If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

I don't see any reason on why someone would knowingly use some funds to gamble and then feel remorse later on. In most cases, remorse is felt when there is a loss after gambling and also when the funds used in gambling was originally budgeted for something important.

In lots of cases, people go out of their way to borrow funds believing in some sort of luck that they would make a profit and be able to pay back the loan. And when things doesn't go as thought out and there are losses, that's when you would then be thinking more clearly and remorse sets in.
Nothing wrong with managing gambling if one sets a monthly expenditure and manages his gambling accordingly. But if the necessary money is used for gambling then only problems are created. I have seen some gamblers who spend a large part of their monthly salary on gambling and later take out loans to support their families. After gambling like this for a while, they not only lose money but also destroy the family. It is not unusual for those who lose large amounts of money to gamble to suffer from regret.

Almost every single gambler will have remorse if they have lost everything to gambling, you don't realize that you are losing everything until at the end, you see that a very small amount is remaining from your game account and then you start thinking that you should gamble this as well only with the hope that maybe you manage to win something big from it, and when that doesn't happen, that is where it starts.

You might not feel remorse if you were gambling with a limited budget that you had set only for gambling, in such a case, you won't feel that bad because you already have made up your mind that you might win but you may lose as well.

Just once, I had it so terribly because it was the first ever money I earned and then I lost it on gambling and I swore off gambling for a long time after that, didn't gamble for god knows how long. When I came back, I had that in mind and I knew that gambling is a net loss and there is no winning here.

Doesn't mean that every single time you gamble you will end up with a loss, I had those crazy 100x or more returns as well, definitely was a fun feeling when I won that but even then I knew that I will not be earning anything from it and the long run I will lose at least that much as long as I kept on trying. This is why I ended up limiting my budget very well and I do not end up gambling excess amount, no need to risk anything for something I know I am going to lose.
That's definitely a good decision to have a limited budget for gambling and not spend everything that you earn or have on gambling only with the hope that you might win more than what you have as we all know the house always wins in the long run, so whatever you make in gambling will eventually be lost if you don't know when to stop, and even if you stop at that moment when you've won something, you will still gamble it back later if you don't limit your gambling budget.

I don't think that there will be even a single gambler out there who doesn't feel remorse for losing something big or very important ever in their lives in gambling, it happens to everyone but some will learn from it and others will still continue gambling.

If he loses money by gambling, he will surely regret it for a short time. Be it me or anyone else, any person will regret after losing a bet and that is normal. But the person who does not come to this repentance must realize that the person is totally addicted to gambling and he is going to destroy his life.
Depends on the losses. If it's a big one, yes but if not, no. Until now do you still regret it? But how much is the amount you are playing anyway? You should have lowered it according only to your capacity but if it's already small, it would be better to stay away from gambling because too much regret is not healthy anymore or maybe you can play gambling with no money involved. That could still entertain you, if you are only playing for the same purpose and not for the profit.

I don't regret nowadays on my losses even if sometimes I go overboard because I am already used to it and no, it does not mean that I am addicted to gambling already. I know my self more.

You will start to feel remorse only after you lose your money, I've not seen anyone that feels remorse before starting to gamble, unless, he feels worried about himself, thinking that the road he is about to set on can make him change for ever, if you ever feel like this it's better to stop, because the mind is a very powerful part of the body, sometimes the mind can make things happen to us.

You know yourself better than anyone, if your mind is trying to warn you about what you are planning to do, sometimes it's better to put an end to that plan.
Controlling the mind is our responsibility; we believe what we see rather than what we hear; we're sensitive whenever gambling trends emerge; and we always want to be on the safe side, because gamblers know exactly what they've signed up for the moment they place a wager with their money. One must take drastic steps to tell oneself truth, because only then one will set free from the late night sleeps and critical thinking.

Feeling guilt after gambling is uncommon unless one is on the brink of losing or has already lost. Gambling can be viewed as either good or bad from an individual's point of view; those who have made significant money from gambling always embrace it and speak of its positive aspects, whereas those who have not made any money from it stumble in their own thoughts, criticizing it harshly, and hoping for a day that they will joined in the congregation of people that spread positive points about gambling, that embrace it.

If we think we want to recover previous losses, we must realize it is difficult because it will require more money. And we also don't know when our luck will come. So instead of wanting to recover previous losses or get wins, we should just play gambling for fun.
The desire to get a win in order to recover losses will always appear in the minds of gamblers when they experience defeat and also a feeling of regret because with added emotion the desire to chase defeat always appears by itself.
Maybe playing with the aim of having fun is the right choice, but can a gambler who experiences a big loss feel pleasure without the slightest regret.
Gambling uses deposited money so if it's only with small money it might be easy to accept defeat and think of it as fun but when using large amounts of money it's no longer fun but looking for profit.

There are times when we can win and lose and it all depends on luck. If you are lucky, you can win. But if you are unlucky, you will lose. We have all experienced wins and losses, regardless of the amount. And many of us feel regret and don't want to do it again but in reality, we come to the casino again and play other games in the hope that we can win and at the same time recover previous losses.

If we think we want to recover previous losses, we must realize it is difficult because it will require more money. And we also don't know when our luck will come. So instead of wanting to recover previous losses or get wins, we should just play gambling for fun.

i have never regretted gambling because in here gambling is illegal and normal, i have only once regretted using my emergency money to gamble, it made me have to suffer a sizable loss.  Gambling is an activity that should not be regretted, you have to enjoy it so that the results you get can make you satisfied, but before that, make sure the money you are using is not your only money to suppress severe losses and avoid using borrowed money to gamble.

This is one of the major reason why we are always advised to use money we can afford to lose, if a gambler refuses to set aside money that they want to use for gambler from their major money they'll only end up using everything to gamble and at the end that will result to some regrets.

From the look of things I don't think you always have regrets after gambling because spend more than you should have is the only reason you have ever felt remorse after gambling, you should always try to practice the habit of allocating some cash for gambling so that way you'll be conscious of your spendings.

It is a normal feeling, no one feels happy when he loses money. Moreover, if someone loses a big amount of money, they not only feel remorse but to feel frustrated. That's why we don't use big money for gambling, so we don't feel remorse too much. It is because we are almost impossible to avoid losses in gambling, especially in luck-based games. I don't think feeling remorse is a serious problem, but feeling frustrated is a big matter. So, we must limit our money to use in gambling, use small money only.

That person is surely losing that's why they start to feel remorse.

If they are having good luck in the process, they won't feel any damn regrets about what they are doing as money is just continuously flowing. That is just a normal feeling that if we are losing, there's a part of our mind that makes us feel regrets.

Nothing to be alerted. It's part of the experience. The key here is, how to control our behavior if we are losing. Losing is part of the gambling and shit just happened if we tend to aggressively chase those losses without thinking about what's right or wrong.

Do not use the money you need for other things on gambling. Do not disappoint your parent by using the money they gave you to pay for school for gambling. Just use the amount that you can afford to lose to gamble and you will not feel remorseful if you lose. But if you lose a big amount of money, or the money meant for your parent or relative to gamble and you can not lay back, that can make you feel more than remorseful because you will be depressed and be looking for ways to get the money back.
I think it's a general thing that all gamblers feel when they lose a considerable sum of money. All the "should have and could have" will start playing on your head over and over cause you felt stupid for pushing that bet when your gut feeling tells you not to anymore. It's a normal thing that doesn't just happen to people who lost money they should've spent on something more worthwhile or more important. I myself keep a dedicated bankroll for gambling sometimes and yet I still feel awful every time I tank a huge loss. It's just a normal thing basically.

Now that doesn't mean it's a good thing as well, feeling remorse after gambling basically means that you have went overboard this time which made you lose this bet, listen to this next time and never go for revenge gambling. If you can't win it that time you won't win it next time.

It depends on the results, obviously if that person is winning how come he will end up feeling remorse? On the other hand, if the results are unfortunate, it's just common to feel sorry or regret as to who wants to experience losing in the first place.

Anyways, it's not a big deal to start with since that's human nature or should I say, just a common approach.

They can go back to gambling whenever they want but being responsible should always be the priority.

I think that one should only feel that way when they have gambled off the money they are not supposed to and if they have encountered several losses without making any wins. Other than that, gambling is something that comes along with fun, so someone who enjoys gambling should even be excited after gambling because they really did have fun, but if they had the wrong approach towards gambling, that's only when they feel remorseful about the money they have lost in gambling.

Whoever is not ready to lose money should not even venture into gambling, and whoever is already into gambling should practice self-control so that they don't get so addicted to gambling with other people's money, which they are not supposed to gamble with.

Out of greed or due to improper understanding about gambling, people spend big money and the money that is supposed to be spent on some other purpose. At the beginning they've got misconceptions that gambling makes them rich and pours money borrowing and through other ways. When they come across the reality it hurts and they can't accept it. This is where most of the people feel guilt of getting into gambling and spending big.

There is no doubt that some people enjoy gambling and may not regret their decision to gamble, but it's also important to admit that gambling can have negative consequences for many individuals, even if they enjoy it. Before doing gambling you have to be aware of Addiction, Illegal Gambling, Financial Risks, and Social Impact. Making informed decisions about gambling is one of the most important aspects of approaching the game with caution. In the event that you or someone you know is experiencing an addiction to gambling, it's very important that you seek help from a professional or support group if you or they are having difficulty.

Sometimes someone who gambles with the hope of winning or chasing defeat will always regret it in the end after gambling like I have experienced this problem many times.
When gambling, gamblers often feel emotional when they lose, after that they make another deposit and lose the money again. After they finish gambling, they will regret that they had wasted money just chasing defeat.

One strong reason that makes them so sure is that their money will be able to multiply if they manage to win, but most people only see the victory, never once thinking that they can too and really can experience defeat. You said very true things, it's not uncommon for me to see someone willing to take out a loan just to gamble, and they have the belief that they will get a win to pay off their debt. I don't understand why they can be so sure, it's a gamble, that they can win if luck comes their way.
It is better to let them understand that they will experience that losses there's no other person that doesn't experience that win streak. People will only feel remorse or guilt if they surpass their limits. But the feeling of regret is the most painful thing and also sometimes this thing will lead into addiction because the feeling of guild will lead them to borrow more to play more.
