You should hold a little longer if i were you, it's because the price is not too good this days, maybe if you hold about 3-5months later, the price will get better and increase, because if you choose to sell them right now, you'll only lose your money.

I was going to sell everything off around january 2018 but I think I sadly lost chance to take my profits to spend. Now I am stuck with many half worth altcoins. I am willing to HODL for a year or two anyways. No need to be hurry.

I will advise against selling your coins for now, cause selling it only means you lose your money and there is no way of gaining it back.
However, if you sell it now where prices are higher at which you bought them, then no worries in that - you still gain a few.

If the coin is still cheap you better hold it first but it will take months and I think it's a good decision, just waiting for the growth of the market and after that make a decision. and you can sell it when the coin has gone up even if it just rises a bit rather than you lose it all

It's hard to decide hold or sell now. You know, the market now is to hard to predict. In my opinion, if you have free funds, you don't need money for any special things, you should hold, waiting for a brightener market. If you sell your coins now, you will lose your funds.

It could happen if you are good in predicting the market, when bitcoin dump in the past months going to 10K and you have sold all your bitcoins
then I am sure you can buy back at the rate now, it's quite risky but with careful analysis you can make a profitable trades.

This is not only happening with you but also most of the cryptocurrency traders are facing the same type of the problem , and also many of them with the lot of panic , are selling Thier asset Because they are in fear and thinking that they will loss lots of money in future and may be Thier Investment will result into zero , so they are withdrawing Thier money from this market .
But still there are lots of people who are in this field and having lots of patience and holding Thier assets with lots of loss .
And also here I myself facing the same thing like you so my suggestion for you that don't go for such type of panic sell Because in this way you will face only loss and nothing , so it will be more better for you to keep calm and hodl .

Continue to hold and do not sell. The market right now is not perfect for selling. A dumping market is a perfect market for buying and not the other way around if you want to make profit instead of a loss. Keep calm and keep your coins in your wallet. Think like a whale. Do not think like a small fish that the whales are going to eat. The whales are getting bigger because of the weak hands who sell easily when the market is dumping.
