Hold or sale? Only you can determine that decision. Everyone has a different market analysis. You have to make your own decision because it's your money. Don't just follow trend of people's opinions because you can get stuck in a stupid idea
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them or hold.
yes, if my thoughts are better, you should hold on to what you have. the problem is the current condition is down and this is a condition that we are experiencing. therefore we must endure and be patient.

It depends actually to the coins that you are holding right now. If you think that it can survive the downfall then hold for it for a long time but if you think that it cannot lasts or doesn't have any potential, you better sale it while the price is still reasonable.Hold and wait for the higher price to come because it will come at the right time just need to be patient enough. But sometimes due to our necessities we have to sell in order to sustain our needs.
