Arsenal is a big club, do you think that super league that was discarded don't know what they are doing before including Arsenal?, Arsenal can pay Messi salary, the issue is just the Kroenke is a stingy man, no one would ever believe the miracle that Arsenal did as regarding Emirate stadium, if Arsenal had qualified for champions league and they are ready to spend big I believe that Messi might join them because he's gonna introduce who to buy to play with
It was a pretty wild idea to think that Messi would join Arsenal. If not for Italy, Messi could have gone to France with PSG. Neymar still seem to be Messi's best friend and I think it will be if PSG are interested in him. While Messi can still play at a high level for a few more season, PSG could consider this opportunity to see if the Champions League suit them next season. Considering he is 34 years old, maybe 2 or 3 years is a good contract to offer Messi.
Yes, Neymar and Messi seems to be best friend and PSG dream either is to link them together by signing Messi to their team but Arsenal also seems to be part of the best club Messi can move to and he's going to play along side with young players.

Too bad, Barcelona and LaLiga lost their best icon just because of the salary rule. I didn't expect Barcelona to end their partnership with Messi in this way. They were too late to offer him a new contract or indeed Barcelona were ready to part with Messi.
First, you should expect the Barcelona and Messi to end their partnership this due to all the previous misunderstandings that happened between the club management and Messi. Mind you, he have wanted to leave the club before and I believe he mind has but he has to stay because of the fans and I'm sure the Real Madrid fans will be happy about his decision to leave Barca for good.

Its ridiculous but if they are willing to pay quite decent amount for Pogba then so be it. Pogba doesnt want to extend his contract with Manchester United so its better to get decent amount for him instead of getting nothing out of him next season. PSG is trying to get more audiences for Ligue  by gathering all those stars in one team

Heck yeah maybe Manchester United could join in the race to sign Messi after PSG decided to get Pogba  Tongue

Hello, I'm the financial fair play and I'm applied to anyone else then Manchester City and PSG.
Any team needs to respect me while those 2 teams can do whatever they want.

And finally it is official! Manchester City have signed Aston Villa's 25-year-old player Jack Grealish for €120m (£100m). He has signed a six-year contract with the team. I guess that the team are quite delighted with this signing. And they will hope it not to be in vain. Jack Grealish is definitely going to be under pressure. Let's see if he will handle this nicely.

I already believed that this hiring would take place, it only lacked the official announcement.
100 million euros... in fact paid a "good value", football is surprising us more and more.

Moving on to another matter, Messi left Barcelona after 17 seasons and countless goals.
Will he go to City too? They haven't signed any strikers for this season yet, but I doubt they still have any money after this Grealish signing.

I'm not sure about Messi going to Manchester City. Because I've heard that Guardiola made a statement like Messi is not in their plans for now. He said that Grealish got the number 10 and they wouldn't make any changes about this. It was sad to hear. But I still hope that maybe they can change their mind and make a contract offer to him.

The biggest candidate to go is seeming like PSG now. That would be great also as there are Neymar and Mbappe there. However, there are still some speculations about Mbappe that he will be leaving this summer.

It is not ridiculous but actually PSG doesn't need a new midfielder, they already have enough players in that position. Maybe PSG will sign Pogba with low fees or even no fees but then the problem can be on the player salaries. I think PSG won't plan to sign another top player if they successfully sign Messi this season.

PSG is trying to get more audiences for Ligue  by gathering all those stars in one team
I believe PSG really wants UCL trophy this season. It is the possible biggest reason why PSG management signs many top players currently. They already have some chances to win it previously, they probably have the intention to try with a bigger effort this season. If PSG can sign Messi, I bet for PSG to win UCL this season.  Wink

It's been rumoured that Manchester City or PSG will sign Lionel Messi soon. But I've seen this news today:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58114039

Guardiola says that Messi is not in their thoughts now. He thought that Messi would stay at Barcelona. They signed Jack Grealish and gave the number 10 to him. So, it looks like we may not see Messi at City. PSG seem to be closer to sign him very soon. As they have Neymar and Mbappe also, they will be the deadliest trio surely.

Guardiola signed Jack Grealish a few days ago. Now they don't seem to be thinking of taking Messi to the team. Manchester City will have to spend a lot of money to get Messi in the team, Manchester City may not spend that much extra money at the moment. Messi's next destination is most likely to be PSG. Because there is no shortage of money of PSG. But as far as it seems, Messi will decide to stay in Barcelona at the last moment.

Staying at Barcelona? There is no way for it. Haven't you seen that Barcelona are not able to sign Messi because of having a bad financial condition. And the offer they were preparing to make was against La Liga's structures. So this means there is no way that Barcelona can sign Messi now.

So, we should focus on which team he will go to. City or PSG?

I think Lukaku and Werner are perfectly suited to play together. Lukaku is strong target man while Werner prefers to play more from the wings. Granted there is a lot of competition on the wings for Chelsea so somebody will probably leave but I don't think it will be Werner.

And now with Messi leaving Barca, there could be a chain reaction of transfers among top clubs.
That's correct, both Werner and Lukaku playing together could be very deadly, they are a great combo and I wonder how they will be like. Plus Lukaku did played in Chelsea before, I do not really know why it is like that but players who go back to their old club could play with a bit more comfort, I really think that we should not be considering it as a big change for him.

There is still nothing about the transfer being made at all, we are still waiting, I know there have been talks for a while now but there is nothing official just yet, it is definitely not a pen in the ink type of deal and that is why I think we should not be considering this as done deal when there is nothing to actually see as a proof of this transfer even being officially discussed. The thing is if it really does happen, we are basically looking at another high chance for a higher success.

Maybe Messi is just tired of waiting for a favorable outcome of negotiations to conclude a contract?  Wink And when Messi arrived to sign a contract, the player was asked to reduce his salary even more.
I am sure he is really tired of facing the problem about his salary in Barcelona. I read a rumor that his salary will be cut 50% and even Messi cannot be registered to the La Liga competition because his salary is still too high. Barcelona management is in a serious problem because of the financial crisis, negotiating with the La Liga president also get no solution. I think both Messi and Barcelona management are in a situation with no possible solution. Finally, Messi realizes leaving Barcelona is the only way to solve the problem.

I think that Manchester City would also not refuse to sign Messi even if they have all their strikers, especially since you do not have to pay a lot of money to buy a player.
Man City still targets Harry Kane. I believe they will stop buying a striker if he can sign Harry Kane. Although Man City has unlimited funds, they will face a problem of financial fair play. Not only about player transfer fees but also the number of player salaries on a club. It is like Barcelona experiencing right now.

LaLiga will definitely feel the impact of Messi leaving, same way they did when Ronaldo left, I think that there's something going wrong in background as regarding tax issues with footballers in la liga, two iconic players left for other leagues, ever since Ronaldo has left Madrid El classico is not really interesting to watch, now that Messi had left I believe that few people around the world would have interest in watching it

Ok, that was fast. Messi to PSG, 2-year contract, to be completed during the weekend. Apparently, all the players are excited - I think Di Maria might not be that much though Grin

PSG now looks really good across the whole team, they strengthened a lot during this transfer window. On paper, with City, they are the biggest favorites to win the CL next season.

They will be amazing to watch, it's a shame that the league itself is really weak so we'll only have a few CL games to look forward to.
Chelsea are also interested in Messi as Roman Abramovich, owner of Chelsea, seeks to conclude a major deal for the Blues in the current Mercato.
According to the Italian network, Sport Mediaset, Abramovich requested an urgent meeting with representatives of Argentine star Lionel Messi to verify the possibility of concluding the deal this summer.
The Italian network indicated that the Belgian, Romelu Lukaku, the Inter striker, is still the first choice in Mercato Chelsea so far.
Its explained that Chelsea's attempts to include Lukaku, and before him, Erling Haaland from Dortmund, is a clear indication that the Blues have financial liquidity, and are trying to conclude a major deal this summer.

Lots of rumours flying around that Messi is going to Mls, dude is still playing actively I don't see any reason why he will move to Mls at this stage, it's either he go to Psg which is very likely or move to Manchester city because of Pep Guadiola, as for the edit that Arsenal fans did, its not possible for Messi to come to Arsenal  Grin, he would like to play in champions league
I don't even think arsenal will be able to sign and pay messi salary😂, so far arsenal is known as a team that relatively prefers young players with potential to be signed rather than senior players like messi who even has a high salary standard today, in my opinion PSG and manchester city is one of messi's next destination and for now it seems unlikely that messi will play in the MLS league, we know if
MLS is known as a league that is indeed the final destination of footballers who are old and also no longer able to compete in competitive leagues .

there were already the first reactions from paris concerning the signing of LM - according to this, a signing of this year's copa america winner would make sense

Quote
Paris Saint-Germain are confident signing Lionel Messi would be profitable in the long run and hope to complete a deal within a week, as the PA news agency reports. Barcelona announced on Thursday night that the Argentinian superstar would be leaving the Nou Camp, with financial restrictions preventing them from offering him a new contract.

That was my first thought about that whole Messi thing when i heard about that he maybe not anymore will be playing for Barca.
Paris Saint Germain would and will be take him with open arms and he would be fitting in there also .
The only problem that maybe comes with that is that S. Ramos and Messi not really like each other.

Lol this one is a good joke and funny too. MLS isn't ready to receive a player like Messi yet but being a free agent you never no where offers will be coming from but from the look of things it's looking more likely like a PSG move.
Should PSG sign him, I see one of the front men leaving for another club as the competition for a spot will be to high but not to get ahead of ourselves it will be interesting to see how PSG attack line will look like after the deal is inked.

You looks funny and make joke for Arsenal fans, how come they can get Lionel Messi sign's because not any player want to play there, before Messi Arsenal try to get Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos but he not interested with Arsenal without participant on champion league, Messi will have the same reason how ever Arsenal is not have enough money to pay Messi salary.
