Once a PSG fan when Neymar Messi and Ramos performed together for PSG and at that time I followed France Ligue very well but not as much as it used to be. Lyon is once again starting the season terribly, and the financial trouble they are in is beyond recovery point, they basically put up every player on sale and they are having trouble building a squad that can do fine.
I mean surely they are losing money but they can't keep being this bad, they barely survived relegation last season, while they finished well and high up, they were at the bare bottom for first part of the season, they only recovered later on. They can't keep doing that every season, eventually they will drop and Lyon dropping is not a normal thing considering their past.
For younger generation here, Lyon was what PSG is right now, they won so many titles in a row and looked like the most dominant power and they were good in Europe as well. So becoming this from that is not an easy achievement and I hope to see Lyon do better, losing these games is troubled but Marseille is a great team so maybe we can give a break for this game alone.

Lyon started last season with a bad performance too. they usually have bad starts and lose many points even Lyon was about to get relegated in the last season because of being in the last place of the table but they got improved in the half-season and using a new coach was working in this team.
Now once again, this team is having bad days at the start of the seasonnad they should hope to see some improvement during the summer.

With these results, it might be a sign that there is still a big chance for PSG to be defeated when PSG later plays against a stronger team and or a better team. PSG having a draw is certainly a shock and a quite good chunk of money lost for me but it's fine, I had some good games on UCL this week and La Liga was quite profitable so I ended up in profit all together this week, and one loss didn't really change much, I also lost on United too but that's fine, other games were all wins.
I think it's clear that we are going to end up with PSG getting good results again and again, but have some bad games like this along the way, they can't finish the season with 100% win rate, they have to lose points somewhere. I believe that draw was a disgrace level of display on how they played, it's not the score, of course they can draw, but it was how they played, they played terrible all game long.

But at least, based on head to head records, it looks like Reims is indeed a team that always manages to hold PSG to a draw but even that can be a normal result when it comes to their head to head results. In the most important and last game of the week, the action didn't stop for a minute. Lyon hosted Marseille at home.
