Believe me, both France and Denmark played with their strongest teams against Croatia, and at home, but they still had no chance against Croatia and lost the matches.
The matches were in June in the League of Nations, just a few months ago.
Croatia is often underestimated as a team, this was also the case in 1998 at the world championship in France when we were third in the world and in 2018 in Russia when we were second in the world. We always play our best when no one believes in us and when others underestimate us.
Croatia is surely one of the best team in UEFA, and mostly they are no in media which is surely wired as in last world cup they lost against France with they play seven games and lost just one which was in final against France it's surely amazing performance from them, and they have good record in their short history of World Cup.

In 1998, they were first time in this event and lost only two matches one against Argentina and second against World champions France in semifinal and after this they have play in three events all time lost in group stage but as they have their fourth event in Russia again they were on top of the game and reach into final where again France dispatch them and take this trophy with this both times they were lucky for France first in semifinal and second time in final.

We can expect something special from them as now they are having good squad with many skilled players those are doing good in European clubs and can do better in this event as well.

And you all forgot to mention Croatia, which played the final of the 2018 World Cup in Russia and is currently playing very well, and this year in the League of Nations, Croatia won against France and Denmark away from home  Grin
I think Belgium is an old team and their peak was at the 2018 World Cup in Russia when they were third in the world.
Don't forget Uruguay who played in the semi-finals of the 2010 World Cup and are always very good at World Cups and are former two-time world champions.

I'm not really sure Croatia will end up advancing too much in the tournament. Maybe they have been having great results in other tournaments because other teams are not sending their best squads there in preparation for the world cup

The League of Nations isn't taken seriously by the superstars. That competition doesn't come anywhere close to the EC and WC in regards to prestige. There have also been polls whether people remember who won the last final or participated in it and many people who usually like soccer don't even know a year later. That wouldn't happen with the big competitions. Do you think we get to see players like Mbappe or back then Ronaldo at the League of Nations play with the same motivation as the European Championship or even the World Cup? That is hard to believe.

~snip~

Germany is a strong team, I have no doubt about it, but I don't know, in my humble opinion it seems the German team has been decreasing in quality compared to the other teams they've had.

I believe the Germany team had the best team in the 2010 world cup and especially in the 2014 Cup.

I think I don't agree that the German squad has decreased in quality. from my observations, the german squad is currently undergoing a transitional period of renewal of young players.
On their attack line there are Kai Havertz, Karim Adameyi, Timo Werner, Lukas Nmecha. they are all young players, I have no doubts about the german squad but their strikers have not been tested on the world cup stage. As for the very experienced players, only Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer.

And almost all of their midfielders play for the same club, Bayern Munich. The cohesiveness and coordination between the players in the German midfield is unquestionable, as well as the German defense, they are young players, only Antonio Rudiger is the most experienced. and I have doubts on the German squad's defensive line.

The country in which alcohol is being restricted have allowed to sell beer to the fans. They're allowed to buy beer three hours prior to the Kick off and after the final whistle one hour is allowed. Earlier it was only non alcoholic and now alcoholic beer too is allowed. This news have come out and no official announcement is revealed.

During the month of November the climate will be moderately cool and having a beer will make the fans warm. Qatar have made big changes and getting adopted to the world, so to make FIFA 2022 the best of all time.

That sounds reasonable, but if there's no official announcement then I'm not sure it will be true. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it goes.

On your own prediction, whom do you think will win the tournament and carry the Golden Cup?
If this is the question of who will bring the champions 1,2 and 3 in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar, which is scheduled to take place 21 Nev, I think this question is too early to answer, because it is currently still in the qualifying round.

As in the current list of countries qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, it has reached 29 countries, there are still 3 more slots that are still up for grabs at this time out of a total of 32 countries.

I think France, Germany, Spain, Croatia are also good teams and they have qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, for now, Honestly, I don't dare to answer at this time, because the tournament hasn't started yet who will enter the top 10 and so on.

Maybe, if the tournament is already underway and has entered the top 10, I will answer here, who is most likely to win 1,2 and 3 champions.
I agree with you - it's too early to predict the winners at that stage when the matches will start in November.
Also there is a change needed in OP - the poll can be created so that people can easily vote for their favorite team. For me -  Portugal is my favorite.
In fact, whoever his favorite team is, he will support that team. But I hope this year's World Cup will be very competitive and we will all enjoy it. But I want someone new to win the World Cup. But I also agree with the voting thing.
someone new to win ? what are you guesses ? i can only think of Belgium, Portugal and Netherlands, but most of their players aren't doing good with their clubs, how could they beat a team like France or Brazil ?! Benzima and Mbapee are on fire, same as Neymar and Gabriel Jesus and maybe vinicius jr, i don't think they actually can, the draw must be in their favors to reach a quarter and semi finals, it's tough nowadays for a new team to win a big competition.

This time we will see a different World Cup from the previous World Cup, which we have not seen before. We will look at some new technologies that will play a role in improving the quality of the game. As far as I know, Qatar has completely banned alcohol in this World Cup. Hope all the teams give us a good World Cup and we are looking forward to it.

More strong teams facing against each other will bring more surprise exit throughout the tournament. As mentioned I too have the same opinion on Belgium. It is getting evolved as one of the strong team.

In all factors Germany have turned to be the favourites on this season. This is much on the entire team making way for the next than relying on specific players.
Yes, I have no doubt about that, Belgium has become a strong and competitive team, and they showed it in the 2018 world cup, especially beating Brazil in the quarterfinals.

Germany is well decorated team in all conditions and in every event no one has doubt about their abilities even they have shocking defeat in last world cup against South Korea but in this event no one can put them outside from title race because we know they are having enough quality for giving their best in all conditions.

In current event their combination is also one of the best with some new youngsters are joining veteran players which can create good opportunities for them even most of the peoples feeling they are not favorite in this event but still they are capable of having surprising results Spain and Germany could be DARK HORSES for this event with from these teams anyone can reach into last two.

If realistically we check all things then I am feeling right now both teams Belgium and Croatia have enough chance for reaching in quarterfinal because both are going good in recent matches and have good track record in world cup matches as well specially with the form of Croatia I am feeling they are good enough for reaching into last eight after this we have nothing serious update about any team, but they can go through until here and Belgium is losing their peak but still a good team with quality players and have enough power to give their best in crucial matches against top quality teams.

With these both teams we have few more, but right now these both are not bad at all and can do good challenges in all conditions.

It is mainly between Brazil and France. But that is if we look at it superficially. The draw will also play a major role. If France has to play against countries from the 8th final such as England, Spain, Germany, Argentina then the chances are quite realistic that they will be eliminated by one of these teams. But you can also for example draw lots against the USA and slightly lesser countries and then the road to the title is more open. The same goes for the Brazil team, of course. I think the neutral football supporter would like to see the Brazil v France match, just like the 1998 final, when France was too strong. France should play better as a team and not individually, that's where the big pitfall lies.

Actually, France is called a bizarrely strong team. And not just because of Mbappe, but simply because of the entire team around it. All players play individually at the best clubs in the world. They have a nice coach in themselves. France just has to watch out that it doesn't get too arrogant and thinks it will win the world title for a while, because then it can go completely wrong. We can say the same about Brazil, only they will be more busy and also more motivated because the last world title was won in 2002, that is a really long time ago. At the time, it was still under the leadership of Ronaldo. Can Neymar finally distinguish himself at a major tournament?

yes that's true, france is still a very strong team even without mbappe there are still other great strikers such as Karim Benzema, Antonie Griezmann, Christopher Nkunku, unfortunately Ouamane Dembele, did not participate in the world stage this time in Qatar plus Paul Pogba who had to be absent due to injury.
But Didier Descamps' squad have plenty of replacements to replace Paul Pogba. Unfortunately, in the statistical records of the last match, the French squad had a poor performance, however, Didier Descamps still had enough time to improve and prepare to perform better in the tournament match later.

But i have to say different to brazil, this time brazil is at its best, they also have a very prolific striker, sharp and lethal.  they are more solid in the game than the french. can neymar lift the world cup trophy, let time will tell.

Well we already started with the surprise of not having Italy in this world cup.

I hope the Netherlands actually managed to win this world cup, it would be an epic thing to achieve for them, because they are always so close to winning it
Yep, great observation!
I believe, almost all the cups that Italy participated, it was always a competitive team.

Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, England and Spain are always one of the favorites to win the World Cup (of course, in my opinion).
I didn't research it, but I'm pretty sure that these 7 teams I mentioned were in at least the top 3 of the last World Cups we've had.

Mbappe will most likely be one of the most important figures at the world cup. What I really regret is that Haaland won't be playing the cup. That's sometimes quite unlucky when you have an amazing player but he plays for a team that usually doesn't play a big role. Norway isn't a bad team, but they won't probably be winning world cup either for quite some time. Haaland not playing is a bummer.
No one has doubt about Mbappé abilities but if you want to do something big then surely he needs to change his attitude because recently some good negative news coming about him and his attitude with other players it's never been good for any player like Mbappé who is role model for millions around the world Mbappé and Benzema can do amazing job for their team France even they can win this world cup but here mostly needs to play like a team not just for selfish game is going to give them any good result.

Haaland is surely one of the best wonder kids in soccer, but sadly Norway is not in this World Cup but most chances we will watch them in next event as now FIFA already increase number of teams from 32 to 48 which is good for many countries and surely Norway is also one of them.

I totally agree with you but performance will neutralize any criticism. It is not that I like it, but Ronaldo was sometimes behaving bad in the same way and then the next game he scored three goals and nobody was attacking him anymore. It would be much better if they weren't so selfish, but even when Mbappe does behave bad, who will complain if he plays his best? That's sometimes just how sports work.
