Everyone has regretted after gambling, especially when they are addicted. I'm not drunk, I don't play women, but it's really bad when I play gambling. And now I really want to stop gambling, debt is everywhere because of gambling, I often lie to my family and good friends, and lastly, business has stalled a little.

Just a suggestion, it's okay to play gambling but you have to be able to control yourself so you don't get addicted to gambling. Gambling as a stress reliever and as entertainment.
In fact, there will be many impacts that will be felt by every gambler, especially those who are already addicted. They will feel remorse when they have lost everything they had and at that moment they will realize that they have gone too far to do bad things for themselves. Apart from that it would be very difficult for a gambler to be able to stop, taking a short break might be possible, but to stop completely is of course very unlikely and most of them will not be able to pass every temptation about winning that comes to mind. To be honest, I am an active gambler but not addicted, I have never made a debt decision for gambling capital because I knew that would be the beginning of the downturn in my life, namely being in debt.

I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

What could make someone feel remorse for losing at gambling is either they lose a large amount of money that's way beyond their take or it's a money that doesn't belong to them but was just meant to be  in their custody for the time being.

Outside these factors and a gambler start feeling remorse for each loss he make by gambling then it's a good sign that he has started having a rational perspective towards his money on what he could have used such monies he had loss to gambling for something more better off .
It seems like everyone who plays gambling and loses money at gambling will feel remorse but they don't show it to anyone. After all, if they were playing in an online crypto casino, no one would know about it because they were probably playing in their rooms. But people who are not used to gambling will feel sorry and might think they are stupid for using their money to gamble. Different people will also have different responses and reactions so it will come back to each gambler.

Having no self-control put you in a greater risk of being a gambling addict. Though if you have no self-control, considering to stop is possible but if you had a thought of playing gambling again, a people with no self control will still play despite the promise you did for your self. Having no self control is one of the traits of an addict but it doesn't mean they are an addict right away. A massive loss is expected especially if you are really into gambling and I think it's normal given that even big gainers experienced the same thing on their gambling careers.
Big gainers don't actually let themselves lose the whole money they have gained because they understand how gambling works. Someone who has both self-control and gambling experience can greatly benefit from their wins, I know that winning and losing are all dependent on one's luck, but how one utilizes their wins and learns from their losses is the most important thing.

Those who have experience but no self-control might win something significant at a time but they won't be able to use those winnings and they will lose it at that exact time because of greed and thinking that they will make more from it and they eventually lose it all back to the house.

One reason to only gamble with money you can afford to lose is to prevent regretting your actions later on. It is bad practice to use money you don't own or you  have a plan in place for how you will use money you need to reach out and use for gambling only which you may  lose it. These are the kinds of things that cause people to second-guess their actions or regret them in the long run, forgetting that no one ever advised them to get involved in activities like these that have no chance of producing beneficial outcomes and only serve to ruin people's lives.
I've had these experiences before, but they've really motivated me to cut back on my gambling because I feel that it won't improve my life in any way and will only lead to financial waste. By cutting back, I can avoid developing a gambling addiction that I may not be able to control in the long run.

Those that have no self-control should seriously consider to never gamble again

Let's not arrived on this kind of conclusion but rather finds more advisable alternatives to gambling addiction and get it eradicated gradually, we could actually in our own way help them through this, they needed help because they have already seems helpless for being addicted to gambling, anyone of us could be found in other areas of life aside gambling to need other's intervention on our situation in life.

after all despite the self-exclusion policies of a casino there are many gamblers out there which have found a way to skip those procedures and they can start to gamble all over again

This has been found effective in most of the cases being applicable to, only few returned back to their vomit at the end, there are more other means to also engage their use aside this to make them for diversion of interest to doing other things aside gambling.

The gambler that has learned to control themselves will have a larger number of winning sessions as they will know when to stop gambling when they are ahead, while those that let their greed take control of them will keep gambling hoping to get even more money, only to realize that the longer they gamble the more their results will begin to resemble every single other session they had on the past, and then the luck they were so proud will abandon them and their loses could reach very high levels in a relatively short amount of time.
And that is when you actually feel remorse when you have managed to win a specific amount of money over your initial deposit that you could easily withdraw but you don't do it because you become greedy and want to turn that amount into something bigger, but what happens is that you lose what you've earned so far and a part of what you had deposited as well, and then you feel so bad that it is an emotion unexplainable.

That is why it is very much important to have some control over yourself when you are gambling because it takes no time for the time to turn against you and at one moment you are at the top of the house and at the second moment, the house gets over you and takes back whatever you've earned so far.
Those that have no self-control should seriously consider to never gamble again, after all despite the self-exclusion policies of a casino there are many gamblers out there which have found a way to skip those procedures and they can start to gamble all over again, and when something like this is so easy to do then it should not surprise us to see several gamblers which cannot help themselves and they keep gambling to the point that if they do not correct their actions then the losses they will suffer one day will be massive.

No, since I don't gamble with my pocket money, and it has nothing to do with gambling in the end. Regardless of how confident you are or how you feel before you begin playing. The result will always be the same. The only thing I regret is not being able to force myself to withdraw and instead keep going.

There is always next time. If you gamble and is on the winning streak, you can always decide to take the winning.  Just don't be greedy and think that there will be next time to enjoy the game.  For the moment let yourself take the drive seat and do things that you wanted to do such as withdrawing your winnings in gambling.  It must be you to be followed and not your desire to continuously gamble until your fund is depleted.
Easy to say but when you are already on such condition then it would really be that hard for you to stop mid-way on which this is where most people do really fail on doing so.This is why gambling industry becomes big

because people's or gamblers behavior would really be continuing on what they are doing. There's no time about regret and hesitance on the time that you do have still money on your pocket but on the time that there's

none then this is where it starts for you to have those regrets or feeling sorry on what you have done. This is why on the time that you do gamble then you should prepare yourself
about facing up some losses and this is why you should really be that prepared and getting used to it when it comes to losses. This is why its important that you should
really be accepting about your fate that in the end of the day you would be losing those betting capital that you've been using.
Once you get the idea that you just grabbed the opportunity or chance to win, you'd be away from regrets simply because if the outcome is good, you'd probably be celebrating at the end of the day. You won't lose of you did not bite the chance. You won't win if you did not try. Either you lose or win, you've made up your decision to gamble therefore there should not be any regret. To feel sad of the bad outcome is just fine but remorse is another thing. If you ever be feeling such thing after betting, then you should stop it already; gambling isn't for you. There'll be always a tendency to lose so would you be okay feeling remorse everytime? That would be too tiring on my end.

Yeah I felt remorse when I was gamble to earn money, but I learn to accept losses and find the enjoyment through gambling, I never felt remorse after gambling anymore. It's all about your mindset, someone who gamble without looking to earn money will not mad or sad when if they lose. Remember, gamble isn't for everyone especially people who still earn less than their monthly needs.

Then you have a problem and it's not because you feel remorse but because you gamble to earn money. It's one of the biggest mistakes gamblers do. You should play for fun, or to feel the thrill, sometimes to kill time, but saying that you're doing it as a way of earning will usually lead you to lots of regrets and attitude problems. Maybe you 're fine like you say you are, but it's possible you stopped treating it as a way to make money and that's what lies at the bottom of this change.
Have we ever experienced a situation in gambling that changed our mindset and emotions to become uncontrollable?
Yes, as experienced by Solosanz maybe before making a bet he will think this gambling is just for fun but all that can change when sometimes wins come in a row and feel that luck will come again and want to double his winnings again but it doesn't match expectations which in the end lose again.
So he lost all the balances and also all the winning money that should have been disbursed but lost the gamble and regretted everything.

Like you I had remorse in the beginning of my gambling life but as I got better knowledge at gambling I regretted less. But yes gambling is not for everyone. I think only those who can afford to lose are worthy to gamble. Join in gambling only for income is definitely foolish because there is a combination of winning and losing in gambling. So it is better to enjoy it without expecting much. When a person forgets about earning from this I think he will be able to enjoy from it.
In my opinion, a person who feels sorry and plays again in the future, it's not because he regrets playing, but he is a person who regrets not getting a win. For those who win they will never regret it, and for those who lose they will hope for their money back and it's not regret, because something can be considered regret when someone never does something that makes them regret again.

True, not everyone can afford to lose money, and gamblers are very good people because they can do it and are prepared to lose money.  Grin
That is why if we don't have income that can cover our necessities of life, and are also not ready to lose money it is not advisable to gamble because it will make their difficulties worse.

Actually, it all depends on the conditions, when you get a win then I think you won't feel the regret. And conversely, if you experience defeat, you will definitely feel regret. Learning to be able to accept consequences or risks is a good action so you are not too down to keep thinking about it. Gamble healthily where you can accept all the facts that will happen at the end of the game. I just lost at gambling but it didn't bother me psychologically at all, because before doing so I had agreed with myself that however the end result I would accept it and I risked the money that I had prepared for a loss. It all depends on each person's perspective, if someone views gambling as a way of making money then it is certain that there will be lots of negative impacts that he will feel, even stress though.

I think everyone has went to that kind of emotions when we gamble, specially regrets and that what ifs after a lose. What if we didn't gamble that money or what if we stop when we are still in the winning ways.

But I guess for the majority of gamblers, we already know that sooner or later we are going to lose everything. But we still go and take that risk and it's going to be very difficult to us once we lost that money.

I think regret will not come if someone looks at gambling in a healthy way, where it is only for entertainment and cannot be used as a field for making money. All gamblers realize that sooner or later they will experience negative effects from gambling, but as you said even though defeat always dominates in the end they still always do it, this may be due to the impact of an expectation that is too high.

Yes, that's what happened, everyone regrets every time they experience defeat in gambling, that's why you always learn from experience when you lose, not to regret, like life, if you feel like a failure, don't ever regret it, but make it a life experience so you can be more careful in taking action, for example self-control in gambling also limits gambling activities so that you don't spend all your time gambling.

Sometimes we need to divide our time with family, work and others, that's why gambling must really be able to set the time when to play and when to stop gambling, as long as we have a mindset that does not think that gambling is a job that makes you rich quick, I'm sure everything will be fine it's fine, after all I always make this adage that defeat is actually an experience for us to be able to play wiser, not a regret.
