Interesting fact: In the stadium from Holstein Kiel only 15,000 spectators fits. They already have a special licence from the DFL for Bundesliga 2 and would also need it for Bundesliga 1. If they will not get it, they would have to move to another stadium.

After St. Pauli lost the game against Karlsruhe they have also lost the game against Elversberg. St. Pauli led twice, but Elversberg won by one goal more in the end. Very exciting matchday and a lot has happened at the top and bottom of the table. Karlsruhe has a run and they managed to beat St. Pauli. This gives St. Pauli only 2 points ahead from Kiel and Kiel will have even more motivation to reach place 1.
The battle for place 3 will continue between Düsseldorf and Hamburger SV at the next matchday. Hannover has not managed to get closer with a win.

Schalke’s performance has been inconsistent and that has cost them to move towards the relegation zone, a team that has been performing well and have had Champions League appearances in the past years got relegated from the Bundesliga and are now struggling in the 2nd division Bundesliga which is actually sad to see them struggle. Hamburg have been trying to promote to the Bundesliga for many years but still no result. He got really close in the recent two seasons by playing promotion games but still they can't make it. 
They are fighting for the third position right now and it doesn't look like they will be able to finish in top two once again. Hamburger is not going to get a promotion in my opinion. I actually believe that they will have to fight for a promotion in the next season as well. The difference in points are pretty big right now between them and the team which is in the second position. But their being in the third position at the end of the season is possible.
