The 20th round of the French league is going very well for PSG. All teams willing to chase the leader lost points. I admit that I was disappointed by the level of yesterday's Marseille vs Monaco match. Everything that was interesting in this match resulted from the mistakes of the rivals rather than the good performance of one of the teams. A draw seems fair. I am sure that PSG will take advantage of this situation and, despite their weaker form recently, they will beat Reims today and consolidate their first place in the table.

Vito Mannone made 5 brilliant saves on that match, so that his team was really able to maintain the victory until the end of the match. Vito Mannone saved 5 of the 6 attempts Rennes scored, that was incredible and that was the performance to be expected.
Damn!, apparently that's what made me fail to win my bet. I didn't watch the game so I don't know what happened, I think the fault lies with Rennes, as it turns out the Lorient keeper made a win for them possible after his brilliant saves. With the results in the last game they got, they are getting closer to the top 5, I don't think it's impossible that they will be at least in third place at the end of the season.

2 relegation zone clubs are playing games right now, Brest vs Angers. The temporary score in the 14th minute Brest was 1 goal ahead of the visitors. Honestly there is nothing interesting in this match, because they both play it safe and try to take advantage of their opponents against each other. The reason is they are a relegation zone club that is struggling to get out of the red circle. Angers are even more worried, because if the score doesn't change and this match becomes a win for Brest then they will sink further down the bottom of the standings with all their negative results in every game.

PSG have a good opportunity ahead to open the point gap with Lens and Marseille both today. Because those two teams both lost two points this week.
PSG's matchup is really easy for them as they are going to host Reims. Their previous meet was quite interesting after PSG got a red card. Reims had so many goal attempts but it ended up with a 0-0 draw. This time I don't think PSG will lose points. This must be a comfortable game in Parc des Princes. PSG got a very good opportunity to outperform Lens by increasing the point gap. I hope PSG will not waste this golden opportunity. PSG must bet with all their might in order to increase the points against Lens because this will greatly affect the results at the end of the season. Lens is very attached to PSG in this regard. This opportunity does not always come twice. Rein is a team that is not very strong in my opinion. i think the chances of Lens winning Ligue 1 are very slim, they are currently in a fight with Marseille and probably Monaco for the CL qualification ticket, nothing changed between them in this round since the three of them drew, there is still more rounds and fittest by the end is going to take the 2nd place.
It makes perfect sense given that the four teams in the top five of the Ligue1 standings didn't win. Three of them (Lens, Marseille and Monaco) drew and Rennes was also beaten by Lorient, giving PSG a bigger chance in terms of staying at the top of the Ligue1 standings because today PSG will play at home to Reims and there is a possibility for PSG to win in today's match.Lens and Marseille lost both 2 points this round giving the chance to PSG to get a 5 points gap once they win against Reims.

I also don't understand why Lens could have a draw with Troyes, even though Lens is already very close to PSG and has the opportunity to continue to stick to PSG in the standings until the end of the season, but Lens was unable to be consistent in the match against Troyes so Lens had to be willing with this draw even if it wasn't the result they wanted. Marseille draw with Monaco is quite understandable because they both are in the top four but that of Lens was so disappointing. PSG vs Relms second meeting won't end in a draw like the first there must be a winner and PSG is the favorite because they will be playing on their home stadium added to their latest goal margin in their previous matches PSG's matchup is really easy for them as they are going to host Reims. I know PSG is the favourite but Reims also not weak team even their last losses were happened on October last year but indeed Reims is the team with typical of strong defense and for almost each matches Reims were never conceded more than 2 goals and sometimes PSG are in trouble and deadlock if against the team with good defense especially after world cup PSG trio still hasn't performing well so this could be serious problem for them

This Ligue 1 match between PSG vs Reims will be a golden opportunity for Lionel Messi and friends to revive after the previous French League match Les Parisiens fell 1-0 to Rennes. Even so, PSG still has confidence in themselves after successfully beating Pays de Cassel blindly in the Coupe de France with a score of 7-0. I think that lens is so bad in executing the chance to be a goal. It can be seen from the performance against troyes. Lens has been wasting so many chances against troyes. Troyes was going all in defense against lens.
That's very bad result for lens to lose two points against troyes which was easy opponent.

The big match in Ligue 1 between Marseille vs Monaco ended in a 1-1 draw which made the competition for the teams in the top 4 of the standings heat up. As hosts, Marseille failed to secure 3 points and had to settle for sharing 1 point with the opponent Monaco. Even so, actually Marseille could have won this match if only in the first half Jordan Veretout did not make the mistake of anticipating the direction of his header which resulted in the ball going into his own net. With this result Monaco has a 2-point difference from Marseille and in the next match it will be even more exciting for the two teams to maintain the standings.

After Lenz recorded a dominating win against PSG I was seeing the fixtures against Troyes to be a must-win match for them. Seeing just 2 points difference in the standing, and their loss against Stade Rennes was enough to say that Lenz will catch them off-guard. Even at a very good proximity to PSG who seems to be the League leaders at the moment, it is still a crying shame for Lenz to have a draw against Troyes. They just lose their opportunity of leading the French title race.

As long as psg is still available with those great players, any club ready to wrestle powers with them must be able to make great signings atleast to 60% of what psg has. It is money that wins the league and nothing else.

I think even though Lens is playing away maybe they can still win easily in today's match against Troyes, but the final result of this match is a draw with a score of 1-1. In fact, Lens almost lost because a goal for Lens also just came in the 88th minute, and it was quite close to the end of the match.
Even if I consider from their head to head records at least Lens can dominate the victory, so if I associate it with Lens' good trend this season, it is very possible for Lens to be able to beat Troyes who are in the middle of the standings. Lens got a really unfortunate draw against Troyes. Because they controlled the game completely but still this wasn't enough to win the game. Even their equalizer came quite late in the game and they could have even lost the game. Lens made really simple point losses like this and they are just giving away their title run so easy.
They must still be thankful for Marseille not winning against Monaco. They could have won actually despite Monaco's getting ahead first. The second half was under the domination of Marseille. But it was only enough for an equalizer in the first minutes of the half. The 2-point gap is maintained between Lens and Marseille as a result.

Lens, despite a very large advantage throughout the match, only thanks to the goal scored in the last minutes managed to save the draw in the match against Troyes. Lenz's draw against Troyes is something I couldn't imagine. Even after including them in my ticket, I went ahead to watch the full-time play. Troyes in their home were forced by Lenz to be completely defensive but yet struggled to end it with a draw. With complete dominance in both halves of the match, Lenz couldn't score more than a goal, but with just two on-target shorts, Troyes got a goal.
