Yeah I felt remorse when I was gamble to earn money, but I learn to accept losses and find the enjoyment through gambling, I never felt remorse after gambling anymore. It's all about your mindset, someone who gamble without looking to earn money will not mad or sad when if they lose. Remember, gamble isn't for everyone especially people who still earn less than their monthly needs.
Disappointments and regrets/remorse, I indeed feel those things and sometimes it happens to me. Why? Because the moment that I gamble, I'm already expecting to win and very unfortunate that it never ends like that where losses are gonna happen even if we don't like it. That is why I've practiced stopping thinking about winning and imagining it and rather thinking that I was enjoying this so it never hurts me more but less pain. It is accepted that it was hard to get lucky in gambling rather than being too unlucky that's why we often lose than bring home the jackpot prize.
It's healthy that you're adjusting your approach and expectations, as gambling is fraught with uncertainty and chance. Behavioural economics provides abundant evidence for "loss aversion," or the belief that losses hurt roughly twice as much as gains.

Feeling let down when your victories don't pan out is very normal. Changing your focus from winning to having fun in a game demonstrates maturity of character and the ability to withstand stress in the face of adversity.

While this outlook may help you feel better emotionally, it won't eliminate the financial hazards associated with gambling. Always play within your means, and if it becomes more than just a game, get some professional assistance.

I think everyone has went to that kind of emotions when we gamble, specially regrets and that what ifs after a lose. What if we didn't gamble that money or what if we stop when we are still in the winning ways.

But I guess for the majority of gamblers, we already know that sooner or later we are going to lose everything. But we still go and take that risk and it's going to be very difficult to us once we lost that money.

I agree with this.

It's a common mistake for gamblers to not acknowledge the fact that there will be times they could lose too despite the continuous winning streak they had. Even if you are very much skilled, intelligent, and strategic, there will be times that luck won't just side on your favor. Hence, if you managed to win consecutively and happen to have an amount that is enough to get you something important, then learn to stop and control your urges. Otherwise, the luckiness might turn into madness later on. Your winnings can be instantly wiped out if ever you messed up or if ever the odds won't just be in favor with you.

You have to limit yourself and build a healthy gambling habit so that you won't regret later on. Indeed, tables can turn in the very last minute, so be wary of your actions especially if it involves large sum of money.
The gambler that has learned to control themselves will have a larger number of winning sessions as they will know when to stop gambling when they are ahead, while those that let their greed take control of them will keep gambling hoping to get even more money, only to realize that the longer they gamble the more their results will begin to resemble every single other session they had on the past, and then the luck they were so proud will abandon them and their loses could reach very high levels in a relatively short amount of time.

But in the long run, everyone loses and the only winner is the house. Those who learned the art of self-control will not lose a lot, but will still lose regardless. They might have some advantage in terms of spending or losing, but they all lose nonetheless.

At least though, they get to enjoy their money without getting into deep in gambling. I'd take that any day as you can treat it as a hobby anyway.

Losing certainly feels bad. I know the feeling of losing a lot of money due to my stupidity but that has not stopped me from losing even more money in the all-too-near futures after that. Just put it out of your head and not dwell on it too much. Otherwise you start thinking you can win your loss back but end up losing more money...

Every human possesses adrenaline on their body system and it's natural for them to react in the body system when there is fear, excitement and panic, so I think it's normal for players react or feel bad when they lost bets, no way that can be avoided but then the way people feel it is different from others, there are some players that quench their loss in that moments the tickets is gone, they feel bad but it is within a short range while others may take hours, days or month and it also depends on the amount that was loss, you know our pocket size are not the same but people will go extreme to play what they cannot afford to lose.

This is the way it should be, but most people once they begin to win some money they refuse to stop, they think that luck is finally on their side and they prefer to keep gambling thinking they will earn a lot of money and recover from all of those losing sessions they had on the past, but once their luck runs out they begin to lose again and in their desperation they decide to keep gambling, lose a great deal of their capital in the process and then they feel remorse about what they did.
After a good winning streak, you start to think that you have understood something and now it will always be like this, but losses are an integral part of the process and you can make more mistakes in this moments on emotions. After that, when you start to analyze what happened, you understand that this could have been avoided, and at such moments, of course, there is regret about what you have done.
Most gamblers make the same mistake, once they start winning a few times, they start thinking that they can manage to do that every time, without realizing that the game can always turn against them especially when there is a house edge intact all the time to make the house win in the long run. Some people even start betting with higher amounts once they get a winning streak which is the biggest mistake.

They wouldn't win as much as they will lose when they start betting with higher amounts because when they start losing, they try recovering their losses by doubling their bets and if a loss steak hits them, it clears their bankroll and waves them bye-bye after that.

I agree with this.

If they could realize what had happened and know that it was because of his mistake, they would surely understand that every time he played gambling, a loss would wait, and we must avoid big losses by limiting our money. But most gamblers, especially those who have often experienced loss, will not think that way because they think they will surely get lucky tomorrow, but in reality, they are not. And there are gamblers who, after losing, don't stop for a moment and contemplate their defeat but instead think they can try it tomorrow.

I could remember way back when I used my tuition fee for betting,I felt so remorse and filled with regrets when this happened. At first,it will like nothing happened but later, when I have to face the consequences of my action,I regretted it and learnt from my experience.

I wonder what age you're then when this experience occur to you, i believe maybe by then, you're just a student and have no other sources of income than from what you receives from home, what exactly got you been so desperate to have decided on using your school fees for gambling, is through your friends influence or you've got that kind of bold and thicker heart to take such huge risk for gambling.

Chasing your loss it the major problem that can lead a gambler to use all his payroll to gamble at a spot, and this happens when you are greedy and you want to win big. Remorse and regrets will be the order of the day when one chases his loss. Self discipline can help a gambler to trim his losses and will make him not to feel remorse over a little loss.

The aftermath always looks ugly because there's always a very high probability of loosing than winning and gambling is not a form of an investment but rather a risk to either loose or earn through betting, maybe there's this cover that always manifest on gamblers which makes them believe they will always win whenever they are about taking such high esteemed risk in gambling, once they are done, they feel remorse.

Keep in mind there are two types of players when playing gambling. First, those who play with the aim as entertainment just to let go of tired after work, they play naturally and even when getting defeat is not a problem. And secondly, those who play with the aim of winning, they do anything to achieve victory including spending large capital so it is not surprising if they are disappointed or regret when at the end of the game has not yet won.
And should when they have experienced disappointment and regret makes them stop to play gambling, but what happens is the opposite they are increasingly rising to continue to play.

If there are two types of gamblers as you mentioned in this post. we can compare it, that the second type of gambler is more than the first type. yep, as we know and realize, that gambling carries risks. we are well aware, the money we bet has the potential to be lost. that means, we lose during the gambling session.
For the first type of gambler, they usually only do it in their spare time. one example, as you said. they play naturally, even when they lose it's not a problem. it's just that sometimes conditions and situations can influence the psychology of the first type of gambler to make mistakes. for example, he gambled when his emotional level was unstable and in the end he was carried away to spend his time in gambling. if lucky they will get the win, and if vice versa, they will regret that they have spent a lot of money at the gambling table.

The second type of gambler, as you describe in this post. their goal of gambling is none other than to get a win. this type, doesn't really care about enjoying his gambling session. which in the end, without good control, they have spent a lot of money. in the end, regret after suffering a big defeat. moreover, the money at stake is obtained from loan funds.
Overall, we agree with what you're saying. but from the side of human psychology, it would be very natural if someone who gambled would regret it afterwards, whatever the reason. it doesn't even rule out the possibility, the first type of gambler also often experiences things like that. So, I think this is something that most of us naturally experience.

Remorse and regret will always be part of our emotions after a series of losing because, to be honest, that's part of our gambling journey and we can't avoid losses easily no matter what strategy we may apply because our game results mostly come out by luck. It's fine to feel regretful in the end but, but of course, we have to move forward and learn from our mistakes.
We can't lose and get stuck on the negative emotion that we feel. As much as possible, we should rest for a while as we clear our minds after having losses. We shouldn't gamble continuously after a bad gambling adventure. Resting and conditioning our minds will be an effective tactic for us to prepare ourselves for better gameplay in the future.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
Depends on what you mean by being alert...
People usually feel remorse after losing on games they really didn't wanna get involved in,.. especially when they thought it would pay off and it ended up the wrong way... Sometimes, a one-time bet could possibly earn you a couple of dollars to start with, which is even enough for the day but peeps with greed would wanna try again, hoping to continue in the same frenzy until whenever...lol, that's where the problem begins cus you stand a chance to lose everything you won,.. including some more extra bucks.... There's a grand rule in gambling; don't ever play more than what you got in budget - that should be applicable when you're winning too much, or losing too much too...

When gambling there is no room for feeling and things like that. That only comes when you have lost your last euro on the gambling site and there is the realization that the entire bank balance is gone again. Then I'm pretty sure there are a lot of players who are remorseful when they're in that position, but another question would be if they learned anything from this? Often they feel like shit for a few hours, but the next day they already have another betting system ready and so we actually get a vicious circle with these players.
Well every gambler can relate to what you are saying and this feeling doesn't seem to ever end but the good thing is that one should have something that always relax the mind whenever he or she experience such lost and that way you won't do anything stupid in that little minutes of ever regretting you play the gamble in the first place.
Regret do always come at the end and it is something that you should really be that wary in towards your actions. Be having that realistic and sensible approach towards gambling and you shouldnt really be that thinking that it is something that would be making your rich. On the time that you would really be starting to have this kind of impression then this is where it would really be making out those desperation which causes for you to
take up such action according to that. This is why if you dont like on having those feeling of regret or remorse in the end then you should be having that realistic approach. Gambling is for fun and not on making
someone to get rich. If you are lucky then yes but most of the time on which lots of gamblers had fall down into the pit of huge losses because they do really keep on coming back and having trying to achieve
on something which is that impossible. You cant really be that optimistic when it comes to this because house do always win in the end and if you are involved on strategic games then you cant really be lucky
all the time and this is something you should put up into your mind.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
I think it's a concern if that happens on an individual considering you should know it by hand that you'll lose or win in the first place while gambling. Having a remorse is perfectly normal but if it happens all the time even if you just lose a little that might need to seek a professional. It's normal if you lose big time and it will just fade over time.

That's a good way to keep the discipline. We won't feel any of those regrets if we know we just gambled the right amount that won't affect our daily living expenses, bills, and whatever that needs to be paid. A strategy and a budget. If we want to win badly we make a strategy but it doesn't mean every gambling activity will be perfect, there will always be the mistake, and if there's a budget, there is a reason to stop. Avoid chasing the losses, this is where it all goes wrong and remorse will definitely be next to it. We spend more than how much we can afford and we feel bad after we lose it because the money used could've been set for something else and yet we gambled it thinking we can find a way to double the money and have a new fund to gamble more. Very wrong.
The amount on when to stop after losses and the amount on when to stop after profits. We should also enjoy the hard-earned risky gamble that we took. Take the stress out by being with the family for a night out or do something else that would refresh the brain.

That's why I think that if you have calculated the outcomes of all the cases that can happen to you in gambling, then you have nothing to worry about. Therefore, there should be no emotions. And this is the best thing for those who come to gambling for the result, and not for emotions, which are very destructive for any player. After all, if you win, you will continue to play. And if you lose, you want to recoup.

Therefore, unfortunately gambling is very destructive for emotional personalities.

An interesting perspective, indeed! The strategy, as in any risk-based undertaking, is paramount in gambling. It’s not just about the thrill, it's about the method, wouldn't you agree? Yet, there's more to it. Gambling is intrinsically tied to probability and variance. No matter how sophisticated the strategy, the element of luck, or variance, is always there. Hence, as you rightly pointed out, recognizing when to stop is crucial. It's essential to set both profit and loss limits and stick to them, a practice known as bankroll management in the gambling world.

And about chasing others' wins, couldn't agree more! It's your strategy, your game, and your luck. After all, as the saying goes, 'comparison is the thief of joy'.
Therefore, by setting limits, whether it's profits, playing time, or the amount of money, we won't be tempted by anything in gambling and can get out of there on time. And I agree with having bankroll management to avoid over limits and remember when to stop.

So by doing it all, we will not regret losing some money in gambling. We will enjoy gambling regardless of the outcome because our goal in playing gambling is just to have fun. And when we get the pleasure, we can stop immediately.

if someone gambles just to find entertainment, of course they will only bet according to their feelings and thoughts. different from compulsive gamblers they will not be able to stop when they have not got the win they want but they keep losing which causes regret after losing a few dollars.

so it is very important to have a mind that thinks gambling is only limited to seeking pleasure so that you can control yourself not to lose too much at gambling.
If we feel we can't have that thought, we must learn because it's worth doing. Especially if our goal is just to have fun and we don't want to exceed what we can't afford to lose in gambling. Later, we can avoid regret because we have lost a few dollars playing gambling so we only want to enjoy gambling as entertainment without wanting to get a win because the win is just a bonus.

If we can do that, we won't worry about losing because we've managed it so well that we only gamble with the money we can afford. If it is close to its limit, we will know it soon enough and decide to stop.
