Goodpoint and it is always practically do by the investor and the trader but theres always a possibility that other coins can be lesser than when the season of the price increasing always make a decision that you think its right risk is always at side of trading no one can say if you can get a profit or not. Goodluck for the trading and i respected what you want to share its not just Good if you hold always.

I agree, You should find out if the coins that you are holding is for long term investment or for short term investment. You should hold your coins in a long time if your coins is for long term investments like Ethereum and Bitcoin. I think this time you should be hold your all altcoin investments

If you think the platform is great hold it for 2-3 years I'm sure you'll gain profits.In joining ICO you should think for a long term profit not because its already out in the market you can already gain profits.It will dip more in the next few months after it hit an exchanger so you must not panic..It will naturally grow once the market recover.

It depends on what types of Altcoins you are holding and as you said that you have purchased them in ICO so this means you have done research on those ICO before investing in those so use that research experience and decide what coin are good for long term and hold them. If you are not experienced enough and do not have much knowledge about the cryptocurrency market that you need to hold the acquired coins

What's the current price of the altcoins compare to the ICO price you brought them because that will determine if you should hold or sell. As a rule of thumb for me, I never sell at loss. It is only weak hands that sell when price is below the price they brought. Definitely as you have rightly say when the price of bitcoin goes down that of altcoins also follow suit. I strongly believe bitcoin will still make that bullish run again it is just a matter of time... So the price of your altcoins will also rise to the target you have set if you can just be patient.

but if youre altcoin price is now higher than the price of ICO better sell it

Don't think about sell when market go low already. That only makes you lose more. Market will go up and down you need hold when it has gone down, or you can sell low and buy lower (if you can predict, but it's not a smart choice). IMO, just split the money into many parts so you can average the price

You're just losing more when you sell them. If it's not necessary to sell I mean if you don't need money then just hold it and don't mind your coins for now. And don't be easily fool when they say bitcoin will continue to fall because it's all usual for the market to be volatile, if you believe bitcoin enough then there's no way to believe them. History always repeat itself so better hold because it will surge sooner.

for me you dont need to sell some of your coins because this is the holding time and bitcoin is decreasing very high wee need to wait until bitcoin recovers the real price again. i have some news about bitcoin that it will rise again morethan 50k$ this year thats why you need to hold all your altcoin.

don't easily believe in other people's words. believe in yourself. if you think the price of altcoin you have is high enough, you better sell it, than the price will come down again. but if the price is still low, don't sell it first, save it until the price goes up. falling bitcoin prices are common, so don't panic.
