I experienced this many times in the past I still experience but I tried to minimize getting affected by my gambling experience, gambling is for entertainment and should be fun, but we are all just humans we get excited, we sometimes chase our losses, and sometimes our expectations failed us, so we feel remorseful.

This is normal but the most important thing is you manage to weed out your remorse and you must not let it linger in your mind because it's harmful and causes depression in the long run.

Expectations more than we earned, only brings us closer to been in a devastated form when our plans don't work out. Feeling remorseful after placing bets is the guilt that leads one to consider taking specific methods to gain money. It is not perilous, but if addicted gamblers feel regretfully, it is only for that moment. They would like to change their habits, but they can't because their entire thought is trapped in gambling. Betting and profit is one of the variables that leads to a desire to play more games. Gambling is never a choice, and if you're doing it for fun, there's nothing enjoyable about gambling; it doesn't even fit for pairing.

and to avoid such emotion, spend what you can afford to lose, the amount you can tell to yourself that you won't go broke because you lost it all in gambling. most gamblers are remorseful because they are allotting such money to other needs and yet, they lost it in their gambling activities.
You should really be like this on which you had already accepted your fate on the time that you had decided on touching or playing gambling on which losses would really be that casual or really that next in line.
You wouldnt really be having those feeling of regret is you have started on having that kind of approach on which you are already that anticipating that losses would be there. On this way then you wouldnt
really be making yourself that impulsive and making out such dumb moves or decisions just because you do find yourself that panicking because you had lost some money. This is which usually an action
made out by someone who are just new into gambling field.

Feeling of regret and whining and crying out later on is a sign that you are really just new into this field on which it is really  that important that on the time that you do gamble. Then its better
to anticipate those losses and its better that you should really meant out on having that fun and leisure.

I don't ever feel any remorse after gambling because first off, there's nothing wrong with it if you do it in moderation and your actions are affecting anyone else.  Secondly, I only gamble as a hobby, and I would compare a gambling loss to something sort of like my favorite teams losing in sports, it sucks but I knew it was a possibility but there's nothing I can do about it so I'm moving on.

If you have lost that much, more likely you would encounter such feeling, and that is normal. What's not is to comeback playing the moment you regret, 'coz that would be frustration. As we all believed, we should onlu invest or gamble an amount we can afford losing. That's a given ideaa, but in reality most of the gamblers cannot really afforf losing any amount. Like, who would be? We all gambled with an expection of getting something bigger in return. Those who has wealth are the only ones who are just playing for fun 'coz if they lose, it won't be that much fot them. All emotions are vlid just don't sit or stand by on negative emotions.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
Pretty normal when someone feels remorse at the end of the game and that's when he has lost money and his bet. I don't think that there's a need to be alert on it or it's a good thing because you'll never feel that if you have never gambled at all.

and to avoid such emotion, spend what you can afford to lose, the amount you can tell to yourself that you won't go broke because you lost it all in gambling.
Right, if you don't want to feel it then you should only gamble what you can afford to lose or any amount that you think your conscience won't be feeling any remorse for whether you win or lose.

most gamblers are remorseful because they are allotting such money to other needs and yet, they lost it in their gambling activities.
That's one reason and it's a wrong thing that you allot money to gambling which should be for other purpose.

Remorse that he has gambled? It's like having that guilty thought that he should gambled because he's losing, I guess that's where the thought starts.

But when you're winning with your bets, I doubt that you'll feel any regret because you're winning and you're having more money or you're taking back your losses.

That's how it is but if there's a gambler like that and feels like that, we can't blame them if that's what he really feels.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

I'm trying to understand what you said in this thread, because you didn't say in detail what you meant in this thread. however, I will speak generally. is normal, if we feel like you wrote in the title of this thread. however, there are always several factors that cause or trigger it. each case, will be different. It could be because you chose the wrong bet, or you placed the wrong bet amount. or, there are also many other causes that make us regret after gambling. in most cases, it usually happens to gamblers who are on a losing streak. therefore, after they lose the gambling session the regret comes because the money we bet is gone. especially if the money at stake, is money that comes from loans.

So, the question is, what makes you regret after gambling, do you feel that you have lost a lot of money in betting. or, you really can't gamble and then you regret it. This question is relatively complex, according to the situation you are facing. for us, it is commonplace. because psychologically, people are often provoked by their emotions and regret what they have done. after normalcy, everything is back to normal.

The only time you'll feel remorse after gambling is if perhaps you used money that wasn't meant for gambling to place a bet or if you made a stupid decision during your session, let's say; you won up to $130 and then decided to continue the game instead of you to cash in and later ended up with nothing.

You should first realised that gambling is meant to entertain you and once that entertainment is no longer there then it means something is wrong, or perhaps you're becoming to attached to gambling and you risk yourself getting addicted to it.

I still do not get the full context of the it. Care to provide more context?

If a person feels remorse after a gambling, it is not a good thing whatsoever. It could their mind trying to send them a message - they gambled irresponsibly, they lost because they chased losses or revenge gambling. It is always like the moral compass of the person.

It is a warning sign that shouldn't be ignored. Once it is that is where we start seeing the person becoming addicted to gambling. That remorseful feeling would still be there but it has already been suppressed.

^I think the presence of remorse can be seen as your initial step towards self-awareness and potential change.
However, it is important for us to take further action and implement strategies to prevent gambling from becoming a harmful and addictive behavior. The support and guidance were available within communities like Bitcointalk or any platform that has a discussion can be valuable resources in fostering discussions, sharing experiences, and providing assistance to those in need.

If he feels sorry, it is a sign that he will not repeat gambling the next day because if he loses, he will regret it again. Even if he could win and go back to gambling another day and suffer a loss, he would regret it again. It would not end unless he gave up gambling. Whatever amount of money he has lost, he will regret it, and he should have realized after a few losses that gambling was not for him and he should find other ways to have fun. No one is happy if we experience loss. Everyone is bound to regret it, but somehow, we keep coming back to gambling because the allure of gambling is too strong to keep us coming back.
Once you do feel out that deep regret then for sure you would already have learnt up something basing up on what you had done.Good thing? Yes,.if you do make out some realizations on which it did give out that kind of learning on which it would really be making you more wiser and much aware on next sessions that you would make on which you would really be needing to draw a line when it comes to limitation on dealing up with gambling. Bad thing is that on the time that you would really be ignoring out such stuff and still continue and desperately push up yourself just because you are trying out to prove something on whats into your mind.
Its really a very common scenario on which you would really be having that kind of regret on the time that you do lose money. You would be mainly thinking that what if those money that had lost should be used on
other means or much more worth on where it do make out this kind of feeling that it should really be retrieve it back and this is where it do starts on chasing up losses.

We all resort into feeling remorse especially if we end up gambling our funds that are used to pay our bills or buy some necessities. That is why if we are tight on budgeting, then we should never push ourselves into gambling as it will only left us regretting especially if we are losing huge funds that we can’t afford to lose. Gambling is good if we won a good amount, but it’s completely bad if we used up all our funds due to uncontrollable urge.

Indeed, remorse can also be an expression of emotional distress resulting from financial losses or negative outcomes in gambling. It may indicate that the person is experiencing stress, guilt, or regret, which could be detrimental to their mental health and overall well-being. Personally, I don't like feeling remorse, so whenever I gamble, I only allocate extra money specifically for that gambling session.

It is important to note that feeling remorse alone may not be sufficient to determine the severity of a gambling problem or the need for intervention. If the remorse is persistent, accompanied by financial difficulties, strained relationships, or an inability to control gambling behavior, it may indicate the presence of a gambling addiction. In such cases, seeking professional help or support from organizations specializing in gambling addiction could be beneficial.

I wouldn’t say I feel remorse after gambling, particularly when I win, but there are definitely times I wish I wouldn’t have bet. For example, when I don’t win. LOL. It isn’t always just about winning or losing though. There have been plenty of times where I lost a bet but the entertainment value I received was worth the price.
Really, it's LOL. We are happy when we win, especially when we really want to bet, but on the other hand when we really want to win but instead lose, regret will definitely come. This is a habit where we are not responsible for the bets we play, obviously this is only temporary before we continue with a new session.

Winning and losing is normal and it is temporary for everyone. It is possible to have fun at gambling, but the average person expecting to make a lot of money will really regret it.
Every gambler who expects to always get lots of cash from gambling will eventually experience this feeling of remorse because his or her expectation is always high and that could lead to disappointment and remorse anytime these expectations are not meet which is the winnings on his bet. I was once that type of gambler who expects winning always in every bet that I placed and it really affected me because I totally forgot the part of losing because the loss is unavoidable.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

If a person is having remorse after losing his bankroll in gambling then it is safe to say that he is using money that he can not afford to lose and that is a bad thing. It is possible that the money he is using is not free money but rather money that is already committed to something else such as payment for bills, budget for daily needs, etc.

To say whether the remorse is a good thing or not depends on his next action.  If the gambler decided to change his way and not spend money that is already allocated for other things, then, I can say it is a good thing but if the gambler keeps doing the same thing and feel remorse after then that is a bad thing because he keeps on using money that is not free for his gambling activities.  This will cause him problems and may put his family in an unstable financial state.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
It's good to feel remorse once in a while so you know where to draw the line, but when it's most of the time, then you may have to look back on what happened in your previous session. It's better to be alert at times, but it's best when you have a specific set of rules to follow so you don't go through the same problems in the future. Sometimes I get carried away when i'm having a profitable day and would start to place dumb bets that shouldn't have happened if i'm more disciplined enough.

Of course it is good, we are human after all. It's like debating over if a person should feel pain or regret after a close one's death. You're losing money, you feel some degree of regret and this is going to get bigger as the lost money becomes a bigger part of your net worth.

If you feel regret, don't be worried. It means that you're healthy. Just make sure this regret doesn't take over your life. You don't want to forget your responsibilities because you've voluntarily lost some money. It's important to underline the word voluntarily because regret over something inevitable like death should be different from a loss of money that you put at stake. Nobody made you do it, it was your choice, so don't cry too much about it.

Feeling remorseful goes hand in hand with feeling regretful, Infact, I would say that another word, or term for "regret" is "remorse", and a gambler only ends up with such a feeling after he or she encounters a loss that is kinda not planned or prepared for..

So yeah, I personally have felt remorse several times after gambling, simply out of making some losses I did not expect or plan for, and this is not a feeling that is peculiar to a person, every gambler one time or the other have felt this way, or will feel this way, it's normal  for gamblers.
