According to ESPN, PSG are ready to make a new offer for Lionel Messi. And as we all know, Mbappe has been wishing to leave the team as soon as possible to join Real Madrid. Now, if Messi joins PSG officially, maybe Mbappe would like to think of not leaving again. Because I assume that he would like to play alongside Messi and Neymar both rather than playing at Real Madrid.

By now, everything is done and everything is defined. Lionel Messi at Psg is now a matter of a few days. At least according to the words of Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, brother of the Emir of Qatar owner of the Parisian club who wrote unequivocally on social media a post: "The negotiations are over, then will come the announcement".
Just like CR7 in 2018, for Messi there'll be a two-year deal with an option for a third, with a salary of around 30 million per season. Shortly we wait for the official steps and maybe even the announcement.

Messi made a big mistake by joining PSG. He could have agreed to play for free for at least one year or less for 10 lamas, and then he would have become a hero of Barcelona. And so he chose money and put his interests above the club that gave him a lot.
According to this article the president of Barcelona Joan Laporta said that the club will be affected for 50 years if he stays and I am very sure the board must have sat down at analyzed or weighed various options to keep him before taking the final decision to sell him thus tried to avoid any risk, the club is bigger than any individual unfortunately after signing for another 5 years contract it has to be terminated  even though they wanted him to stay, a new era of Barcelona has began after the departure of Messi we are all aware of the impact of covid-19 on the finances of many clubs.

Lionel Messi looks close with PSG but why he not tries play on primer league have more competitive than ligue 1, I think Ligue 1 is farmer league where only PSG domination and have much money than other club like Lille or AS Monaco have less budget to get bigger player, not fair if Lionel Messi claimed he was best player in the world if not brave playing with competitive league.

La Liga should also consider how many followers they will lose. It'll be hard to accept this conclusion for all Barca and Messi fans, it'll take life long time to accept this. However, things happened that allowed Barcelona and ElClasico management to execute all their plans. But they had a chance if they accepted the financing proposal from La Liga and not taken part in the Super Cup. Which might be helpful.

We all have to accept that there is no competition or rivalry in La Liga as before. The excitement between the matches is decreasing day by day. El Clasico has not been as vibrant since Ronaldo left Real Madrid. If Messi leaves, I will lose interest in watching La Liga matches. The EPL is much more exciting than La Liga's.
The rivalry between the two greatly influences the atmosphere of the two clubs' rivalry in the league, maybe it will continue if Messi moves to Serie A, but so far only PSG and Man City are mentioned as Messi's next club, and many predict Messi will go to PSG. I don't really follow Laliga because of the difference in time zones so it's difficult to watch matches in that league, and the EPL is my favourite.

the centre back Cristian Romero joins tottenham spurs from atalanta bergamo

Quote
According to information acquired by Sky Sports, the fee is set between €50 million and €55 million. Fabrizio Romano reported that the fee will be €55 million. Enough for Romero to become the tenth centre-back to cost €50 million or more. Last season, he was named Serie A’s best defender by the league.

L. Messi has reportedly decided to join psg - he will sign a 2-year contract there with an option for a third year - moreover, Neymar offers the argentine his number #10

Quote
Talks between Messi and PSG have taken place until late into the night. Those talks ended with the Messi-camp agreeing to a two-year contract with an option for one additional year. Messi's father will meet with the club to get a clearer picture. PSG want to announce the transfer on the weekend.

It's been rumoured that Manchester City or PSG will sign Lionel Messi soon. But I've seen this news today:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58114039

Guardiola says that Messi is not in their thoughts now. He thought that Messi would stay at Barcelona. They signed Jack Grealish and gave the number 10 to him. So, it looks like we may not see Messi at City. PSG seem to be closer to sign him very soon. As they have Neymar and Mbappe also, they will be the deadliest trio surely.

Guardiola signed Jack Grealish a few days ago. Now they don't seem to be thinking of taking Messi to the team. Manchester City will have to spend a lot of money to get Messi in the team, Manchester City may not spend that much extra money at the moment. Messi's next destination is most likely to be PSG. Because there is no shortage of money of PSG. But as far as it seems, Messi will decide to stay in Barcelona at the last moment.

Staying at Barcelona? There is no way for it. Haven't you seen that Barcelona are not able to sign Messi because of having a bad financial condition. And the offer they were preparing to make was against La Liga's structures. So this means there is no way that Barcelona can sign Messi now.

So, we should focus on which team he will go to. City or PSG?

That's right, Messi is definitely leaving Barcelona and nothing can change that anymore
Barcelona is in huge financial trouble and can't keep Messi because otherwise they would have violated the financial "fair play ' rule  of the Spanish league.
Many years of bad club politics have come to fruition and now the club is in serious trouble,  without Messi and with a lot of key injured players at the start of the new football season.

Messi has left FC Barcelona already and now as a free agent, we will likely see him in PSG with Neymar very soon, but let us see how it goes. I am a big fan of Messi, we know where FC Barcelona was when there was no Messi, hope they will not be back to square 1. I too like watching EPL than any other league, but let us see the move that will happen as the next season is starting already.
It's a nice thing he left Barcelona fc he is highly skilled Supporting striker / Attacking Midfielder / Striker getting along with his new teammates will not be much of a problem since he is also a brilliant team player who in most of his matches assist is his preferred option just to get everyone along. I can't wait to see him in PSG playing alongside Neymar

LaLiga will definitely feel the impact of Messi leaving, same way they did when Ronaldo left, I think that there's something going wrong in background as regarding tax issues with footballers in la liga, two iconic players left for other leagues, ever since Ronaldo has left Madrid El classico is not really interesting to watch, now that Messi had left I believe that few people around the world would have interest in watching it
A condition that does not benefit Barcelona and also La Liga of course. Barcelona lose the opportunity to get money if Messi is sold because his current status is a free agent or free transfer. On the other hand, without Messi, Laliga will taste bland which will reduce the audience's interest. I don't know who to be proud of in Barcelona without Messi's presence in the field, although in the end Messi also had to stop as an active player if his contract was extended. But it's true, ElClasico will never again be the same as previous season because the La Liga superstar is gone.

If PSG's decision to sign Messi for 2 years with the option of an extension of 1 year is announced soon, then PSG will have a row of megastars in their starting XI. Congratulations PSG, and goodbye Barcelona.

This is going to be ridiculous, according to Fabrizio Romano & Mohamed Bouhafsi after Messi PSG will go for Pogba.
Lmao. I was looking at the starting eleven of PSG with Messi in, and it was like all-star or a team that can play EURO or even World Cup and win it. Now Pogba? seriously? PSG is spending alone more than a major league or a dozen of small leagues? I wonder know how the hell the coach will manage to make such amount of players participate in most games..
You know let's just make 10 possible substitutes per match and give all titles for PSG. I am not angry, no, I am just feeling too much ridiculous imbalance between clubs.
After spending this huge amount of money on players this season, let's hope they take the Champions league, because I still believe an English team will lift the trophy next season,Either Mancity,Liverpool or Chelsea will lift the trophy.

I'm not sure about Messi going to Manchester City. Because I've heard that Guardiola made a statement like Messi is not in their plans for now. He said that Grealish got the number 10 and they wouldn't make any changes about this. It was sad to hear. But I still hope that maybe they can change their mind and make a contract offer to him.
The biggest candidate to go is seeming like PSG now. That would be great also as there are Neymar and Mbappe there. However, there are still some speculations about Mbappe that he will be leaving this summer.
There was information that if Messi comes to Paris Saint-Germain, Mbappe will leave the club. It seems that Real Madrid intends to take advantage of this situation and lure the French player to itself. However, it seems that Paris Saint-Germain does not give up hope of agreeing and keeping the player at home. And so, of course, it would be interesting to see a super-connection of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.
i actually believe Mbappe could leave PSG this year if Messi joins in, having all these big players with big salaries can lead in some bad financial situation for the club, and the pandemic caused a lot of damage, so selling Mbappe is bad for PSG because he's such a talented player but it's good for them  financially, and he can play next to Benzima, i can see the scenario of PSG getting Messi and selling Mbappe happening, but seeing a trio like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe could be really sick.

Even though Messi is 34 years old and his form will likely continue to decline, but for a big club that managed to attract Messi there are other benefits
that can be obtained. Messi will attract many sponsors, because Messi has a lot of followers from all over the world, this can be a good income for
the club that signed him. Then the experience of Messi, who has won many trophies, can help increase the motivation of other players in his new team.
And I also believe that Messi can still contribute at least for the next 3 years, so surely there will be a lot of big teams who want Messi. And
the rumors circulating say the most likely PSG will succeed in getting Messi, although it is possible that Man City or Chelsea are also looking
for a striker, it is possible to consider signing Messi.

While this may be true and his form might decline, he is still among the best of the best easily. Just look at this quality to serve for others to score. Just look at his free kick abilities. Just look at the fact that he still scores 30+ per season and far in the 40s with all scorer points taken together. He might not be the fastest dribbler anymore even though saying that he is not a fast dribbler anymore is still an exaggeration.

All the data you say about Messi proves that Messi is still productive and can make a big contribution to his new team. So it's really worth Messi playing
in a big team and getting a big salary too. It is very interesting to see that Messi is no longer wearing the Barcelona jersey. Messi does need a challenge
in another league, and it looks like PSG are the most likely to get Messi right now, although there are rumors that Chelsea will want to join in on
the pursuit of Messi. But we all know it's very difficult to compete with PSG, with PSG's huge finances, it seems very difficult for other teams to compete
for Messi.

Its ridiculous but if they are willing to pay quite decent amount for Pogba then so be it.
It is not ridiculous but actually PSG doesn't need a new midfielder, they already have enough players in that position.

They dont but probably they are trying to gather all those top stars in a club and try to be Real Madrid 2.0

Maybe PSG will sign Pogba with low fees or even no fees

There is no way that PSG will get it for free because Pogba is still under contract until next summer. Something along 30 million or a little below that for Pogba right now make sense though

I believe PSG really wants UCL trophy this season. It is the possible biggest reason why PSG management signs many top players currently.

Football is alot more than just winning a trophy. Even if they intended to win UCL, it doesnt justify their action of signing all those top stars. Its nothing more than trying to get more audiences to Ligue 1 and turning it into one of the better league out there. Its pretty much the same thing that Real Madrid did back then

It is claimed that Raphael Varane has arrived in England to finalize the deal with Manchester Utd. Before having a medical check, the 28-year-old defender will have to complete a period of quarantine. I wonder how much he will cost to Manchester Utd. We don't even know the transfer fee now.
