Of course, FIFA knew what strict rules apply in Qatar, as a Islamic country, regarding the prohibition of alcohol, the prohibition of relations between men and women who are not married, and also that the costs for fans, for travel and accommodation will be huge.
However, FIFA has long been an organization whose main priority is not the fans or the game itself, but profit.
You are right, Karar is the first Islamic country to organize the World Cup in football.
Well, if FIFA was already aware of this, I believe there is no possibility of "complaints" lol
As it is a country that is more restricted and strict in its customs and religion, this made it clear that these types of "problems" could happen.
But I think that this is not a very critical factor, and not to mention that Qatar is an extremely rich country and in a way this money that will move your country's economy in relation to this year's World Cup is not money extremely significant as they shouldn't need it lol

The World Cup can be a differentiator but in the tourism sector, as this will help to publicize and improve the image of the country that will host the World Cup this year.

FIFA has heavy sponsors so the careless about their fans all the consider is how much the recover from hosting such world event. FIFA knew about how strict the Islamic laws are held around Qatar. I hope this doesn't turn out a boring world cup with less out of pitch activities outside football there should be other things to spice up the whole world cup tournament
There is no doubt many other activities and celebration ways are available for fans to do in Qatar because I know celebrating in manners are never been ban in Islam and Qatari Authorities surely allow fans and teams for doing things which are in their rules. FIFA is also having some pressure from heavy sponsors because they spend millions of USD's every year for the publicity of their products, and they also need some good things for HI lightening their products around the world.

Recently we have few YouTube videos where Qatari Authorities are hiring big celebrities from Western countries for Hi Lightening their ways of life and local rules because they are also looking for good number of fans from around the world in this event which is going to be good for their tourism in the future.

These are obviously some publicity stunts that are going to be done by the Qatar authorities. Almost every country does that in my opinion. But I would be really happy if Qatar does not look at it only as a money-making opportunity. I would be happy if Qatar thinks about this as a money-making opportunity and also an opportunity to get recognized in the world because of football. I don't have any high expectations from them in the world cup but I believe that they can do well and learn a lot of things from this world cup. Which is going to be really good for them in the long run if they are actually serious about it.

The good news is that we can still buy beer in Qatar during the 2022 FIFA world cup. because the FIFA has held intensive talks with the organizers. because this issue is important to FIFA. because after all the producer of Budweiser Beer has been the main sponsor of FIFA for almost three decades. And taking into account the World Cup spectators who also came from outside Qatar. then later there will be a stand selling beer near the stadium door. so the audience can still enjoy a beer while watching the game.
Shout-out to qatar and the organizer team who allow these beer issues settled really well.

It's not something really easy to break the culture that been there for more than what budweiser did in sponsorship, 3 decades? The culture itself might exist for hundreds decades.
Football and beer become a perfect match for some european people and hearing this .. they might won't be too much upset to enjoy the entertainment even more.

FIFA has never been ideal for fans and the game because now they are billion-Dollar company, and they want to increase their profit which is more important for them and they are doing all things for this as their greediness is not lettings them down but this all is okay and if Qatar or any other Islamic country wants to host event like this then surely they have to do some things for their sponsors as well because these are also very important for them and they are giving them huge funds which are essential for them growth.

Hopefully in near future we will have some more Islamic countries which will try to host this event so just because of this they need to do some better policies which are acceptable for all parties and fans as well which are going to host country for supporting their countries.

Qatar is now going to host the World Cup in their country. They have made some rules for proper observance of that event and it is a Muslim country. So everyone should respect all the rules and regulations to help their organization succeed.

I think its not a big issue and football can continue even if there is a ban on alcohol and other restrictions. The world must understand that every country has its own values and we must respect those value. Alcohol is ban in Qatar since its an Islamic country but since Qatar has bowed then its good for alcohol lovers.
But before choosing the host country for this year's World Cup, FIFA was aware that tourists/players/commission staff from the countries could not drink alcohol, people who were not married could not have any type of relationship among other Qatar's rules and habits?

Would this kind of condition already be explicit before choosing an Islamic country to host the World Cup?

By the way, I believe the Qatar is the first Islamic country in history to host the World Cup, am I correct?

but actually alcohol is not completely banned there. even some hotels are still able to serve alcoholic beverages. The important thing is that we don't drink it on the streets. but at the stadium during the 2022 FIFA world cup it will be allowed. as long as the alcohol content is not too strong. in qatar alcohol can only be obtained and enjoyed in special places such as hotels. and for the FIFA world cup this time there is an additional place in the area around the stadium.
so I appreciate the qatar side who can be flexible with the special rules for this 2022 FIFA world cup.

Yeah, that has always been the case in places were alcohol is banned. Hotels and similar places were foreign people go to are usually allowed to sell alcohol.

Also, it's worth noting that some food does contain alcohol, like bread for example. A bread roll can have up to 1.9% of alcohol. This is similar to the content of alcohol from a light beer.

In any case, the world cup is getting closer and it's going to be extremely entertaining.

Too much rule's from Qater honestly
Take a look at things to do and not to do
Imagine not having sex, kissing and also wearing shot clothes when the weather condition is almost hell.
Alcohol is also highly prohibited, I think this would bring a drop to the economy during the world Cup

This year's World Cup in Qatar will be spectacular. The country's authority is doing a lot of duty so that they can finish the World Cup successfully. Qatar can make some rules to manage everything properly which I think is normal. It is our moral responsibility to follow their rules. Hope those who will watch the game live will be very careful about their rules and regulations.
To give the best experience to the audience, the Qatar government have along with the FIFA organization have made big changes in their policies. Hope this gets followed properly so that after the World Cup gets over the country can stick back to their policies that are being changed for the FIFA. From some viewers point it isn't good, but as a World Cup host they're in a situation to do it.

Qatar is Islamic country, and they are strict about their laws so just because of this we are having some issues like Alcohol and sex which is not allowed here publicly even wearing short cloths are also banned because they have few places where you can do these all things without any issue but now as things are heading for World Cup peoples are having concerns about these all things which are taking good shape as now FIFA is already in talk with authorities in Qatar.

Basically, they are also working on these all things which are going to have some impact on this game and fans as well hopefully all will be clear as soon as possible because now count down is already started and peoples want to have all updates about this country and their rules for having their stay into Qatar for support of their country.

It will also be a remarkable tournament for the players. It can also never be nice to have to play in a country that has been so discredited because many human rights have been damaged in that country. that will be in the back of your mind. And in the winter months in the summer playing football will also take some getting used to for the body. They also don't have a long preparation time due to the competition in European countries (most players play there anyway). It will start in 2 months anyway, so we can slowly start counting down. I have also read that there are many rules in Qatar regarding alcohol etc. That is going to be something with all those fans and bars.

More about FIFA's crooked, bend rules and against sportsmanship just for money. International league or organization like FIFA has become really disgusted. No more sportsmanship to unite the world and connect countries, different people, cultures, and beliefs,... all set aside for sport. Someone has a different value, worships different gods, wears a different cloth, and such but once the game is on, things like that don't matter, everyone is welcome.

But no, FIFA doesn't care about enforcing that sportsmanship and unity anymore, all about the money now. Rich countries can now do whatever they want to push and flex their power, for the agenda just because they can with money thanks to FIFA's crooked.
In last three decades we have too much money involved in sports just because of this now these sports organizations are completely changing their way of business and doing many wrong things which are not acceptable still running into them as we all now money is coming fluently which is important for weak and small countries as well, but they need to work on few things which are very important because if they are not going to do better things for changes then surely mafias are going to take good control which is surely never been ideal situation for sports and this game.

Now fair policy and sportsmanship things are part of books or old now money is having good power as many decisions are implementing just because of more money and power talent is going into backside with quality is improving with money which is also having decline in quality for many countries, and now they are suffering badly as moneymakers are doing their own business and having good profit with all trophies and best achievements.

I agree with you, but obviously we live in a time when only money is important and everything else is less important.
We live in a time when it is practically impossible for Steaua or Crvena Zvezda to be European club champions, Uruguay to be world champions and Hungary or the Czech Republic to be finalists in the world championship.
Now the most important things are TV and marketing rights and football has become a huge business.
I'm sorry that there is so much money and corruption around football, but the professionalization of football brought us that, and things can't go back to the way they were.

Sportsmanship have turned good with good players all around the world getting opportunity to play as more number of leagues are getting conducted all around. As said, there is big money involved. Amidst the money there is number of sportsman getting opportunity.

In specific, the last two decades have served as the time period in which the sports industry have made big Money. This further have turned things to be more business associated than giving importance to the particular sports. Policy makers now focus on make a diverse culture and wants the audience coming from different parts of the world enjoy the same comfort as the home country.
