606 is quiet, 80mm fan not sure of the width. No fan control I'm aware of but it's not needed I could take this to a cafe and mine all day. Maybe some odd looks but it's not going to bother anyone.

Evil beware: We have waffles!
Saw this on amazon, pretty excited to see a new hobbyist miner with a decent hashrate and efficiency, I honestly would probably just run it on CKs solo pool still.

What fans are on these btw? I figure they can't be too noisy.

Um, perhaps read the 1st post where the miner is described?

... What fans are on these btw? I figure they can't be too noisy.

The noise depends on 2 things:
1) Heat sink design
2) Air flow required

You're not gonna reduce the sound much by changing the fans as long as they aren't small/tiny fans (which they aren't).

I'm definitely interested in grabbing one or two - are any shops accepting bitcoin for payment? if not, will have to wait a week or two and hope there's still some stock

Well you've done all the calculations below for the new run,
So I'll just add in the pool numbers to compare Smiley

Run R606-d0s5r004*:  Approaching 960GH/s
    UI Run Average : 904.4GH/s - (diff x 2^32 per nonce)
Pool Accepted  : 904.9GH/s (client side)

        A = 18228076 / 86899 * 2 ^ 32 = 900.9;  900.9/904.4 = 99.6%.
        A + R = 18309284 / 86899 * 2 ^ 32 = 904.9;  904.9/904.4 = 100%.

*Adjusted to only count hashrate on successful submit_nonce (test_nonce)

http://23.108.83.14/images/R606-d0s5r004-00.JPG

R606-d0s5r004 : Summary of stats:

Code:
[2019-04-24 07:00:13.630] Started at [2019-04-23 06:50:51.565]
 [2019-04-24 07:00:13.630] Runtime: 24 hrs : 9 mins : 22 secs
 [2019-04-24 07:00:13.630] Average hashrate: 904048.5 Mhash/s
 [2019-04-24 07:00:13.630] Accepted shares: 32627
 [2019-04-24 07:00:13.631] Accepted difficulty shares: 18228076

There were a number of (short) reconnects during this run, so that also may have lowered the hash rate a tiny bit (but not much)

The first connect was: [2019-04-23 11:50:50.483+00] Authorised client ... worker ... R606-d0s5r004 ...
The last share was: [2019-04-24 12:00:09+10]
Thus elapsed is: 24hrs 9mins 19sec = 86959sec
Shares accepted: 32677
Difficulty accepted: 18267544.0

There's 50 extra shares at the pool, but anyway the results are:
Diff * 2^32 / Time = 18267544.0 * 2^32 / 86959 = 902.2 GH/s

The MinersSupply GekkoScience R606 Terminus has been going strong on power level 7 for nearly 24 hours now,  using the following settings:

Code:
cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://nya.kano.is:3333 -u xXxXx.R606 -p x --gekko-newpac-freq 775

Here is the cgminer screenshot from that run:

https://i.postimg.cc/HkMfGpDx/R606-CGMINER-NEW-2.jpg

Going with the last run/start to stop:
[2019-04-24 21:31:50+00] Authorised client ... worker ... R606 ...
Last share: [2019-04-25 19:06:27+00]
Thus elapsed is: 21hrs 34min 37sec = 77677sec
Shares accepted: 3841
Difficulty accepted: 15740418.0 (all 4098 Diff)

Diff * 2^32 / Time = 15740418.0 * 2^32 / 77677 = 870 GH/s

No, I don't think you need to match the pool, just ensure you are counting nonces based on the nonce difficulty in the chip
(and valid nonces)

Applied to the second posted run below (R606-d0s5r004).
Also deceased the difficulty to lower variance.
Looking better.

Yep when you've done, I'll go back and add up everything on the pool side and spit out another number for this run.

Cool. There's one running 544 instead of 550, and one that's down closer to 500 which I'm really disappointed with (could be a junk chip) but the rest are running well. My end says 10.4GH, but this isn't VH's bleeding-edge build. It's around a week old.
They're still running ok so I'll wait until tomorrow to do the stats (almost midnight here now)
The hash rate so far is varying from 9TH/s to 11TH/s over the last 22 shifts.

Any better idea on ship date? Next week, week after? I know you are waiting on stuff and then you have to box & ship.
But, it's been a while since I saw a piece of gear that I really wanted to play with.

Thanks,

Testing out a testing setup.

http://www.kano.is/worker.php?a=1BURGERAXHH6Yi6LRybRJK7ybEm5m5HwTr.r606-test3

14 pods, 550MHz (750GH) each for 10.5TH ideally. It's still ramping up now but if you want to get some stats it'll be going for at least a few hours.
Well it's pulling in an average over 10THs on the last 5 (full) shifts so far - doing well.
I'll do a time range calc later today from 'Apr‑23 17:00:00 UTC' for as many hours as possible.
