them coming out with vengeance today at home against a Udinese side that quite frankly isn't very good. Udinese sit 12th in Serie A but have a negative goal differential and have scored just 14 goals in 13 games. We don't see Udinese finding the back of the net given the handful of injuries they have and the fact that Juve will want to come out strong and try and keep a clean sheet for morale. This has Juve 2-0 or 3-0 written all over it.

That is actually a good angle to take when there are more upsets than usual in the day. And honestly, that 1.55 odds is quite great on its own. Let's hope that we win this one with Juve getting 2 or more goals.

I already have way too much money riding on Juve game so I am not adding any more Glad you think the same, I would have felt even better about this game if more big clubs lost points in Italy today. Most of them won (Atalanta, Inter, Napoli, Milan) and only Lazio dropped points. I like betting on favorites more when there is a lot of surprises during the day. I opted for simple match line Juve to win @1.55

This is a great spot for a higher than expected scoring game. Charlotte comes into this game on the second game of a back-to-back, and they will be looking to make amends for a poor offensive showing. The 76ers are going to push the pace faster than this total suggests as they know they can take advantage of mismatches both in transition and in the half court. Philly is definitely one of the better defensive teams in the league but they will not play with the same aggression on the defensive end of the floor as they know it won't take their best defensive effort to win this game. The 76ers also know that they get the same Charlotte team for their next game so they can make any defensive adjustments for Game 2. The 76ers have yet to go over a posted total this season, but they are 14-5 against the total in their last 19 games at home. The Hornets have been a trendy 'under' play this season as well, four straight unders, but they are 4-0 against the total in their last four games against a team with a winning record, and 4-1 against the total in their last five games playing on zero days rest.

Yes, you are correct, I mostly bet with 2 units only. That's my base amount of bet in the games that play. I do 4 units when I feel that this play is much stronger because of the research that I did or if I lose the previous bets. You can say that this is somehow a Martingale bet but not entirely because it all boils down on what I feel on that game and what data that is available to me. Oh, I also bet 1 unit only when I feel that I'm on a losing streak.

My advise is bet according to your gameplan. It all depends on you and you can base the amount of money that you'll gonna bet on the rationale that I provide on every play.

As for today, I got 2 games that are already lined up. 1 for Italy Serie A and 1 for NFL. Here are my picks: Juventus -1 Goal and New Orleans Saints -6.5 points. I'll be posting the rationale behind my picks later. I provided the picks to you today earlier than usual so that you can already bet on them if you feel it.

How come I never found my way to your topic sooner? Nice to see you doing USA sports since I have no clue about them and I often need some pick to add to my evening "just for fun multi". Following you now.

I see you are betting mostly 2 units or 4 units lately. Would you say that 4 units represent high stake for you or do you bet bigger amounts sometimes? 2 units seem to be regular stake for you. Would like a bit of extra info on that part since it shows how certain you are the pick is good.

The Big 12 Conference has flexed it's muscle in bowl play this year as they are a perfect 3-0 as of this writing. The Iowa State Cyclones played in the Big 12 title game but they couldn't overcome a -3 turnover margin in the game and an early 17 point deficit, losing by 6 points to what is currently a red hot Oklahoma Sooners team. The Cyclones did beat the Sooners earlier in the year and their lone regular season conference loss was by just 3 points on the road to Oklahoma State.

The Oregon Ducks caught a break to end up in the Pac 12 title game this year. The Ducks took advantage of 3 USC turnovers to win 31-24 over the Trojans. USC out-gained the Ducks by more than 100+ yards in the contest. Oregon had two regular season losses to teams with a combined 3-8 record this season. Overall I think ISU has the edges all over the field including with coaching combined with the fact the Big 12 was a much better league this year than the Pac-12.

The Cyclones should be fired up for this game especially after losing a close Big 12 title game last time out. Lay the points with Iowa State in this one.

I know the Kentucky Wildcats won their last SEC game but that game was at home and against South Carolina. Kentucky comes into this bowl game dropping 4 out of their last 6 games and their offense at times is M.I.A. The Wolfpack of NC State comes to the Gator Bowl winners of 4-Straight and 7 out 9 and their only two losses were against Florida St and Miami. With Kentucky 1-4 this year against ranked teams and struggled to score touchdowns I see the Wolfpack controlling the both sides of the ball and the Wolfpack win the Gator Bowl. NC State is 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 bowl games and the Wolfpack are 4-1 ATS against a team with a losing record.

We have been all about the Suns thus far this season and we aren't stopping now. Even on the back-to-back we feel that we are getting the better team plus the points. The Nuggets will be without Michael Porter Jr. tonight due to contact tracing and that is an issue when playing a good team like Phoenix. The Suns are still not getting the love that they deserve. Playing a back-to-back isn't easy, and playing in Denver for the second game of a back-to-back is even worse, but we STILL really like the Suns. Phoenix has a deep team. They have a very, very good bench and that will be the key in this matchup. Denver does everything through Jokic as he leads the team in every significant category. They need more from their other key players, and again, not having Porter Jr. is big here. When Denver rests Jokic they won't have enough to keep pace with Phoenix. Playing on a team in a back-to-back spot, especially in Denver isn't something that people like to do, but this Suns team will get the job done yet again.

It's hard to justify when a team lost by so many points like they did to Dallas, but this Clippers team is playing as good of basketball as any team in the NBA. They have had one of the toughest schedules in the NBA to start off the season, but they have won their games very comfortably. They have covered all their games except of course that Dallas loss. Utah is on a back-to-back here and they didn't play well against the Suns last night. This team has covered only one game so far, and the Jazz are notorious for their slow starts. LA is playing with a chip on their shoulders and they look to prove all the doubters wrong that criticized them after last season's flameout. We think they take care of business again tonight.

Clemson has posted a perfect 6-0 ATS record in their last six neutral site games where they were listed as the favorite and they have gone an excellent 17-4 ATS in their last 21 neutral site games overall. They have also covered the number in thirteen of their last nineteen where they faced a team with a winning record and they are an impressive 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games following a straight up win by 20 points or more. They've also been very good against the number following a strong defensive performance, going 19-7 ATS off a game where they allowed 20 points or less and they've had no trouble at all when laying points, going 23-11 ATS in their last 34 where they were listed as the favorite. As for Ohio St, they have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here on Friday night as they have gone just 2-5 ATS in their last seven following a straight up win and they have failed to cover the number in five of their last six games where they faced a team from the ACC. They have also had their issues against the number of late when facing a team with a winning record, going 0-4 ATS in their last four in that spot. Throw in the fact that Buckeye QB Justin Fields struggled in two of his last two games, throwing five picks versus Indiana and Northwestern along with the fact that Clemson is 4-0 SU and ATS in four post-season meetings against Ohio St and we're laying the points here with the Tigers in a game that our numbers have them winning by double-digits in New Orleans on Friday night.

This one is going to be a defensive slugfest. Cincinnati is No. 8 in the country in scoring defense. They are allowing just 16 points per game. The Bearcats are No. 13 in total defense, No. 21 in passing defense and No. 20 in rushing defense. Georgia is just as strong on that side of the ball. The Bulldogs are No. 21 in scoring defense. They are allowing just 19.9 points per game. Georgia is No. 15 in total defense and is No. 1 in college football in rushing defense. The Bearcats offense is built on the run and I think that Georgia is going to be able to shut them down in the trenches. Georgia's offense has struggled all season long and they have gone through three different starting quarterbacks. They have been better since J.T. Daniels has gotten healthy. Offense is still not the strong suit for the Bulldogs. Georgia has gone 'over' in six of their last seven games. Cincinnati has gone 'over' in four of their last five games. That is why this total is higher than it should be. I had this total around 46.5 and there is a lot of value in this number. Cincinnati wants to prove that it can play with any of the top teams from the SEC and that the Bearcats should've been considered for the college playoffs. The Bulldogs have gone 'under' in five of their last six bowl games and the 'under' is 5-2 in Georgia's last seven games on a neutral site. The 'under' is 5-2 in Cincinnati's last seven nonconference games and the 'under' is 11-5 when the Bearcats face a team with a winning record. These are two great defenses and two teams that have their offense built around running the ball. I think that this is going to be a low-scoring game between these two teams and I can see Georgia pulling away to win this one 27-13. I don't see a high-scoring game and I don't think that this one is going to go over the total or even come close. Take the 'under'.

A little shocked that this total was bet up to 221 this morning as the Phoenix Suns have been playing some good team 'D'. The Suns have won back-to-back games and they held the Pelicans to 86 points and the Kings to 100 points. Utah always plays great defense and their first 3 games of this young season 2 of them have gone 'Under'. The last 8 meetings between these two teams 6 of them have gone 'Under' and the Utah Jazz are 1-5 O/U playing on 2-days of rest.

Phoenix matches up very well with Utah in that both teams are average offensively but solid defensively. The difference for us is that fact that Chris Paul and Devin Booker can impose their will offensively when they need to and they will do just that in this one. Unfortunately for the Jazz Donovan Mitchell isn't shooting the ball well and that will hurt their offensively capabilities versus a very good defensive team like Phoenix. The Suns have yet to give up more than 106 points in a game yet this year as they have really improved their perimeter defense. This will be key in winning this big road game tonight. Phoenix is 8-0 ATS in their last eight games versus a team with a winning percentage of .600 or better while Utah is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record. Take the underdog in this one as the wrong team is favored.

The Raptors are winless on the season at 0-3. However, this is a championship contender team that has been one of the best ATS teams in the league the last couple years and this looks like a Get Right game for them. The Raptors have started off the season with games against three straight playoff contenders, and two of those games have been on the road, not in their new home base. The Knicks are a better team this year but this squad still has a long way to go, and they should face up against a very motivated Toronto team tonight. This very much has the look of a double-digit blowout game. The Knicks are 0-7 ATS in the last seven meetings away from the Garden and 2-8 ATS overall in the last 10 meetings.

Orlando will look to continue their historic start when Philadelphia plays a visit. The Magic have won their first four games for the first time in franchise history and are the lone remaining unbeaten team in the league. Orlando's offense has led the way at over 120 PPG which is 5th in the league. This is a good sign coming into tonight with the Magic 17-5 ATS after a combined score of 215 points or more in three straight games. Philadelphia is 3-1, thanks to Joel Embiid who has been dominant, but he'll be matched up against Orlando's Nikola Vucevic, who has the skills to curtail Philly's big man. Until proven otherwise, really hard to back the 76ers away from home as they are 7-19 ATS as a road favorite of six points or less the last three seasons. With the Magic 4-0 SU and ATS when the Sixers hit town, they win outright again.

We really like the points in this game. Its not necessarily that we think Charlotte wins this game outright, but we do see this being a very close, one-possession basketball game. Charlotte is scrappy. They are a tough team to play against because they play hard on both ends of the floor, even if they aren't playing well. Dallas comes into this game off their best performance of the season, a 50-point blowout of the Clippers. This is the spot where Dallas lets down a bit and give the Hornets a chance to steal one. The Mavs had to play the Lakers, then the Clippers, and they play the Miami Heat following this game on New Years Day. This is a perfect let down look ahead spot for Charlotte to pounce on. The Hornets have had a few days to prepare for this game as they last played, a win over the Nets, on the 27th. Take the points here as Charlotte is 8-0-1 ATS in their last nine games as an underdog, while the Mavs are 0-4 ATS in their last four games as a favorite.
