Successful trading is like getting pregnant... Everyone congratulates you when you manage it but no one asks how many times you got fucked first.

TRADING RESULTS UPDATE

Cannot complain with the results. But, overall, no volatility and big movements. You need to be really catchy now to earn. Or just take a vacation

Detailed report on July trades is here: http://bit.ly/2OuIOFo
The one of August is coming.

Opened long on the level rebound. Expecting growth.

One more time the market says that you can expect a lot, you can see the growth signals, but it can go the way it wants. That is why control your risks and do not hope for your kind luck.

Closed this yesterday.

DEAL WITH SHARP TREND

I way saying many times to enter at the 3rd touch. But this is an exception. No way for 3rd touch of the trend. It is an abrupt trend, you can enter it eartier. Act like you are trading momentum. Your signals here are strong levels. Illustration is below (old trade).

What's your favorite one though? Like the most influential one for you. I'm looking for a book that would help me automate my trades too. Like indicators that would be really helpful for me or something. The most important thing I want to learn is the right mindset to have when trading. I just get lost with different things and fail to focus on the right stuff.

As for signals etc.. create your own for yourself, yeah! Wink
I don't plan yet to do that. I don't have checked my win rates too. I'm not that confident to share possible trades that I could have and possible losses that you could have. I know that management is the best long term plan in trading, but the burden though. I don't really know.

Maybe you should make one Wink

I meant to develop your own signals like your own strategy, test it and use
Well, personally I have my own strategy, but do not yet share it in the form of "signals" so as not to make people confused, as this strategy suits my style and deposit, my risk tolerance and so on. Then I prefer just to share the trades and general rules which are useful in any trading strategy and which can act as a base for customized strategy.

Probably I will later, but with lots of caution

Are you just trading at Bitmex?  Do you still trade at Binance too?

At Binance, for your stable coin, do you use USDT (Tether), or USDC?

BitMex & Binance mostly

It depends... USDT is more often, but usually I consider the price movement and choose what could be more suitable for a trade

This is for example where time limit will supposedly work.
Yesterday's trade. Hope for breakout. of the July strong level ($202). But volumes make me expect less... Anyway, the stop is already in the profit zone and time limit is imposed. ETH, clock is ticking.
Hey there Mark_R!

Do you have any great books to read regarding trading? May it is related to cryptocurrencies or not, but the matter of fact is, I want to learn more so that I could improve in my trading. So that I wouldn't also rely on other information when trading. (Like signals, etc). Awesome trades you have there too.

Hello! Definitely I do have!

Here is the list of the ones I know almost by heart...

Arthur A. Merrill:
"Behavior of Prices on Wall Street",
"Bear Market Characteristics".
Toby Crabel:
“Day Trading With Short Term Price Patterns and Open Range Breakout"
Murphy, John J.:
“Technical Analysis of the Futures Markets” - MUST (charts, candles, basics...). But it is a kind of basic (I don't know your level)
Edwards and Magee Boston:
"Technical Analysis of Stock Trends"
Wilder, J. Welles.:
“New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems”
Dr. Elder.:
“Trading for a living”
Larry Williams:
“Long-Term Secrets to Short-Term Trading”

Anso the one not related to tecniques "Liar's Poker". Guess you know this. Anyway.

Good luck!

Hey! It's not a trading signal, but I have an inside from the some huge OTC traders.

BTC PRICE WILL INCREASE CONSIDERABLY💥
Approximate timeline: the first half of September

Get ready for a bull rally!
Is that just some tip from technicians that heard about a big institution possibly getting ready to buy lots of Bitcoin?

I see no other signal that it will be going up like that anytime soon, so that must mean a big corporation could be getting ready to buy?

Looking at the charts, it looks post-parabolic, like it is just going to go down to new lower-highs, and new lower-lows...

I won't say that they just heard sth about BTC purchase. That won't be really informative. That was the result of the complex research work.
Anyway, September supposedly will bring us some news from Bakkt. Thus, this may act as a trigger

This is massive,  i guess you had a little touch of luck, many tried this method and they end up being rekt. I won't advice anyone to drop his present offline job to settle fully for crytpo trading. The market us highly volatile and anything can happen

Quitting the job is not what I recommend to anyone of course. This is a tough decision for many and depends on so many things. What I'm saying is that cypto really rules and can be a solid income sourse. Just practice and learn the market.

As for the patterns. I'd say that definitely they won't work always. Our mission is to manage them is an efficient manner considering strong levels, risk and money management.
