Do you end up making more gains??? Well, whatever rocks your boat. Seems that is your personal strategy. I guess you won't be doing it if it ain't working.

I  believe holding for over 1 year will give me net gains. Rather 2-3 months. I'm in this for the long term. The 2 projects dash and verge scare me the most. But scared money makes money.

Verge will be the number one crypto to go to. Every currency have there fud. But when it comes to tech. Verge currency beats out most. People will be like hey its cheap. Time for a bag of verge. Bitcoin is too expensive for novice buyers. Verge is going places.

Well, good luck with that. I do think that you should have a sound strategy to invest in crypto, and have strong reasons to buy a token or a coin, and even stronger reasons to sell them. So if you decided to do that, I wish you best.

I observe the regularity - if bitcoin grows, then the coins grow faster than bitcoin. If bitcoin falls, then the coins fall faster than bitcoin. So on the growth it is necessary to buy coins, and on the fall BTC.

That's a nice move, especially going into dash these days might payoff very soon, the price got dumped from +1.2K usd per coin into 300-400 usd range, if your investment is bigger enough, you would get some nice profits at the end of this year, crypto in general still didn't hit new ath's this year so, get your bags full and wait for the moon.

I think putting all your eggs in one basket is a mistake. diversification is key to try to offset some of the volatility in this market and you should always keep around 20% in BTC or ETH. If you arent bothered about huge price swing in your entire portfolio then atleast it would mean you have BTC or ETH to buy with when a nice altcoin dips.

Also, Verge and Eos are both hype coins. Eos is supposed to be an infrastructure blockchain, yet it still runs on Ethereums blockchain and although it is a decent project, it is already WAY overvlued for this point in time. Verge, in my opinion, is a shit-coin that only got hyped because of John McAfee and they have a history of missed deadlines and questionable tech.

This is probably my 5th time changing coins. At the moment I dump coins for dash , verge , and eos. I'm hoping for returns for the year. I am not looking for monthly returns anymore but yearly. I'm not bullish on dash or verge. But hopefully I get lucky.
I dump all my bitcoins and dump all my ether. Saying goodbye.

you really doing a big bet by dump all your bitcoin and ethreum to buy anothers cryptocurrencies my friend
i think you do that, because you already predict if dash, verge and eos will be growing

Buing Bitcoin Private now will be a better idea
From now you can send your cryptocurrency, using Bitcoin Private platform
http://cointigo.io/
The dispatching of cryptocurrency is so easy now I know, some may claim that BitcoinZ first presented the idea, but the result was achieved by the BTCP team

Sometimes we can get impatient and think the grass is greener on the other side... sometimes you will feel like jumping around different coins but hard to say if that'll work - if you could get in just before rises each time maybe... but dunno, seems rather risky.

What sort of value are we talking here? If it's few hundred or in the low thousands then yeah your not going to be able to retire holding bitcoin or eth (imo). If it's 25k+ then I think the more stable top 10 would be a wise choice than gambling on altcoins. If it goes x10 in say 5 years time that is life changing.

Bitcoin and ether are the flagships in the cryptosphere. They are less prone to falling prices than other cryptocurrencies. This should be remembered if you use long terms for trading. And do not forget about diversification of its cryptocurrency, do not put all the money in three or four coins.

Maybe this is a good option for getting money. You can act aggressively and invest in large quantities in some projects at once.

well to your own reasons, I think that is more better because looking at the futures of those coins you just mentioned are very good. dumping you ether and btc is the best thing you have ever done maybe by ending of the year you will x4 of what you have. I love that. Kiss

Dumping coins for other ones to make more profit is usually not good idea, or have not worked for me before I am not sure, but if you are not very sure about the coins you dump for, think more before doing it.

unfortunately with the decision you have made, why not buy it, without dumping bitcoin and ethereum? your decision is right, but it would be nice to buy it and add many kinds of coins in your portfolio.

it is your best decision, if you do that you may be able to choose the best coin again to make a better purchase. eos and dash is not a bad coin, you might be able to look for other potentially potent coins such as eth or btc.

It's always a good strategy to readjust your portfolio as you discover and learn more- I myself have done so many times over since the correction. Pullbacks are always the best time to learn which projects are fundamentally superior!
