As per your selection on Aston Villa to get the win here today, we believe they are the far superior team and are in a great spot to do well at home vs Sheffield. Villa is riding a six-match unbeaten run dating back to last season with four of those being wins. They are fresh off a 3-1 win in the EFL cup against Burton and were able to rest some key guys while getting others qualilty playing time. Their attack should be too much for Sheffield to handle and we don't envision Sheffield finding the back of the net more than one time today. Sheffied is coming in off a loss to Burnley in the EFL Cup and a 2-0 loss to Wolves in their EPL opener. What's more, is that Sheffield has not won any of their last 8 away league openers and we don't expect that to change today.

The Lakers took care of business in Game one and it may be the end of the road for the Nuggets and their crazy run in the bubble. Denver is playing on borrowed time with two comeback series wins in which they were down 3-1 in both. This team is young and inexperienced, but they have gained some much-needed pressure minutes over the last month so never count them out. LA figured some things out on the defensive end against the Rockets in the Semifinals and that has carried over to this series as well. Lebron and AD are too much for the Nuggets and this will be a 2-0 series after tonight. Take the Lakers to win and cover because it isn't 3-1 yet.

Just wait on this line and you will get this line or even better likely as everyone and their mother is on the Over. But, we will take the Under today. We like the Under today because if Minnesota has any chance in this game, it has to be through their defense and their willingness to play aggressive. This team gave up 100+ points to Seattle last time around and they are well aware that they have to get into Seattle's grill to have any shot at this contest. This team just beat Phoenix by 1 point and held them to 79 points to their credit and Seattle to their credit is a lock down defensive team when they choose to be. Seattle held the Mercury to 60 points and Washingto sub 70 points as well and though the public loves the Over here, look for these two teams to put forth a strong defensive effort as this great public fade likely comes through tonight .

LOST - Take Over 12.5 Runs between Colorado Rockies and LA Dodgers (3:10 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20th)

As per this selection, You have to ask yourself why this total is so high and you will understand as to why if you delve deeper into this game. For starters, Senzatela has a 6.5 era against these Dodgers overall lifetime and a 5+ era at Coors field to boot in particular. Gonsolin does not have much experience against Colorado in Coors to begin with and you would have to think that a pitcher who has pitched all year will get a bit rattled here at Coors against a Coloardo team that has nothing to lose and looking to avoid getting swept. Plus, Senzatela comes off a brilliant performance in his last game going for a complete game and he is on a let down here as well. Gonsolin also dominated Coloardo both times out and now Colorado has seen his pitches and will have a beat on them as well and what you are likely to see here is two pitchers that likely get a bit lit up today and their numbers do not speak to their relatively poor level of play today and that is where the value is.

WON - Take St. Louis Cardinals over Pittsburgh Pirates (4:05 p.m.,  Sunday, Sept. 20th)

As per this selection, both pitchers had horrible starts comign in but the Cardinals are rolling right now and they need to continue to win if they want to stay in the hunt for the Playoffs. Flaherty is coming of his worst start of his career giving up 9 runs in 3 innings and he likely bounces back here which is why the total is 8 runs to begin with. Flaherty is 5-1 with less than a 2 era lifetime against these Pirates and he has beaten them more than any other team in his career as well. Mustgroveis 1-6 with a 6+ Era against the Cardinals lifetime and though he likely pitches somewhat well today to help his team avoid getting swept, what you should see here is a hungry Cards team Cards were no hit through 6 innings last game and I can't imagine them not starting out faster this game as they started off last game so poorly. Cardinals likely bounce-back in a decent way here.

I expect this game to fly over the posted total here Sunday and would not be shocked to see around 70 points in this match given the way these 2 teams match up against each other. Atlanta put up 25 points in week one however 506 total yards averaging 6.7 yards per play while completing 68.5% of their passes. Seattle completed 88.6% of their passes against Atlanta in week one putting up 38 points against them so you can expect this Cowboys offense to get rolling here Sunday. Dallas did complete 64.1% of their passes last week with their opponents completing 64.5% of their passes against them and they did allow 422 total yards last week. Dallas also allowed Los Angeles to convert 52.9% of their 3rd downs against them and Atlantic converted 50% of their 3rd downs last week against Seattle. The over/under is 5-1 in Atlanta's last 6 games after allowing 350 total yards or more in their previous game and the over/under is 4-0 in the Cowboys last 4 games after allowing more than hundred and 50 rushing yards in their previous game. Wake Forest has the advantage of having played last week, but the home team has dominated this series. The home team has won 19 of the last 23 meetings and is also 18-5 ATS. NC State is coming off a rare down year in 2019, winning just 4 games, but the track record of Dave Doeren suggests they will bounce back and have a winning record this year. Dallas Keuchel is a big reason the Chicago White Sox are headed to the postseason for the first time in 12 years. Trevor Bauer, meanwhile, has played a major role as the Cincinnati Reds have charged into contention for a playoff spot. Two of the majors' top pitchers are scheduled to square off tonight! Keuchel is having an excellent season at 6-2, with a 2.19 ERA, while Bauer (4-3, 1.71 ERA) is the majors' ERA leader. In looking at the total, Chicago is 12-3 UNDER in September games, with Keuchel 10-2 UNDER after giving up two or less earned runs in his last two outings. Bauer is 7-2 UNDER this season and the Reds are 14-3 UNDER after three straight games where the bullpen gave up no earned runs.

This total completely confuses me as I thought the odds makers would post a solid 10 with the juice around -125 but when they posted 11 I knew we could have a nice Saturday morning winner. The Dinos are still in first place with a 2 game lead over the Heroes and they are coming off a 9-5 win over the Wyverns. The Dinos pitching staff have giving up a total of 8 runs in 3 games and 2 of them have gone 'Under'. The Giants won on Friday beating the Twins 5-3 and that total went 'Under' and if they can keep the ball down I see Giants keeping the Dinos bats silent. One of the main reasons why we like the 'Under' is because Song Myung-gi will start and keeps the ball down and throws strikes and will be completely shocked if this game goes 'Over' the total 11.

LA has been great in the playoffs, but they have yet to win a game one so tonight has some extra juice on it for Lebron and AD. They have cruised passed the Blazers and Rockets with little push back and now they get a Cinderella Nuggets squad, so the numbers favor the Lake show in this series. Denver is playing on borrowed time and that is bound to run out at some point and this series will show what kind of heart and readiness these youngsters have. Jamal Murray and Jokic are still so inexperienced so LA will lean on this years and years of experience they must take care of business. Defense is the name of the Lakers game now so look for a top-notch effort and get a game one W finally!

Since 2014 Chicago Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks has very quietly been one of the best pitchers in MLB when pitching at home posting the 4th lowest ERA overall (300 IP minimum) only behind Jacob deGrom, Corey Kluber and Clayton Kershaw. Hendricks has an ERA more than a full run lower when pitching at Wrigley Field than he does when pitching on the road. This year he has been no different either as his 2.27 ERA is more than two runs lower than when he's pitching away from home. He's razor sharp right now with an ERA of just 1.67 in his last 3 starts to go along with 17 strikeouts and only 2 walks. The key to Hendricks success comes from the fact hitters don't make good contact against him as his exit velocity is 2nd lowest in the league the last two years from all qualified pitchers.

The Yankees have beaten the Red Sox ten straight times including all seven matchups this season and I think that will continue tonight. New York has won eight straight games and hit a major league record 6 home runs in three consecutive contests. They will be facing Martin Perez who has been awful at Fenway Park this season going 0-3 with a 5.48 ERA in four starts and his ERA against the Yankees in 6 career starts is 9.85. Jordan Montgomery has allowed 2 earned runs or less in four out of his last five starts and he is 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA over 9.1 innings against Boston this season. Gotta stay with the hot team that has so many guys that can beat you.

This is a pick'em game at most spots but just feel the Wiz will take care of business at home. So Hyeong-jun is on the mound for KT and he has not lost a game since 6/26. He has not allowed more than 3 earned runs in any start since then and that includes a 5 inning, 1 run performance the last time he faced Doosan. Choi Won-joon is his opponent and he has been a converted starter since July after starting the season in the bullpen. He will be lucky to last five innings in this game and has a 7.20 E.R.A. against KT this season. He is coming off his only loss of the season last time out and I believe starting this many games are beginning to take its toll on him. KT is coming off a 3-0 win last night and Doosan has just scored a total of 3 runs during this losing streak.

As per this selection, Connecticut is in a great spot as no one is expecting much from them as they face a team like the LA Sparks who is perennially expected to do well. But, despite all the injuries here for the Connecticut Sun, they have really come together of late and are playing with a lot of juice. We took Connecticut against Chicago in a single elimination game and they got it done and we think they have a great shot at winning outright here as well. This is a Connecticut team that is 2nd defensively, they have revenge against the Sparks as well, and have 5 legitimate players who can score double-digits. It is truly a team that has balance, they have a great defense which they can rely on if they're shots are not falling, and have Jones who scored 12 points last game, Thomas who dropped 28 points last game, 23 points for Bonner, January who had 7 but who took 11 shots and she will bounce-back, Charles with 13 points and even J.Thomas with 8 points last game too. Look for the Sun to be fantastic this game, play with a lot of juice, a lot of chemistry and have a great shot to win outright and the points are certainly nice. Connecticut was up by 4 against the Sparks the last game heading into the 4th quarter, but this time around, I think they have the juice all game especially with everything on the line in the single elimination game.

Both teams have been averaging way over 80ppg and tonight in this WNBA Playoff bubble game I see offense racking up quick points. The Mercury squeaked out a playoff victory over Washington 85-84 and that total went 'Over' and I see another 'Over' winner. Minnesota comes into this playoff game trending 'Over' games cashing 4-Straight and 6-1 O/U in their last 7 games. I see Minnesota winning this game and again this total flies 'Over'. Phoenix is 6-0-1 O/U last 7 playoff games and the Mercury is 10-2 O/U following a ATS loss. Minnesota is 9-2 O/U against Western Conference opponents and the Lynx are 17-5 O/U as a favorite.

It's Jordan Lyles! I seriously can't believe that the Rangers are going back to him and giving him another start. Savor every Lyles start, my friends, because every one could be his last and this guy is the gift that keeps on giving. He's allowed at least four runs in six of his last eight starts and Lyles has allowed 27 runs in his last 26 innings of work. The 'over' has hit in five of his last six starts and the guy is carrying an ERA of nearly 8.00 on the season. Not great! One of those starts that he failed to allow four or more runs actually came against Houston on Sept. 1 in a 6-5 Texas win. I don't see the Rangers and Lyles beating the Astros again. It is pretty amazing how bad Houston's lineup is when they don't know what pitch is coming. But if they were ever going to break out it should be in this spot. They've only scored 24 runs in their last 10 games and got shutout yesterday. That's pathetic. But I also think it means that they are due after going 'under' in 8 of 10. The Rangers are batting just .199 against left-handed pitching this year. That is incredible. And, like with Houston, it is screaming for some regression. Framber Valdez is one of those guys that tries to strike every batter out. But he's allowed 20 runs in his last 26 innings of work and has given up four home runs and 8 walks in his last four starts. Valdez has gone 'over' in six straight starts and has surrendered at least three earned runs in five straight. After yesterday's 1-0 snoozer between these two teams I actually expect some bats to show up. I see Houston winning this one 8-3 and this one should tuck 'over' the number.

I'm not gonna lie, it has been ups and downs and most of the time, my picks are struggling but I managed to get back on track by doing extensive research and by using proper bankroll management.

If you trot out Triple-A pitching against Major League lineups you should see some runs as a result. These two teams played a quiet 2-0 game last night. But with Mike Kickham and Trevor Rogers on the mound here I think we'll see some better execution at the plate and with runners on base than we saw last night. Rogers gave up nine runs in just three innings in his last start and the rookie has gotten worse every time out. Teams are catching up to him now that they have some tape. Even in a decent start against Tampa Bay (he had 10 strikeouts) he allowed three home runs. Boston is one of the best teams in the Majors against lefties and I think they will get their cuts in against a guy that was in Single-A last year. Same goes for Mike Kickham. His career ERA in 17 MLB appearances is 9.61. Prior to this year he hadn't pitched in the Majors since 2014. He's been average in Triple-A the last few years, toiling away in Miami's farm system. While I think he has some revenge motivation against his former organization I'm not going to read too much into that aspect of it. But the reality is that he hasn't made an appearance in 11 days and we don't know what we're going to get out of this guy. Based on his history, I'm not expecting much. Miami is No. 25 in bullpen ERA and Boston is NO. 27. So if/when these starters get bounced early I'm not expecting a lot of backup. This number should be 9.5 or 10.0, and even that that number I'd lean 'over'. I can see a 7-4 game and I like this one getting 'over'.

LOST - Take Colorado over Oakland (3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16th)

I'm going to keep betting against the A's a bit here. I just think they are out of gas. They have played one of the most brutal stretches I've ever seen. Over the last eight days they have played 14 games in four different cities. Tomorrow they have an off day before a rivalry series with the Giants. This team hasn't had a day off yet this month. This game looks like the perfect situation for them to just completely mail it in and limp toward that rest day tomorrow.

I don't think that the Marlins should be favored this heavily against many teams in the Majors. The Red Sox aren't one of them.

WIN - Take N.Y. Yankees -1.5 Runs over Toronto (7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16th)

OK, so maybe the Blue Jays are NOT ready to challenge the Yankees in the Bronx. New York bombed Toronto yesterday and now the Jays have to face off against Gerrit Cole. I know Cole's numbers haven't been elite. But the stuff is still there. He's only allowed one earned run in his last two starts (13 innings) and he has 19 strikeouts to just three walks in that stretch. Somehow Toronto hasn't seen Cole yet this year so he definitely has the upper hand.

LOST - Take Chicago White Sox over Minnesota (8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16th)

The White Sox are going for what would be a surprising sweep. They have a huge advantage on the mound today with Lucas Giolito going against Jake Odorizzi. Odorizzi is one of those guys that can throw gas on a fire really quickly. He's a home run waiting to happen and the White Sox lineup swings with a ton of confidence in their home ball park. The White Sox are 14-1 in their last 15 home games and I think that they sense an opportunity to drive a stake through the heart of Minnesota's division title hopes.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will look to end this series tonight as they continue to dominate the series 3-1 against the New York Islanders. Game 4 was another very physical game and I anticipate the same style again tonight. There were a total 96 hits with each team splitting the number right down the middle in game 4 and it's oblivious who is benefiting from this style. Look, New York wants to throw their weight around and slow this Tampa Bay team down but this style turns into penalties and takes away what New York does best (5 v 5 D) and the Lightning capitalized on it. The Lightning have dominated every game besides the 1 slip up in game 3 and I think the club wants to end this tonight and not give any momentum to New York. The Lightning will also want to end this series tonight after watching the Stars end theirs last night. We are at a point in the season where playing more games then needed in a series can hurt you in the next one. I anticipate the Lightning to come into this game focused and to be just as disciplined as they were in game 4. If New York is going to continue playing this way they will continue taking penalties and they can't afford to give Tampa Bay an extra man on ice or an advantage after a hit. Tampa Bay is just too fast. Even if the Islanders find a way to stay out of the penalty box Tampa still wins this game. I would like to tell you to take the -1.5 puck line with Tampa Bay but I feel this game is going to be another low scoring game. Vasilevskiy continues to impress and stopped 26 of the 27 shots in game 4. He is now posting a .930 save percentage in the post season with a 1.93 goals against average! The fact is the Islanders are 1-5 in their last 6 Tuesdays, 2-5 in their last 7 overall, and 1-4 in their last 5 as an underdog. Tampa Bay is 39-14 in their last 53 games, 68-33 in their last 101 games following a win and the 4-1 in their last 5 games against the Islanders. Take the Lightning to win
