I also did not expect Monaco to make the competition in League 1 interesting, especially in the hunt for the League 1 title. Monaco is the only team that has ever broken PSG's dominance when they had several potential players like when they still had Mbappe. I think after Mbappe left PSG, Monaco was a little relieved because they will use the momentum of this season to return to giving PSG fierce competition. I see their performance is almost the same. I would be very happy if another club would become the champion of League 1 this season. In the Champions League, Monaco's performance is also in the spotlight. They were able to beat Barcelona in their first match. I think that was a good start for Monaco.

I have seen it mentioned a few times that Marseille could be PSG's main rival, but I was skeptical about it from the start, and I also didn't expect Monaco to be able to get ahead of PSG. So far, Monaco has taken advantage of PSG losing points in the last few games, and now it will all depend on them, their next game is against Lille, one of the important games. And PSG's recent failures don't seem like a big problem, Enrique should be able to cope with them.
PSG are in a difficult condition lately so Monaco take advantage of them and are in a good position right now, the points difference between the two is not too far but I think the competition between the two will be full of drama and I think De Zerbi the head coach of Marseille will compete to win the title this season even though they are in a difficult condition lately I think Zerbi will overcome that in the next match to lift Marseille back from the slump.

The Monaco vs Lille match will be interesting and PSG vs Strasbourg this week, and I think both will be difficult to get 3 points and both can win the match because the opponents they face are not too surprising and I think both will get 3 full points both Monaco and PSG and I think the French League competition will be fierce until the end because PSG is not as strong as the previous season and this season they are almost equal and that can be used by other teams to find the league champion.

PSG only gets 2 wins from 5 latest matches in all competitions at Ligue 1 and in the last week PSG has been failed to win from Nice and this result is makes their position at league standing was overtaked by Monaco but i think this is not a big deal for PSG because i am sure they will be able to return to the winning ways immediatelly and this weekend PSG as a host will playing against Strasbourg and i think the analysis isn't required more for this match because certainly PSG is much better than Strasbourg especially Strasbourg status in Ligue 1 is only small team and i think this is easy match for PSG because Strasbourg is weak team so i am sure PSG will win and my prediction for the final scores of this match is 1-0 or 2-0 for PSG

PSG always dominates League One every season, and I am convinced Monaco will fall from first place because PSG is the strongest team in the league and generally wins it every season. Monaco starts this new season in great form, winning all of their matches and only drawing one, while PSG has drawn two games, so PSG still has a chance to top the league table again because I know Monaco can't go unbeaten; they will most likely lose some games because the season hasn't gone far, and they can overtake them. If they can adjust their statistics in their games, because I'm shocked when psg draw against Nice and lose in the UCL against Arsenal, I don't know there real problems or is because of Mbappe that leave them, and they are struggling to score goals. PSG need to sign some striker in the team because Dembale is not in better shap like last season they need to  get another alternative. But I believe that they will come back in form and win the league title, let see how the season will be or Monaco can get the big achievement this time and win the league title.

Greenwood has been the best player Manchester United have even if he doesn't play for the club due to the loan spell, I feel he has made a good account of himself and no UTD play is up to his level. Playing for Marseille has really elevated the club and they have been more dominant than they used to as of last season. I won't say they would have won the league without Greenwood, they couldn't get past PSG because they never had what it took to bypass PSG to become Champions and having a player like Greenwood made the team (Marseille) to be more productive and a better contender in the Ligue 1 to withstand the current Champions, we can see the change he brought to the team and is good that way for PSG to find it hard to win the league, it shouldn't be them all the time.

What do you mean by Greenwood has been the best player that Manchester united have? Was Greenwood extraordinary when playing at Manchester united? Or was he performing better than those he met or left there? For goodness sake, Greenwood was and still an average player despite his current stats. Even with his current performance, I don't know who he can bench at Manchester united now if he should return. The fact he's seemingly doing well in where he is presently doesn't make him better than any United players. His performance at Manchester united is what people are using to judge him and not at somewhere else. Before going to Marseille, they were not doing too bad that we'll assume Greenwood revived them.

Monaco are the leader now in the league. I have missed to see this honestly.  Smiley  This reminds me of their golden age in the 16/17 season especially.

They had such great players such as Falcao, Mbappe and many more great talents. They managed to leave PSG behind and become champions. But after losing many players from that squad, everything changed.

Now they are trying to build a good squad again. Of course it is very difficult to catch PSG's quality. There is a huge money gap for that. But it would be awesome if Monaco stay in the title race until the end anyway.

Hope reappeared after Monaco was able to play well at the beginning of this season and even now they can be at the top of the standings. But if we look back, then this is something we usually see at the beginning of the season. For example, what Nice showed in the last few seasons, they could even be at the top of the standings for a long time, but as the league progressed, they declined and finally Paris Saint Germain was able to regain the position they usually occupy. Well, something like this must be anticipated by the team that can be at the top of the standings, not only Monaco but all teams that have the opportunity to be there. They must be able to ensure that they are consistent enough with their game so that they can maintain their position.

I see some other people who think Marseille's performance is just because of Greenwood in this tea and he was the key player for Marseille. This is right to say Greenwood in Marseille had a key role in this team and he was the reason for many wins they had so far in this season. Greenwood could play in much stronger teams if he didn't face the drama he had in Manchester United and now in Marseille, he is much better than many other players in in this team.
But don't forget that Marseille also had a close race with PSG in the last season and even without Greenwood they could be on the top side of the table.

Greenwood has been the best player Manchester United have even if he doesn't play for the club due to the loan spell, I feel he has made a good account of himself and no UTD play is up to his level. I'm always keeping an eye on all the details of the Ligue 1 teams , but what really catches my attention is that Marseille is gaining a lot of popularity. I haven't seen a full Marseille game until now, but what I have seen convinces me quite a bit , not to mention Lille because Lille surprised me in the UCL. Now, I don't know if the teams are also different in the UCL, but it's something that I like because I see Marseille with more desire, and I also see them well because it is no longer the same dominance of a PSG, that PSG that was scary when Mbappé and that terrible trident were there , well , now the teams are believing it and the level of this Ligue 1 is rising.
A few weeks ago I didn't even know why Marseille had such a great improvement and another member here told me that Marseille had a new player with an amazing performance and that was Greenwood. After that I was curious to see how Greenwood would perform and it turned out that his contribution was very good with the speed of play that made the competition very interesting.
Even so, it doesn't mean that PSG's dominance has been broken by other teams. But it's just that right now PSG is having a hard time because the competition in league 1 has become more competitive after Marseille and other teams have had a huge improvement.
Mason Greenwood has managed to score five goals in seven matches for Marseille so far. He is currently one of the best players of this year. He probably wants to be a player who leaves a mark in the French league. He seems to be focused on his best performance to erase the dark events in his past. He was also very good in Spain last year, I liked him a lot in the matches. I can say that he is one of the best transfers of this year for Marseille.

Marseille, Monaco and PSG are now at the 1st to 3rd position in the points table.

After playing the first 7 matches, Monaco is at the top of the points table with 19 points, on the other hand PSG is at the second position of the points table with 2 points less than Monaco and Marseille is at the third position of the points table with 3 points less than PSG.

In other seasons we have seen PSG single-handedly dominate their domestic league tournaments but we are not seeing that now.
After the departure of their club's most important player Mbappe last season, this season the team does not look very confident, be it in the Champions League or the local league. The points gap with Monaco is still low, now if psg can't hold the number one position in the points table by performing well, then it will be difficult for them to survive in this league. It may be that PSG is not the champion of the France league this season but some other team is the champion.
This is what I expected of French Ligue 1, not a league that is hugely get dominated by just one team, and the worst case sometimes, Is seeing them "PSG" win their league even when it's clear that they're not even in form that very season to lift the trophy, seeing Monaco and Marseille come up this season is quite making that side of league become more interesting this very season, I will be glad to see Monaco maintain this position to the end of the season, because right now PSG no longer has a threatening super star player in their team to be fearful of the club.
It is everyone desire to be able to see the Ligue 1 competition more fiercely and competitively, but we also will not know what the developments in this competition will be like even though PSG is in an unstable condition and Monaco and Marseille are in quite good performance improvement.
There is still an upcoming transfer window that can help PSG to strengthen their squad in the middle of the season until finishing the League and they are team that is rich enough to be able to bring in some great players, I myself only hope that even though PSG can later appear impressively and experience improvement, it also shows that several other team are also involved in the improvement so that it puts pressure or obstacles for PSG to be able to dominate again.
For now I still waiting for how Marseille will develop next because they have brought in some pretty great players for this season, hopefully all of them can perform better and show real development in the 2024/25 season.

Literally i was expecting even more than you are expecting of Marseille in that i see that in their team they have got quality and quiet a really good depth that will indeed get them much more than they are doing now so for me it really got me wondering if they aren't even declining, during the summer transfer window, they did some very good and quality transfer that really felt impressive and did made most persons be in very good anticipation as to what we should be expecting from them with such a squad as a team, probably a very good an equal competition with PSG in the Ligue 1 this season but that seem not to be happening exactly and away from greenwood are other quality player they got.

Honestly, every season, Marseille have always been in good form, despite some seasons where they don't make it to the top four and qualify for the Champions League. However, people always notice their good form almost every season. This season again, they have started well, because out of the seven matches played in the Ligue competition, they have managed to win four, draw two, and lose one. That shows they are in good form, and with this current performance, if they can continue, it is very possible for Marseille to end the season in the top four.

For the upcoming match of Marseille against Montpellier, I expect the match to be easy for Marseille, and for them to win the full three points because Montpellier's performance this season has been weak. Montpellier have only managed to win one match and have lost five. That is really poor form, and I can't say I'm expecting much from them against Marseille. Marseille have everything needed to win the game, and I expect that from them.

But the biggest problem in Ligue 1 is usually not that the benchmark is the average team there. The benchmark is PSG and they don't mess around then no other team should have a chance to win the league. Marseille is doing well more or less, but any point they lose early on will be regretted later down the road as PSG has the potential to improve their game any time while for other teams it is hard to make up for lost points and get a winning streak going that could cause distress for PSG.

With full focus on domestic competition, De Zerbi seems to be able to make Marseille finish in the Champions League zone, expectations have increased since he took over as manager. If Marseille manages to recruit Pogba in the January transfer window, as is rumored, their strength to become a trophy challenger will be even more taken into account.
A high position in Ligue 1 for joining Champions League next season is important for Marseille. It's their first target in this season, and if possible winning Ligue 1 title will be a very good achievement for their club and De Zebri. Success in Marseille will help De Zebri receiving some good offers in big clubs and improving his coach career.
This season Marseille wants to try to change the flow of last season's bad and return them to the position they always occupy in the top 3 so it seems that with some changes made in terms of players and coaches it seems that it is very effective to do by Marseille at this time.

De Zerbi was able to immediately kick off in his first season, besides that, the arrival of several players like Greenwood did have a very big impact on their performance at the beginning of the season even now Greenwood is still competing in the race for the top score for Ligue 1.
Currently De Zerbi only has to maximize the defense so that it does not collapse easily because if you look at the productivity of the goals they have, Marseille is actually very good even we can see that for 7 weeks of the season, Marseille is the second club after PSG with a good scoring ratio but the difference is that they have a slightly more fragile defense so that it actually has an impact on the final score.

Marseille will have a hard time if they don't add ammunition to some new arrivals, for example a striker who is really capable of scoring goals. Greenwood is not played as a center forward, even though he has an instinct for scoring goals. De Zerbi prefers to play him in other positions, he is placed as a winger. In the two matches Marseille's performance has decreased, it seems that De Zerbi needs to experiment with rotating his players. for example, playing Greenwood as a center forward. Currently Monaco is leading the standings, they are unbeaten in the 7 matches they have played. Adolf Hutter is quite skilled, last season he was able to bring Monaco to become runner-up. As for PSG, out of the 7 matches they have played, 2 matches ended in a draw, which finally left them two points behind the team at the top of the standings. However, it is only a matter of time for PSG to return to the top of the standings.

If we look at the 7 weeks that have been running, so far in League 1 the competition is quite tight, there have been changes in the standings, for the time being Monaco is at the top, as well as Marseille who so far have strong determination under the guidance of coach de Zerbi and Reims as representatives of mid-table clubs have shown their resistance but the question is whether they are able to maintain it until the end of the season amidst the dominance of PSG who have always come out as champions. That is what they must do and finish until the end because it is possible that in the middle of the journey a decline in performance will occur and we will see PSG again at the end of the season because that is how League 1 is every season.
The question of whether they will be able to survive I think it will be very difficult to answer because there will be a lot of obstacles in the future in each team and bad gal can happen, which initially as the leader of the standings or playing in the top 5 standings will end up in relegation, it is possible, so to avoid that they must be able to continue to develop and get better, because the longer the competition will be very tight, if they develop slowly enough it will result in being left behind and their strategy will be easily learned by other competitors and will make them fall apart.

Marseille are much better this season, they started the season impressively, they definitely have the potential to compete for the top of the standings. We certainly don't ignore PSG dominance, but I think Marseille are at least able to put pressure on and make the competition for the Ligue 1 trophy more exciting. Marseille are currently 5 points behind AS Monaco who are currently at the top of the standings, there is still a chance to reduce the points gap in the next matches.
Marseille are stronger and more competitive while PSG are weaker after losing Mbappe and changing their development strategy since in two latest summer transfer seasons. Decreasing quality of PSG at least in this season, will help some clubs in Ligue 1 like Marseille to have better opportunities of competing the league title.
On what basis do you say that Marseille is stronger than PSG even with the exit of Mbappe? Who is at the top of the French Lig 1 at the moment between both teams? The right answer is Monaco but PSG is still ahead of Marseille with three points. By their recent matches, Marseille have lost one match a drew one showing that they have reduced form so much. PSG on the other hand have maintained their winning streak apart from otwo draw they got. So, in my opinion, PSG is still stronger than Marseille as they are going unbeaten.
The loss of Mbappe does have a bad impact on the sharpness of their front line, but I don't see any factors that make PSG weaker and worse than Marseille at the moment, both teams have good performance and squad depth this season but it is undeniable that PSG is still better than Marseille, especially in fact currently PSG still has not lost at all in the league,  To be honest, losing Mbappe is not a big problem for PSG competing in Ligue 1 but not when they must to compete in the UCL at the moment.
Marseille and Monaco are teams that we expect to break PSG dominance in Ligue 1, but we also can't expect if they are able to do so farz, because we haven't seen how good their consistency is in competing with PSG, because indeed to stop PSG, Monaco and Marseille have to really have a very dynamic team performance to do it and that's not easy in my opinion.
