A good gambling night for me as PSG just delivered over 3.5 in their match against Rennes. I think PSG will win the French title this season even though many people doubted that following the departure of Kylan Mbappe to Real Madrid. I think today is a good day for gambler as all the major teams like Borussia Dortmund won with good goals. Glad both teams delivered my over2.5 and over 3.5 that I play them always depending on who they meet.

It was PSG's home game, and seriously, I was not having any doubt about PSG winning the match. I knew that PSG wouldn't give Rennes any opportunity to either win or draw. However, the truth is that I was expecting more goals from PSG than just these three, because I felt that Rennes underperformed. In this game, both teams really played well. Rennes even performed better than I expected, as I didn't anticipate them creating up to five chances. In fact, they were even able to score a goal. As champions, PSG's next match is around the corner against Arsenal. I believe PSG will use the few days they have to prepare for the match because Arsenal will be very tough opponent for them.

PSG managed to win easily, and the additional three points confirmed their position at the top of the Ligue 1 standings. The victory is certainly valuable capital for PSG, because next they will face Arsenal in the Champions League. Personally, I still believe PSG will be able to maintain their dominance in domestic competition, although this season Marseille looks quite serious about pressing PSG in the standings. I think that kind of pressure is very much needed, to make Ligue 1 more competitive and interesting to follow.

Meanwhile, in the Champions League, PSG were very lucky to beat Girona, but that luck seems like it will be difficult to recreate if they don't play better. Arsenal are currently quite tough, they were even able to provide fierce resistance to Man City in the Premier League. I think PSG will have difficulty beating Arsenal at the Emirates, in fact I tend to think PSG will lose points. We'll see if Enrique can lead his squad to victory, which is clear without Mbappe victory is difficult to achieve in the Champions League.

PSG's players continue to dominate Ligue 1. The team played well in today's match as well. And in the end, PSG won by a big margin of 3-1. Although I thought PSG will win this match by a narrow margin. As they are going to face Arsenal in the Champions League match a few days later, the team will play very carefully in this match, I thought. Because for Luis Enrique, performing well in the Champions League matches is definitely more important at the moment. But PSG players have given full effort to win this match as well.

Currently both teams are performing very impressively and it seems that they will both be contenders for the Ligue 1 title this season. PSG performed well even though they no longer have Mbappe in their squad. It is a little different from the previous season where they always gave the ball to Mbappe. But it must be admitted that Mbappe is a great finisher and giving the ball to him is the right decision. And it seems that I see PSG playing more solidly and more dynamically as a team.

It is now obvious that Mbappe is not PSG like we thought because before he left, people were scared that PSG would fall. You're right about that history, we all remember it. PSG really improved after the acquisition of ownership, the positive impact was that they dominated the title with the quality and depth of their squad. Not many teams can stop this dominance, but it is not impossible.

This season is still very long and as time goes by it is likely that some teams will experience changes in performance. Companies that are currently performing well may be able to maintain their performance, while others may decline or even increase. PSG also has a big chance of retaining its title this season even though several rival teams continue to put pressure in the points competition.

Olympique Lyonnais which is one of the biggest club in French Ligue 1 and having great history in just 74 years in last one decade is suffering badly even in last season more than half season they spend in relegation zone and mostly peoples were fearing for them to be relegated, and then we have impressive fightback from them even they have done good job and having their spot into UEFA Europa Cup but in this season things are not going as mostly were needed with having just one win from their five games and three defeats clearly indicating how poor start they are having.

French Ligue needs some good changes which are essential for their better future and improved quality but sadly FFF fail to bring anything positive which is surely dilemma for them in last few years we are having huge drop in quality and consistency with many big clubs are facing financial issues and having not quality players hopefully they will think about this, and we will have good changes which will bring good improvement in near future.

Now we are mainly talking about domination of PSG in Ligue 1 but some years before PSG starting their domination in this league, it was domination era of Lyon.

Let's see history of Ligue 1 and the league champions to see domination of both Lyon and PSG. Lyon win 7 Ligue 1 titles from 2001 to 2008 and PSG win 10 titles from 2012 to 2024, both of them have impressive domination. It's 17 years since a last season Lyon won Ligue 1 title and they're not ready to lift it again in this season.

There is no doubt that nowadays, teams with greater financial power are able to achieve good results when compared to teams with less financial power. Teams with less financial power have to settle for players with less ability and at the end of the day, teams with greater financial power win the leagues. We only need to see that this has been happening in La Liga (only Real Madrid or Barcelona have beaten them), the Premier League (Manchester City have been dominating the league for years) and in Ligue 1 (PSG). This scenario will not change.

But at least for now:

We are seeing that the League is competitive, it is not yet possible to say which team will be champion, I hope we see this scenario until the last round of the league. I know that this is something very difficult to happen.

Honestly I'm not too sure even though PSG is in their best form with a new coach. But sometimes a weak team can always thwart a big team to win from previous encounters and Rennes probably knows the best way to hold a draw.
It may not be logical for me to say this but in H2H, Rennes has also beaten PSG 2 times and 1 draw.

Fatigue could be the major reasons why PSG find it difficult to win as expected in the game but watching the game they weren't playing better like a team that ought to take all 3 points in the game. Going on against Rennes they have to win to regain their confidence else their fans will start complaining.

I don't blame PSG for what happened and talking about experience, I don't think they are the kind of team you'd talk about experience when you want to defend them because when it comes to champions league they (PSG) have been very poor in terms of performance so they can't be addressed as a team that have experience that for me, experience for what?
