In a few days PSG will play Rennes in the French Cup semi-finals, they are the favorites, but Luis Enrique has to be careful in this match because the Champions League schedule is getting closer. Luis Enrique will likely make some rotations in the semi-final match, but they will still aim to win the final instead of giving it up because of the Champions League.
They played against Rennes this week and will play Barcelona next week. I don't think it will be a problem for them. I think PSG will rotate players during the match against Clermont in Ligue 1. It will be impossible for PSG to give up a ticket to the French Cup final. They have the best squad in Ligue 1 and there is no one at their level. They are almost certain to lock in the League title, now they are also eyeing the French Cup title, and are trying to get the best results in the Champions League. So I'm sure Enrique will rotate players in the league match against Clermont.

Marseille are a strong team and PSG made no mistakes despite receiving a red card against them. Even though they didn't play the match to dominate, they still did their best. They managed to win the match with 2 good positions and 2 goals. There was a controversial penalty position that was not awarded to Marseille, but when PSG increased the difference, Marseille had no hope. The Barça match will be very difficult, I hope they manage to win.

The truth is that PSG has grown so strong on the French league that even with red card it will be very difficult for them to be beaten by any club on this league because there performance is far higher than every other clubs on this league that was why Marseille could not utilize the opportunity, although if it was a club that has similar performance as PSG it would have been a great opportunity for them because PSG got the red card very early of the match, however for Marseille to improve on there position will actually be very difficult because after losing this match against PSG they are still going to meet Lille on there next match and considering the performance of Lille it will not still be easy for Marseille to get the 3 points.

PSG seemed too strong for Marseille. Playing against 10-men, Marseille wasn't able to capitalize their numerical advantage. They struggled to assert themselves effectively, and credit has to be given to PSG for capitalizing on their opportunities and executing their chances efficiently, when Mbappe wasn't even directly involved in the counter-attacks. Enrique is able to adapt and find alternative strategies to succeed, even without relying on Mbappe. This adaptability is important to have in high-stakes matches where tactical flexibility is needed the most.

Perhaps with an eye on success in the Champions League, Enrique has the vision and plans of the team management by resting Mbappe in some matches in Ligue 1. This implies he has a clear focus on achieving success on Champions League target, while still maintaining consistency in the domestic league. PSG seem to always have the ability to win under challenging circumstances in Ligue 1 and their tactical flexibility in adapting to different game situations aligns with their ambition in Champions League.
This indicates that PSG's quality is much stronger than Marseille's and indeed this match was very unbalanced, even though PSG had received a red card, they were still able to dominate the match and win it.
In League 1 the PSG team does not have much stronger motivation because no matter what, they will still be comfortable at the top of the standings without any pressure from any team to fight for the title.

Enrique just needs to make this team play better on the Champions League stage and advance further.
The quarter-final match against Barcelona will be a real match or challenge for PSG.

If PSG is certain to win the Ligue 1 trophy this season, then PSG should be able to maximize their current quality to get better results in the Champions League. Indeed, to win the trophy in the Champions League will not be easy, but at least PSG must be able to go further or maybe qualify for the Champions League final. If that happens, then of course PSG has really improved with Enrique in his first season as PSG head coach this season.

But, if Enrique still fails to take PSG further in the Champions League, at least that is also still a reasonable result, because of course Enrique also still needs a long process to become a strong and great PSG in the Champions League too. So yes, as long as Enrique still manages to bring PSG to the Ligue 1 trophy and manages to bring PSG through to the knockout phase of the Champions League, I think these results are still good results, and Enrique position will also still be safe.
Talking about the Ligue 1 trophy of course it is already in their grasp and it is impossible to be able to escape and be taken by other teams at this time, because indeed their position has been quite safe in the standings, now I think PSG no longer have a burden in Ligue 1 and they should immediately shift their focus to the Champions League as the main target this season,  I don't want to say the Ligue 1 trophy doesn't really matter, but after a lot of trying and fighting so far, of course it's bad enough if PSG fail to win the Champions League again this season.

PSG's development is indeed quite significant under Enrique and I think it is natural to see Enrique's experience so far in coaching the national team and club, but I think Enrique's arrival to PSG at this time is very late because indeed the condition of the team is starting not stabilize when rumors of Mbappe's departure are getting stronger, if if Enrique coached PSG when they still had a trio of MNM up front then I was quite sure of the perfect quality of PSG at that time then The Champions League is probably already in their hands, it's Enrique's first season at PSG and I think PSG still give Enrique a big responsibility to get the Champions League trophy this season.

Everyone thinks the same thing, Mbappe is not who makes PSG what it is today and him going away will not change much. PSG is doing very well right now, and considering how much money he was making, if they spend that money in 2-3 new players then they will be able to afford some of the best players without a doubt. That is why I believe that it is quite important for him to do well, it has to be something that will take some time but it will slowly get there.

I believe that the best thing to do right now would be calm down and take a look at what they are going to miss next season. They do not have to sell any player they don't want to, so they can decide what they will need after Mbappe, and build a team based on that.
Mbappe is the best player of the team. They gain great advantages in its presence. I think no one can deny this. Apart from this, in case of a transfer to Real Madrid, fans will expect the person to be replaced to have the same impact on the team, but this would not be true. Because Mbappe is one of the best in the world and there are very few players of his quality. It is necessary to accept this and act accordingly. It might be best not to set expectations too high.

They managed to maintain control of the match even when there were 10 men left in the derby match, which was an easy victory that I did not expect from PSG. PSG were left with ten men early, if I'm not mistaken, it was around the 40th minute. Beraldo was taken out of the game and he hadn't even scored a goal yet. Despite this, PSG scored two goals and won the match.

Vitinha did a good job in PSG's counter attack, he created the attack himself and scored the goal himself after Dembele passed the ball again.
Yes, you are right, playing with 10 players does not prevent PSG from still getting three points from Marseille and that is of course very disappointing for the home team because they cannot take advantage of the advantaged number of players, in fact, Marseille had to concede two goals from the team that played no longer with a complete number of players.

Kylian Mbappe was replaced by Gonçalo Ramos in the 65th minute. It was seen by the camera that he didn't like the PSG coach's decision, but because Gonçalo Ramos successfully scored PSG's second goal, of course it was the right decision for Luiz Enrique, and in the interview, Enrique said he didn't care if anyone doesn't like his decision and will do whatever he thinks is best for his team as long as he is still at this Paris club.

Marseille found 22 positions throughout the match, 10 of which reached the target. Despite this, they failed to score a goal, and goalkeeper Donnarumma played a big part in this. He had one of the most important shares of this victory. It is not easy to stay with 10 men and win 2-0 away against Marseille. It seems that Enrique taught them how to play in the best way when they were missing.
Paris Saint Germaine played one of its best games on the field. Although Donnarumma created important positions, the defenders did better. They made the best strategy to play with 10 people. By the way, Beraldo's red card was correct. Marseille was unlucky because they had a goal that was ruled offside and they were unable to fire back into the game.

Because PSG is under Enrique, players labeled as stars can be managed so that players' egos can be lowered. This is proven by Enrique who always pulls out Mbappe continuously in every match. Maybe apart from that, he also wants the team he coaches to get used to playing without Mbappe because next season Mbappe will leave PSG. This is a fantastic victory to increase the team's confidence ahead of the French Cup and UCL League matches.
Luis Henrique can manage well with star players and most of them playing one team not prefer individual skill or ego, the victory against Marseille was most impressive performance behind PSG have to play with ten players since 40th minutes after Lucas Beraldo received red card but success defeating Marseille. Luis Henrique try his tactician without depend on Kylian Mbappe regarding he will leave PSG next season, so far Luis Henrique tactician running well when playing without Mbappe can get the victory.

PSG keep close for winning Ligue 1 tittle this season after having 12 points remaining from the 2nd standings team awhile Brest, three winning matches later enough for winning back to back of Ligue 1 tittle and seems easily with three matches later against Clermont Foot, Lyon and Lorient.

PSG knows what they have to do to get a replacement for Mbappe next season, because in general PSG has the money and also has the ability to recruit other players who can balance the strengths in the PSG team next season. And apart from that, PSG will not immediately be left behind or become weak if Mbappe is left behind, because other teams in the French League also do not have players who are greater than Mbappe. So PSG can still be a team that can continue to dominate League 1 every season.
You are right that PSG must have thought about this long before they lost Kylian Mbappè completely, PSG will not remain silent if they lose a player who is very important for the club, especially in the attack line. PSG will definitely look for a replacement for Mbappe next season, whatever the costs will be. PSG doesn't care because they have the finances to easily recruit potential players. There are several players who have been linked with replacing Mbappe next season. Various rumors have spread widely but have not yet reached a definite agreement, but I'm sure one of them will be Mbappe's replacement striker next season.

Indeed, PSG remains the strongest club in League 1 even though there is no Mbappe, but I think PSG's attacks are not as strong as before like when PSG still had Mbappe, even though other clubs in League 1 do not have the same strength as the players that PSG has, but this is It could be an opportunity for the clubs below to improve their performance, who knows, because PSG no longer has star players, actually I would like to see other clubs in League 1 able to provide competitive competition for PSG so that the matches in League 1 are interesting to watch and win the domestic league title is always different every season.

Luis Enrique really proved that he has the ability to set a good strategy for his team when they have to play with 10 players. Enrique replaced Randal Kolo Muani with Lee Kang-in as the match entered the second half, giving PSG balance in defense and attack. Not only that, Luis Enrique also replaced Kylian Mbappé with Gonçalo Ramos and this strategy also paid off because Gonçalo Ramos managed to answer his coach's trust with a goal.

PSG is too comfortable leading the standings with a gap of 12 points from Brest and 13 points from Monaco. PSG may be able to have a little more freedom in planning player rotation in Ligue 1 and focus on two other competitions including the Champions League and French Cup. PSG will still be fighting to reach the French Cup final before the Champions League quarter-final match.

Since the arrival of coach Enrique, PSG has really changed, they play as a team and are more compact. Enrique is indeed a genius coach, even though PSG received a red card in the first half and the score was still 0-0, they were still able to dominate the game and build attacks so they were able to score two goals. Amazing, it's a shame that PSG during Messi and Neymar's time didn't have a coach like Enrique.

He didn't change PSG by himself because the team was formed because the players in it were consistent and the coach also had a big role. Losing Mbappe will have a slight impact on the style of play because they lose a player who has good abilities, but if the profits from selling Mbappe can be used to buy some of the players they need then I am sure they can overcome Mbappe's departure.

Keeping Mbappe is also not a good decision if they don't buy several other important players, because in the previous few seasons they had a really great attacking trio but the competition in a much higher league was still quite difficult for them to keep up with Now they have a much better coach and just need to find several players to make the team stronger and more solid.

No doubt. Because, even with only 10 players from the 40th minute, PSG were still more dominant, and were even able to score 2 goals after the red card. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Marselle still seemed quite overwhelmed against PSG, and was unable to score a single goal, which ended in Marselle's defeat at home.

Even though this time, Mbappe didn't contribute a single goal, his contribution was still quite good throughout the match. Although, of course, he was annoyed with his boss' decision to pull him out before the match ended.
And what Luis Enrique said, implied his feelings.

The season is already over for PSG in the Ligue 1. They are obviously the champions in this season as well.  Smiley

Now they will look ahead, especially at the Champions League. This season is really important for Luis Enrique at the same time. If he doesn't manage to achieve the Champions League title then his future would be uncertain here. Because winning the Ligue 1 title is an easy work for PSG already. PSG chairman is looking for a manager who can finally bring the Champions League trophy home. For now I'm not thinking like they will be the one to win the title there.

If PSG is certain to win the Ligue 1 trophy this season, then PSG should be able to maximize their current quality to get better results in the Champions League. Their defeat against Marseille some time ago did not have a big impact on them, because they still lead by 12 points from the club which is in 2nd place in the standings. It makes sense when you say that this Ligue 1 season has ended because it is very difficult to catch Paris Saint Germain with the 12 point lead they have.

It looks like they will focus more on the Champions League, where every season they always set high targets when they are in the Champions League. This season they also have a good chance of being in the semifinals after they will face Barcelona. Indeed, Barcelona will also be a difficult opponent for them, but with the situation they are currently experiencing, it slightly opens up their chances of winning this match. Although I personally still have big doubts about them. Their biggest dream is to become champions in the Champions League, which until now they have not been able to achieve, and this season they are trying again.
Agree with you, PSG is quite safe in hoping that this season's Ligue 1 title can be maintained because they are already 12 points ahead of their competitors. The match against Marseille was a bit tiring, especially having to fight with 10 players, but PSG's 0-2 result in that match was quite satisfying.

PSG is sure about Mbappe leaving the team and they are getting ready for it, they wanted to pay a huge amount for Mbappe to extend his contract for a longer time and keep this player in the team but they failed and that's why I think PSG got enough money in the hand to hire more superstar players. Enrique was also ready for it so maybe he is thinking about alternative options to take the place of Mbappe in the team.
Some players like Yamal from Barcelona were linked to PSG and it seems they were ready to pay 200 million euros for this player, however, Vini from Real Madrid can be another option.

I don't think PSG will be willing to give Mbappe an improved contract because is currently one of the highest-paid footballers in the history of football. The club gave the French striker the best financial package the last time he renewed his contract and will let him go if he is not willing to remain with them.

But from all indications, the striker is not influenced by money anymore since he has even agreed to take a pay cut in Real Madrid. He wants to pursue personal glory and the club is preparing for his departure. They are building and bringing in young players and are also on the verge of bringing in a new striker to replace Mbappe.  Strikers like Napoli striker Victor Osinhem have been tipped to replace the Frenchman. But for now, it seems the club is focusing on how to get a good outing in the UCL and they might consider transfers after the campaign.

The player does not want to stay. What is the point of giving him a better contract?

It does not matter how good of a contract they are going to offer him. He is definitely going to leave. Even if they double the money that they are giving him right now, he might actually stay but he is definitely not going to have PSG in his heart.

His mind is somewhere else right now. And he has been able to understand that to become a legend, he has to play in a legendary club and also face legendary competition. You cannot become a legend by staying in PSG where you will not have any competition the whole season. A literal Farmers League. And probably he would have thought about staying if PSG was able to win the Champions League. But they are not able to do that as well. I absolutely agree that he is going to leave PSG and of course PSG has no other options than to get used to it.
