The site should be a bit faster now. There are up to 30k markets added each day to Fairlay. With our official launch we should handle it much faster.

Yeah I am having the same problems as well, what seems to be the problem ?
I mean yeah the problem itself is us users not being able to reach to website but I meant to ask the technical part, what seems to be the problem that causes the users not to reach the website?

Sorry for the bad experience. The issue faitaccompli has described is already fixed with the new site. The period is shown in advance.
Our focus is mainly on the new site right now and we were a bit lazy maintaining the current one. Anyway we will look into the long loading times asap.

Site is down again! It seems it is has been down for hours every day for a few days in a row now.
Frustrating for us, but it must hurt their revenue stream also, so you would think they would get some new servers by now. I would have long ago.

I don't even care about the connectivity issues.
Just please show which markets are 1st HALF and which are full game CLEARLY without having to click on it to see.
I just lost a bet because I thought I had bet full game but turns out I bet 1st HALF. Really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really annoying.

Been there done that. It's crazy that they don't show it on the display page. There are a number of wagers that you don't know what the heck they are until you click on them. And then you have to wait forever for it to load. And then you want to go back and you have to wait forever again for the page to load. I sure hope the new site takes care of all these issues. We need it asap!

Down again today. Yikes. They really need a new server. Hope their new design is faster and that they change servers. I'd ditch whatever server they are on and change to something reliable and fast!

Working for me....but barely (30 second page loads).
I wonder if it's anything related to the problem this site is having as well. But while I can access bitcointalk with a vpn, I've tried about 20 different ones but still can't get fairlay to load.

So what are the chances that you guys launch a market for "Will Bitfinex be the next MtGox"? I am pretty sure there are some right now that would speculate for that bet. Especially with all the fiat deposit and withdraw halts.

really ? If I am right, all casinos guarantee freedom when we participate, which is a prerequisite for casinos to attract players. Because no one wants to be supervised while playing gambling. Not just the site you speak, you are totally free elsewhere. Also, for deposits and withdrawals, they are always based on rationality, so we do not need to bother about that.

It would be really nice if you could create such a market. You will also gain 50% of all raised fees if you do so.

Any chance you could offer users the option to display all amounts in the currency of their choosing? Many of us do not follow the value of BTC day-to-day (or minute-to-minute in some cases), so it would be handy not to have to convert mentally every bet into your home currency before placing it.
I'm with erol34 on this one, it would be useful to show BTC and/or USD. Most of the other books are USD so betting against them requires an added calculation. Plus as erol34 said there's the fluctuations. There's more to sports betting then picking one side and win or lose.
We believe most of our users are aware of the current BTC/USD price. We will have surveys on Fairlay in a few months and we will add a question about BTC/USD conversion there.
Indeed they are. The question is whether you want to attract new users.
