Do you believe in the upcoming match PSG can beat Rennes?
Honestly I'm not too sure even though PSG is in their best form with a new coach. But sometimes a weak team can always thwart a big team to win from previous encounters and Rennes probably knows the best way to hold a draw.
It may not be logical for me to say this but in H2H, Rennes has also beaten PSG 2 times and 1 draw.
It means this match could end in a draw and I prefer to bet on other options than betting on 1x2 with small odds and too risky.

You are right, a club that spends a lot of money in a short time does not guarantee that they will play well. but sometimes spending large amounts of money is also part of long-term planning. but maybe that doesn't happen to Chelsea or Lyon.
Yes, this could be true because looking at the transfers they made this season at least no less than 150 million they have poured in for player overhaul even that is almost the same as PSG poured in this season but it did not have a big impact on Lyon's performance.

The lack of chemistry that is built is still one of the problems currently owned so that teamwork is not too cohesive because some of them are also still in the process of adaptation but of course this has an impact on the start of the season which is not good.
But when looking at Lyon's scheme last season, their chances of developing are still very large because they sometimes always rise towards the middle of the season or the end of the season so now the task of Sage is to build more communication and cooperation of players so that their chemistry runs well so that it creates intimacy that has an impact on performance.

In the French Soccer League match Auxerre vs Brest I hope to enjoy a very nice game in the match of two teams. Which team will win the match between the two teams in this match will be understood only after the start of the game because the team which can perform well will win the match.  If the team performs equally, the match will be more likely to be drawn. My favorite team in this match is Brest. I don't know how well the players of Brest team can perform in this match.

In a prediction you should be able to determine which team has a chance to win before the match starts, or at least you can convince yourself to choose a betting option in a match. But, regarding the match between Auxerre v Brest although Auxerre is playing  at home, the truth is  that Auxerre is also not a favorite to win. Perhaps, because one of the reasons is that Auxerre is a promoted team and so far in Ligue 1 also from the five matches that have been played the fact that Auxerre has only one win and the rest is a loss.

In addition, in the head to head record also that Auxerre always has difficulty when playing against Brest and thus, it would probably make sense if Brest is still enough to be favored to win. But, although Brest is favored to win but that does not mean victory will be easy to get, because as a home team too, ofcourse Auxerre will make efforts to get points. But if I consider their previous results,  it seems that this match will also have interesting goals such as three goals or maybe more, so there are also some interesting options to bet on this match.

I didn't know Lyon spent that much money on their team, they spent 100+ million on transfer net spending and they are still this bad. I thought they would be bad because they didn't had anyone good because I honestly didn't check their squad but looks like they spent so much on players that are so valuable and it is looking like we are seeing a team that is doing so bad even after all of that, that part makes no sense to me at all and I feel like we are talking about a situation that is looking like it is not a smart move at all.

I believe that we are going to see this team recovering eventually but they definitely need to get rid of the manager first before they could get better, otherwise they are not looking good with this current squad managed by this person. They shouldn't be this low and they need to get some greater results without a doubt, they are looking like they are not going to do any better anytime soon because it doesn't look that great at all.
Clubs that spend a lot of money do not guarantee that they will be able to perform well, we can see what Chelsea has experienced in the last few seasons. Yes, they always spend a lot of money to bring in players, but it does not have much impact on their performance in any competition. In fact, they tend to decline and cannot be expected at all. What Chelsea experienced is not the only case that we can see, there are still several other clubs that experience the same thing. I think what Lyon spent is still not comparable to what Chelsea spent, but they also felt the same result, namely not being able to improve their performance to be better. sometimes we see clubs like this just throwing money away.

However with a lot of money spent by the club, of course, expect improvement from the game of its players. if there is no change then what will happen is definitely a complete overhaul of the team. the first to be handled is the coach and maybe some players whose performance is not as expected.

In addition to PSG, Lyon is a team that spends a lot of money in the transfer market this season, so it is undeniable that their current performance is not comparable to the money they have spent, maybe we can still understand if their performance is not consistent but what we see is that Lyon is very down with 3 defeats, one draw and one victory,  When looking at their transfer activity last summer it clearly gives us great hope to see a competitive competition this season in Ligue 1, because not only PSG and Marseille but Lyon also made a lot of good player recruitments, but after they spent more than 100 million euros and are in the current 14th place then maybe a change of coach could be the solution to lift their performance especialy season is still too early.

List of the amount of money spent by the Ligue 1 team to bring in new players in the transfer last summer:

They hoped that we would benefit from them if we buy new sports equipment, but they have invested money but have no experience in buying sports equipment.  Because even after spending so much money, if they don't get a good response, then it is their own fault or the players are not seeing good performance.  But there was a responsibility on these players that what should be done with them if they did not win the matches despite taking so much money.  I just looked at their score book and it looks like Leon is really wasting his money.  They should get some information and look for good players.  But there is not enough time to gradually strengthen them, they should strengthen themselves and start winning matches.  And behind this is their root manager who is not letting them grow strong and wasting their money.

I don't know why big clubs in the league 1 are getting some setback in their performances; it is actually warrying to see clubs that used to compete in the Champions League in the past are now suffering to even make it to the Europa League against small teams that just got promoted some years back. Well, I don't know who to blame especially for Olympique Lyonnais; they have some good quality players that should have help the team to achieve its goal against all these small teams in the League, but it seems like these big players like Lacazate, Wilfred Zaha, Namanja Matic, and other big names are not helping the team, or is the problem from the coach? because with all these big players they are not supposed be out of top four, but these teams with young players like Lille, Nantes, Lense, and others are given us a tough competition in the League from last two season. Nevertheless, Monaco is back again to challange PSG, I hope they will be consistent because I have seen their performance in the Champions League against Barcelona.
Well, this is what we often see in Ligue 1, yes, teams with good performance in the past cannot maintain it until now, even now almost every season there is always a change of teams that can compete at the top. It seems that there is a problem that most teams face so that they become like that and practically only Paris Saint Germain can be consistent with their performance. If things like this continue, then I will not be surprised when there will be many teams that were good in the past have to be relegated one by one because their game has declined every season. This is what makes the competition in Ligue 1 to win the championship title unhealthy, meaning it becomes uninteresting, yes because of that other teams tend to decline every season.
Several players left PSG in the previous season, but PSG's performance was OK in their local league, but Mbappé left their club for Real Madrid in the last season, so now the question is naturally raised about the performance of this team, how this team can perform this season. However, so far in all the matches this team has played this season, the results have been in their favor. Spanish star Dembele is doing his job well after leaving Mbappe. With the players that are still there, I think PSG will definitely win the French league with these players. Even if they play like this this season, they will surely think about signing players next season and if they can re-sign quality players to the club then this club's chances of doing well in the Champions League will increase a lot.

What I want to say about this match was that Paris Saint-Germain played football with one goal in mind, like a training match. Girona could not attack at all throughout the match. They tried to repel Paris Saint-Germain’s attacks. I look at the statistics and see that Paris Saint-Germain took 26 shots. Only five of them found the goal. In fact, they had a problem here in the match. Their accurate shot rate was quite low. Still, they managed to leave the match with three points, which was important for them. However, to tell the truth, Paris Saint-Germain could have scored 4-5 goals in this match. They scored the winning goal in the 90th minute.

If it was a victory at the last minute, it would really leave Girona very bored. Personally, I have always said that winning is winning, it does not matter when it is done, the important thing is that they win. Well, I could think that they were lucky, but that should not be discredited either. I have seen games of other teams where the favorite always arrives and does not score goals, makes many shots at the goal, and then the other team that was practically submissive scores the goal and wins So that is something that leaves many people bewildered and that can happen in football , they are the toughest games when it is one's favorite, but in this case PSG did well.

PSG's victory in the Champions League in my opinion is more towards luck on their side because if we look at the match, it looks like PSG players couldn't score 1 goal even though they had tried hard to score, but in football it takes smart tactics and Girona player were so tight in maintaining defense but who would have thought that their own players made mistakes and finally created an own goal that benefited PSG.
It doesn't matter even though it was in the last minutes but a club that has a lot of experience playing in the Champions League should have been able to teach Girona a lesson with an impressive victory but PSG actually looked difficult to win.

Lyon is a club that used to have a history in the French League but as has been said, their performance is currently and last season is quite bad and makes them below the current standings, they can only get 4 points from 5 matches, 1 win, 1 draw and the rest lost, quite worrying with this club at this time but that's every team must experience ups and downs and Lyon is experiencing it.

Thinking about them being relegated I don't think it will happen because they are not too bad compared to the other teams below them Lyon still has the ability and moreover this is just the beginning of the league and there are still many matches they have to prepare for and I think they can still avoid the relegation zone and perform well at the end of the season.
Lyon having a history does mean a lot, because it does give them a great value and it should be something that they are using right now. When you have a history of winning, you end up with something that is taking some time but can be great for you financially, it gives you some fandom and some income and they do have that.

Even proven by the amount of money they spent, that's all thanks to them having a good history and I think it should be something that is not really that complicated to begin with and I believe that the best thing to do right now would be just focusing on how to get greater results on the long term as well. I think they are looking like they are making a mistake right now but I think they are going to eventually figure out what the problem is.

Lyon is currently ranked 14th in the Ligue1 standings and it is really very worrying because the position is very close to the relegation position in Ligue1 so Lyon must be able to rise in several matches in order to continue to survive in Ligue1 because Lyon is indeed a team that has a good history in Ligue1 even though it is not a winner of many trophies in Ligue1. And what happened to Lyon when they faced Marseille at home was certainly inseparable from Lyon's strength which was no longer balanced with the strength possessed by Marseille this season.

Last season Lyon was also very bad, but Lyon managed to rise and managed to finish in a very good position and it was also surprising of course. But unfortunately, with Lyon's success last season, it was related to the success of making very good improvements, but the effort did not continue until this season because Lyon still had a bad start this season. So, because last season Lyon had results like that, and even though this season Lyon had bad results, at least it did not make a complete worry because maybe the results last season were also evidence that Lyon might repeat it again this season.

But indeed, maybe the worry is if Lyon fails to get a recovery like this season and if Lyon fails to make a recovery, then of course Lyon might be threatened with relegation. It doesn't matter about the great achievements that Lyon had in the past with their consecutive trophy wins, because if Lyon fails in this era then Lyon will still make great efforts not to be relegated and to return to being a team that competes in the upper zone of the standings.

In the most important and last game of the week, the action didn't stop for a minute. Lyon hosted Marseille at home. Although Balerdi left his team with 10 men in the 5th minute, Marseille put up a great fight. Marseille deserve credit for beating their opponents 3-2 away with 10 men. Towards the end of the first half, Lyon's Lacazette failed to capitalize on a penalty. Despite this, Lyon started the second half fast and took the lead. Marseille, on the other hand, did not give up the match despite being down to 10 men and brought the score to 2-1. In extra time, first Lyon equalized the score and then Rowe scored the winning goal for Marseille.

In the last two matches played by Marseille, the team coached by De Zerbi's squad has always been unlucky because their players were given red cards. Like in the match against Lyon, Balerdi left the field in the fifth minute because he received a red card. Feeling lucky, Lyon benefited because their opponents played with 10 players. In the 53rd minute, Duje Caleta Car broke the deadlock by scoring a goal from Clinton Mata's assist. Unfortunately, the home team's superiority could not be maintained because Marseille was able to return the score. Even with 10 players, De Zerbi's team continued to work hard to finish this match with maximum points. The score was 2-2, unfortunately at the end of injury time, Jonathan Rowe completed his team's victory. With this result, Marseille is now back in second place and has 13 points, the same as the leader of the standings. It seems that the Ligue 1 competition is quite exciting in the future.

Lyonnais football team played well in this match and that match was high voltage match because both teams played well and millions of people watched this match on the screen.  Marseille football team was favorite for that match and they gave good performance and they proved that they are winners and they can do well  against any team. Lirola did first goal for his team and he gained attention of the audience and at that time score was 1-1 . After that we saw different situation when Garcia did second goal for his team and he did goal at 82 minutes .Cherki did goal at the 90+3 minutes of the match and he did score equal but in the end ,Rowe did last goal of the match and won the hearts of the fans.

I wanted to check out the odds for the Ligue 1 championship.

Of course PSG are the absolute favourite to make it. Nobody doubts that after seeing the way they started the season.  Smiley  Monaco are given a bigger chance than Marseille. I wasn't expecting that. Because after leaving 5 weeks behind, I must admit Marseille have impressed me a little more. They look more capable in the attacking line especially.

I'm looking forward to watching the first game between them. It can be really interesting. And lastly I hope one of them manages to stay in the title race with PSG for a long time. I know it isn't easy but it would make the season more fun.  Roll Eyes

Talking about relegation we are too early to see that, the season has only started five matches it is not a thing that can be taken into account, even though the team is now in the relegation zone once they have many opportunities to bounce back because the point has not had a very far gap, but it is true that Lyon is not in good shape, even facing Marseille who has 10 players after the fifth minute does not make Lyon able to win the match easily, instead it makes them lose when dealing with a team of only 10 players, it's a bit embarrassing in my opinion, Marseille is good at playing its rhythm when defending then attacking.

PSG never gave a second thought to spending money, but despite spending so much money, they achieved nothing. They have won consecutive domestic league titles but have not fared much better in the Champions League.

In the history of the Champions League, PSG has played in the Champions League final only once against Bayern Munich and Neymar and Mbappe contributed a lot there but unfortunately they could not win that match. PSG then bought several players for significant sums of money but without success. The biggest reason behind their lack of success was trying to manage experienced players with inexperienced managers. If a good quality manager had been appointed to the club earlier and if that good quality manager had managed the previous PSG team well then this team would have had a Champions League title by now.

We often discuss it from season to season, until the era of Luis Enrique's coaching. what you say we agree, even I have often said it in discussions in various threads related to Paris Saint-Germain. the mega star project initiated by Naser Al Khelaifi failed miserably to make PSG the number one club in the European League, I mean by realizing their dream of winning the Champions League trophy. they do not hesitate to spend a lot of money to bring in players even with high transfer values, not a few have been recruited but have not become Champions League champions. well, there are various factors that are the cause of why PSG has not been able to realize its dream so far. the reasons have been conveyed in this post, besides the team's strength is not balanced in various lines. I mean, PSG is sharp in the front line but in some positions they are weak. some PSG coaches tend to rely on their mega star players rather than involving teamwork. it does not mean that PSG does not play as a team, but rather emphasizes its star players too much. under Enrique's tutelage PSG is now slowly building the foundation first, they do not have mega star players at this time, teamwork is more emphasized. although not yet reaching its best level, at least PSG performed well without relying on its star players. because, now they do not have them. maybe, slowly they will reach the time when their dreams can come true. although, it seems not for now.

The Girona team was very strong last season. The team performed well throughout the season. And for a long time the top spot in the table was occupied by Girona. So the team was able to qualify for the Champions League. Girona was third in the table at the end of the season.

As Girona qualified for the Champions League, they should have looked to strengthen the squad. Then Girona would have gradually become a club of the first line of La Liga and Europe. But Girona management was not interested in spending money. So their squad is not strong enough this season.

Girona's goal against PSG was to finish the match goalless and gain 1 point. I didn't see any tendency to score among the Girona players. Girona played defensively in the whole match.
