We understand the importance of installing extensions from reliable and trusted developers and agree that you should not install extensions that you do not trust. At the same time, there is no need to additionally post the source code, because the source code of the frontend part of any extension is available to anyone by default through the extension store. If you have developer skills, you can easily access the source codes and analyze them. The code of our extension is not obfuscated and is available for analysis, you can see for yourself.

Until recently, they had a signature campaign here, I guess they thought that it was enough marketing cost for one source. I remember when they started promoting here, they also had a social media campaign, but it lasted relatively short because it gave very poor results.
Contests on social media help to keep loyal users.

I understand your precautions and open source would inspire more confidence, but BestChange, which has enjoyed a positive reputation on this forum for many years, would hardly do something as dubious as tracking its users. I can't find the source code anywhere for BestChange extensions, and I don't like installing a bunch of extensions in my browser, especially if they are not released with open source code.

Likely to be the number 2. If there are no other team, the team that has ran a successful signature campaign here in the forum must surely remember here whenever there's such a contest or campaigns. Bestchange should understand that she is part of this forum to a deeper extent, whether or not she is running campaign here. Bestchange won herself some loyal fans and supporters in this forum as long as it exists.

I also hope to publish statistics, even if they are approximate, for visits, to see if the campaign had an impact on the number of visits and the extent of the change that occurred after stopping advertising on bitcointalk, or if bestchange has become a consultancy and does not need intensive advertising.

For some reason, they sometimes have contests announced and running on social media without any Announcement made around here. I am not sure why but maybe;
1. They think most forum members around don't have social media accounts
2. There are different teams handling Forum Marketing and Social Media marketing
3. Contests are more popular on Social media vs. this forum.it's quite evident when you visit games and rounds board.

I have a small complaint about BestChange! Why hasn't there been an announcement here on the forum yet? If I hadn't accidentally seen it on the bestchange website, I (including others) might have missed this browser extension giveaway.

I haven't followed news and updates on Bestchange for a while.
Has there been any update in the feedback system, I know that there were a lot of complaints about the way management is done and that every exchanger can turn negative feedback into neutral only if it is written that the problem is solved.

Also, a few years ago there was an announcement of a design update, it seems that no work was done on it at all.

● Inactive — an exchanger has been switched off by the administrator; it temporarily does not provide exchange services;

● Unavailable — rates of the exchanger are not available due to technical problems;

● Disabled — the exchanger is excluded from the monitor.

I am wondering, maybe I could have the best answer from @Best_change.

How do you guys determine those exchanger reserves? Does the exchanger share them with you verbally, in a written form or via some sort of API? i am thinking some services could just lie about the reserves if there is no transparent way of checking them.

This is a bit contradictory to each other. If it were possible to easily bypass the mark that a coin is tainted, wouldn't all other services do that? Why is it thought that AML checker creators have some secret knowledge that mixer developers don't know about?
We have to trust such checks without knowing the details of the rules when checking.

Are you joking? That's the point of closed-source, you don't know how they are assigning an AML score, so you can't crack it. If it becomes open-source and you know how it works, you might figure out how to bypass it.
P.S. To my mind, AML score is an excuse for coins confiscation and it's totally awful. It does more harm than good because first of all, it doesn't guarantee the accuracy and second of all, an innocent person can get in trouble if they decide to receive Bitcoin from another person. It's basically asking in real life to check every Euro banknote whether it has been in hands of criminal or not. How the hell should I even know or why is it my duty to know or why should I get punished for it if I haven't done anything wrong?
