Yes, it's hynix MJR memory.
SRB miner works with worksize 8 and threads 2. Playing only with intensity gives higher results. In GGS maximum result achived with intensity is 3-5% lower.
Maybe his cryptonights kernels better? Or something else... You must know about it more ))))
Notices:
His intensity works onother way, than GGS, thats means, i think, that his CN kernel builded another way?
Best results on SRB is on intensity 64,72,80,94,108
Intensity higher 112-116 starts to give drops in speed to 0 h/s (close to 8Gb memory used???)
On GGS best results on my hynix MJR is only on 128 or 144 intensity. Any other vairants of intensity gives slower speed. Different mod bioses tried - same dependenses.
Maybe it helps you to understand where the dog is buried...
Other cards can achieve 1k+ as well, it depends on the memory and asic of the cards.
You make it sound like Nitro+ are then only good cards out there
About the kernels; I think that both kernels for CryptoNight, GGS's and SRBMiner's are taken from SG-Miner-GM, which means that both are written by zawawa
Maybe i'm wrong and Doktor83 wrote his own kernel, but i doubt it, i'll ask him.
But, like I've said before, its strange how i cant come close to SG-Miner hashing speed with GGS although you wrote both kernels dude
Anyway, kudos to both developers for trying hard, although zawawa took on a much much bigger project that is gonna take a lot of time to perfect.
I hope your doing OK dude, i know how much dedication it takes to create something like this and what impact it has on social life.
I will test the new version and see if its lighter as you say, because my main concern here is the UI and how much impact it actually has on the speed and system, not to be rude or anything, but for my taste its getting way to much bloated.
There really are a ton of options in there, and that's great as it shows you have the big picture, but personally i don't need 95% of them if i'm mining a single algorithm.
Since there is so much of everything i think that in the future i would be wise to offer an option to select a single or all algos option at the start so we can only keep setting for the algo we are actually using.
I think that it would
lighten things up even further.
And of course, to ensure your well being, income, further development and good support like we had so far, you probably want to attract a wide crowd of people mining different algos.
Maybe i'm wrong and your doing this just for fun
But i think there is quite a big section of miners that are avoiding you miner just because of the UI; CMD based miners tend to be lighter, faster & more stable, which was recently, and still is, a success story for Doktor83 that attracted many Cryptonight miners.
Off to test the new version
