I don't see any reason on why someone would knowingly use some funds to gamble and then feel remorse later on. In most cases, remorse is felt when there is a loss after gambling and also when the funds used in gambling was originally budgeted for something important.

In lots of cases, people go out of their way to borrow funds believing in some sort of luck that they would make a profit and be able to pay back the loan. And when things doesn't go as thought out and there are losses, that's when you would then be thinking more clearly and remorse sets in.
One strong reason that makes them so sure is that their money will be able to multiply if they manage to win, but most people only see the victory, never once thinking that they can too and really can experience defeat. You said very true things, it's not uncommon for me to see someone willing to take out a loan just to gamble, and they have the belief that they will get a win to pay off their debt. I don't understand why they can be so sure, it's a gamble, that they can win if luck comes their way.

depending on what the person is gambling for?
I mean everyone has different goals like gambling for fun or gambling to double the money.

Most gamblers who regret at the end of the game are on average gamblers who want to double their money or make a living at gambling, because if they gamble just for fun they will not regret it when they lose, especially at the end of the game, gamblers who are just having fun will usually stop when they have reached own satisfaction and feel happy when playing.

But gamblers who are looking for money usually never feel satisfied when they win a little where they should stop playing but instead continue playing and eventually experience defeat, then realize at the end of the game and regret it.

Well I think it's normal to have that sort of feeling when you lose, thinking you could've done better, bet on the other side, or bet a smaller amount. However, I think most gamblers don't really think about it too much unless they lose a big amount of money. I do experience it sometimes, regretting my decisions but I always try to move on and not to think about it that much.

It could be either a bad thing or a good thing. It becomes a bad thing when the person cannot move on from it and keep on thinking/worrying about his losses cause it may lead to a bigger problem. On the other hand, it becomes a good thing when the person takes it positively and learns about the situation. They can use the experience to avoid being in the same situation again when it comes to gambling.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

Remorse is guilt.
The only times when I have felt remorse after gambling was the times that I gambled at the times i was supposed to be working on some important project. That is, I used the time allocated for something important to gambling and didn't get the task done as at when I said I would get it done.

The second time I felt remorse was when I gambled out of my budget. I had already set my gambling budget for the week and everything was going well. But the after experiencing a few losses, I thought let me try one last time. I would win. I used the money slated for something else to gamble. I lost again. I felt guilt and ashamed of myself.

There was a time when I think about the days when I was betting $2k max as my daily gambling budget. Maybe it was not that of a big deal that time when I had the luxury to do it but yeah, I did some thinking before if I only invested or HODL those coins for the long term. But did not come to a point where I felt remorseful.

Anyways, I don't have to delve into the past since there is nothing we can do to change it. But people that felt remorse might be a good sign since they realized that they gambled beyond their means. I will never say gambling is bad since I am doing it at a young age and even up to now and I am fine with it for as long as we gamble responsibly. Gambling is just a form of entertainment just like when we are spending money to drink and party, travel, and many more. Everything is not good when overdone.

so, from these 2 options, you can make sure that gamblers who gamble are just for fun, of course they use money that they can afford to lose, so every time they lose or lose money, they won't regret it. but on the one hand someone who considers gambling as a place to multiply money, of course they always increase the amount of bets and will always regret after losing all their money and think about not continuing gambling. but I'm sure that kind of person will continue to gamble when he has money in his savings.

Once you do feel out that deep regret then for sure you would already have learnt up something basing up on what you had done.Good thing? Yes,.if you do make out some realizations on which it did give out that kind of learning on which it would really be making you more wiser and much aware on next sessions that you would make on which you would really be needing to draw a line when it comes to limitation on dealing up with gambling. Bad thing is that on the time that you would really be ignoring out such stuff and still continue and desperately push up yourself just because you are trying out to prove something on whats into your mind.
Its really a very common scenario on which you would really be having that kind of regret on the time that you do lose money. You would be mainly thinking that what if those money that had lost should be used on
other means or much more worth on where it do make out this kind of feeling that it should really be retrieve it back and this is where it do starts on chasing up losses.
That means he can feel what it feels like to lose money. If he could realize it, he would think he could use the money for something other than just gambling. If he could feel prolonged regret, maybe his mind would immediately say that he should just stop gambling instead of losing money which, if calculated, the total amount could be bigger than he imagined. But most people will not listen to his heart and think it is nonsense because later they can get victory too. Let's hope that doesn't happen to us so we don't experience too many defeats and can still control ourselves.

Regret only for gamblers who have limited money or money spent at the gambling table for other needs.
This is what I am thinking, remorse or regret is only happening to those gamblers that are guilty to themselves that they've spent the money that's not for them and not for gambling.

We get to see these stories a lot of times and they'll never show that when they're feeling happy at the start of their gamble. But then, when they're losing and it's about to empty their bankrolls, that's when the remorse starts to exist for them.

There was a time in my life when I fell into the trap of gambling. I lost everything, not only my money but also the money that was intended as part of starting a business with my friends. It was a long time ago, but the memory always reminds me that I lost not only money but also a friend whom I let down. Since then, I have been diligently avoiding all playgrounds, although at the first tryouts of the game, I was lucky. I understood one thing for myself: if someone is gambling, then it is better not to take risks; gambling is quite cruel, and it is necessary to be able to stop in time.
I understand how this actually feels, I was once an addict when it comes to virtual games online and this act almost ruined me in my days in school. Back then in my third year in the university, I gambled away my whole school fees meant to clear me for my exams and I was completely devastated and it was like am already in hell and confusion was just what was all over me and I had to do the inevitable while lying to save my ass from this situation I had to lie to my uncles and aunts in other to gather the funds needed for my tuition and that marked the day of my gambling addiction because I knew if I continued this act my whole life would be ruined by this and i strickly gave myself a jurisdiction on my gambling.

Regret only for gamblers who have limited money or money spent at the gambling table for other needs. Defeats and wins are only between black and white eyes. If you still feel regret when you lose at the gambling table, never gamble. The gambling table is a place to have fun, winning is luck, while losing is inevitable. When your goal is to come to a gambling place just to win, of course you will regret it when you lose.

When I gamble and lose, my regret fills me with a bad feeling. And when gambling can win, it gives a lot of motivation to gamble. When gambling, one must bet with confidence in order to win the bet. When I lose I lose hope in betting and always feel that I will never bet again. But a gambler always gambles with the aim of winning and even if they lose, they have confidence in gambling. If a gambler loses his money, he is motivated to gamble because he is addicted to gambling, and he regrets that he will gamble later and win.

Yes, I often regretted when I started gambling for fun but then added some more money and lost more money than I had planned. But to make a general comment I don't regret that I gambled. This is due to the fact that I usually only gamble for fun with low budgets. As I mentioned, I rarely spend more than I planned when I gamble for fun and I only feel regret in such cases.
In my own way, I don't think anyone who gambles except in such exceptional circumstances should feel such remorse because gambling is a means of entertainment not a means of gain.

   -  If it is realized like that, it means that it will be good for him. Then we know that gambling is just good as a hobby, and if we win here it's just a bonus and don't take it too seriously and think that it will always happen.

Because if that's how we think, it's not unlikely that you will eventually develop an addiction to playing gambling for sure that if you neglect it, it can affect you and your family with bad results.

The usual thing that people get is to regret their decisions. For example, if you gamble and you win, imagine if you didn't take that risk at that time for sure you'd never got the profit gains; another scenario is if you lose another regret in your side that you didn't play gambling, but once a player deposits a game for sure they fully decided to play gambling. Life is all about risk, so the same as playing a game. There's a lot of doubt and what-ifs in your decisions once you play. To answer those is, of course, you will try, no matter what happens in your game, and taking loss its sure regret on your side. But at the end of the day gambling makes people entertained so they get satisfaction people doing gambling as source of income without prior assurance of winning.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

Of course, it's human nature to be remorseful after you play, specially if you are losing more than you can afford. So it's hard to have that kind of emotion, that's why we said that we should be playing the money that we can afford to lose without any attachments and we can sleep after that and then go back to our normal lives.

But if it persists on the following days, then something might not be right for the individual. Maybe the money he lost is supposedly spend on something very important. And due to the person's addiction, he didn't think about it until it's too late and that is the sign that the individual might become a gambling addict.

Remorse is a feeling that accompanies something bad that you have done. Your perception of gambling is what will determine if you will be remorseful after you have gambled or not.

How you also gamble and the money you use in gambling with determine if you will be remorseful too or not.

if it is your personal money that you have allocated for gambling you would feel no remorse but if it is some money that you have planned for some other use but could not hold yourself from the temptation of using it to gamble you will definitely feel some regret.

All gamblers suffered from remorse and animosity and its but natural because playing in casinos is like a roller coaster ride, you win then you lose you regain your losses then you lose everything, and it's really depressing if you win a big amount and you are being questioned and accuse of violating the terms even though you are 100% sure that you are clean.

Even the best and most experienced gamblers experienced animosity for taking risks because the risk is part of gambling, you'll be lying to yourself if you think that it's okay to lose, especially if your losses come after winning big amounts and you let it slip away.

if that you went home with the little balance left in your pocket there is no way you would have entirely lose everything, and also often happened to those who are after chasing lose.

Keep trying to make a single win and ended up losing everything ever earn, that is why at any given time you strike a winning do not continue to gamble thinking another cool opportunity would come again.
But the truth is that almost all gamblers find it hard to walk out with little money in your  hand after you might have lost a lot of cash while gambling instead they will prefer to lose everything and be content with the fact that everything is gone than go home with a small portion of the cash you used in gambling because that little cash in your hands can make you feel regret of why ever going to play in the first place. But notwithstanding it is unwise to lose everything at once because they say "HE WHO FIGHTS AND RUNS AWAY, LIVES TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY

The fact is, all gamblers are always positive during gambling because they felt opportunities and luck are always gotten from the last chance being their last card. Lemme take myself for instance, I have been in condition where i fund my online account and decides to place some bet although i have a target to only used about 30 percent of what i funds in the account to gamble, i ended up almost using 70 to 80 percent of what i initially fund to gamble without know that i won't still get the winning at last, I just tried to leave the remaining 20 percent to gamble for another day otherwise i would had ended up spending all at a go.
