As long there is demand and supply bitcoin would last. As people still use bitcoin it will exists, it is continously increasing its price. And I beleive it will be in the upcoming months and years.

Bitcoin doesn't have a fixed lifespan because it is all depends on the things that you can find in bitcoin like the support of the people and also the miners in the network. Bitcoin can last for a lifetime as long as there is support of the miners and users for bitcoin and if there is no support or even demand then bitcoin will just be bury in dumps.

I would like to quote what Satoshi said about post 20 years scenario, he says,

"I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume."

Considering the current situation and the aspects like user base, people's perception about bitcoin and the market capital, I think the volume will be large after 20 years and bitcoin will definitely last much more than 20 years.

Maybe that same question about bitcoin in early birth (2010-..) but until now even all problem bitcoin keep solid as cryptocurrency and maybe become mainstream in future as long as supply and demand still alive.

Yes, future no one knows correctly. We can guess based on the uses of bitcoins. It looks still a lot of growth left in bitcoins and its prices can reach very high. But it will not go straight all the way to the sky. On time to time, it will correct and go slowly once its adoption increases worldwide.

I agree with you bitcoin will last forever up to a few dozen years, it will not be able to stop working abruptly because the current bitcoin is growing very strongly it may be recognized as a copper Legal money in the future.

Bitcoin is a working progress that is continuing to grow and spread by the cause of it's users. I can say that bitcoin will last until no one uses it. Because now it's current status is really great. Although the price is unpredictable people chooses to invest onto it because they know they will benefit from it and who knows, bitcoin surely will be successful in the future.

Bitcoin can go all the way high as long as many countries are going to adopt the bitcoin but I think as the cryptocurrency goes on these years the Etherum might surpass the bitcoin because it is more lot better than bitcoin in terms of platform. And yes, I am with Etherum too but for now majority of my funds is at the bitcoin.

The only possible answer is nobody can tell, If we realize its current status it could last more years. Lets see what happen after the forking, a lot of possibilities will occur it could be an advantage or disadvantage.

no matter what will happen this aug 1 one thing is for sure bitcoin will survive as it is already been supported by more people around the globe
more and more investors and businessman are already engage with this current investment so if after aug 1 create some downfall another new investors
will pick it up and regain the value or bounce back much bigger.

since it has been popular and accepted in recent years so that it can be assumed that Bitcoin will last long. day by day it is getting available at everywhere, many developed countries are considering it to allow as a legal currency, already Japan has declared as legal currency, South Korea also has taken it seriously to allow it... so the future of bitcoin is certain from my point of view...

i think it is depending on the interest of the people. bitcoin will remain tell people will have interest in it. and currently the interest of the people is increasing therefore the importance of bitcoin is also continuously increasing, i am hopeful that this trend will continue for a long time.

Now that bitcoin is being used and acknowledge by many people the interest of it will increase and there will be no reason for bitcoin to end. And as long as people are using it and spreading it to others it will be more known to public. And when the other countries legalized it and introduced it to the public that's the time people will know the advantages of it and bitcoin will continue to grow.

It is difficult to predict accurately. The bitcoin that exists is highly dependent on us. Demand for supply and demand determines its viability. If at any time people stop buying and selling bitcoin series, surely the price of bitcoin will drop dramatically. This is the time when bitcoin will die

No one can predict how long a bitcoin will last. In my opinion, bitcoin will last for at least 20 years. It will die if there is no change in the future.
I believe if there is a reasonable change bitcoin will last a long time, even in the future it can replace the currency

Until the community is still believing and trusting this good currency it will last long i think 20yrs more and there will come more better soon. So we must enjoy now the possibility of earning bitcoins. This Bitcoin give me a profit that keeps my life moving so no matter what I will trust this until its last trade or value.

How long Bitcoin can last depends on the users, as long as there are users then Bitcoin could survive, and judging from the current situation Bitcoin could last for a very long time, because the one that attracted to Bitcoin keep on growing, so the Bitcoin user is keep on increasing and some country even already start to legalized bitcoin

no one knows what's going on in the future so the crash that cause bitcoin can't survive may indeed exist and all speculation is on 1st august. it's better to follow the things that happen in the future.

Crypto is speculation, and basically all of the crypto still based on the speculation such as there is a lot of the ico that aimed to be the best one that still being a speculation. i will not believe the hardfork will be happening in 1 august.
