Have to say I am liking the 1080 ti's

3 card rigs do 1900h at 610 watts

I could do 4 rigs easy peasy.

The best price I got was 669 - 50 ebucks = 619 new card really big ebay seller. 200,000 plus feedbacks.

If I new what I was doing I would have grabbed more at that price.

Newegg and Amazon charge me 7% sales tax

Provantage had some good deals

Maybe I am really suffering with spring allergies so I am inclined to say no to any idea.
Especially since I misplaced the Pico and breakout board sent to me the other day.
I hope to feel better tomorrow. I hope to find the missing gear and I hope to feel a little better physically .

I am getting another 1080 ti from newegg tomorrow

I hooked it up 640h 195 watts for entire rig. 67 tdp 150 + core 300 + memory 70% fan

Moved my 480 8gb ref card on smos from eth/decred to zcash on NH and getting 300 sol/s which is paying about 1 1/2 more than eth/decred right now...

If it's freezing while you are working.. try reducing the mem clock while you're working.. and can increase it when its only mining

Yes this is my main PC , able to gaming (disabling mining of course) , and mining when not gaming but working.
Working is nothing hard for the PC , juste web , files , music .. nothing GPU linked.

The 3 points you listed are exactly what I have (as this is a gaming PC, everything is good parts).

sure it happens on a pc you use for other stuff correct.

So

A) do you have an ssd with room for this pc?
B) do you have an i5 cpu or better for this pc?
C) do you have 2 sticks of ram say 8gb each total 16gb?

I have found most pc's mining don't do too well at other tasks without parts like the above in it.

I managed to limit freezes with -li 10
But I loose lot of hash this way.
Will try the -ethi but I would like to understand why this is happening !

if it is doing eth with claymore drop the intensity say 7,6,5,4,3

8 is stock intensity.

Because my RX480 mining as main GPU in my home computer (not a mining rig) is making me crazy.

Well, that sucks! Is there another OS like SMOS that supports both AMD and Nvidia?

if you stick in a NVIDIA card and run Claymore ETH, it should detect that card along AMD cards since Claymore supports both GPU types and can run both at the same time.

disagree since the nvidia would need nvidia drivers and as far as i know smOS does not load them.

but I could be wrong.
